Frolni the Mechanist Overview
This dwarven warrior was the last survivor of his clan located in the Redspike Mountains, where his people fled to during the battle between Siroth & Lumaya. Seeking his own protection, he built a gauntlet mechanism to destroy is foe…. until it took over his body, morphing him into a machine with infinite power! Frolni The Mechanist is a Mythical HP/Defence champion residing from the Dwarves Faction. The core mechanics of Frolni’s forms switch between a battle ready warrior, and a mechanical machine to support your allies
Base Form
Starting with the Base Form, the optimal value comes from the scalability of the Limitless Science passive. This will not only increase his Crit Damage by 1% for every 1000 HP he has, but also increases his Max HP by 20% [Stacks up to 100%], and his Speed by 20 [Stacks up to 100] whenever he kills an enemy [Resets each round]. Although there’s not much content on a single round basis to maximise this skills potential, you may see these stack during Live / Classic arena encounters, or simply for tedious waves to cycle through them quicker [As examples]. Leading in to his active skills, this champion has an A2 which can steal buffs from a target which will repeat upon critical hits, and an AOE attack to inflict 30% more damage if you have a higher MAX HP than your opponents. The synergy of these attacks can be devastating for your foe, and coincides perfectly with an A1 that Ignores 5% Defence for each active buff, as the buffs you may have stolen can lead to more default skill damage! You may also want to consider Frolni in some Hydra progression scenarios to steal back stolen buffs from Mischief, followed by all the protection in his mechanical form.
Alternate Form
As he Metamorphs into his Alternate Form, Frolni starts the engine of war! Whilst in this form you will be protecting your team from harm, by ways of HP Balance & self heals, Ally Protection & Shields with self Unkillable Buffs, followed by reflecting 80% of his incoming damage back to attackers. The overall synergy here is great, and can be implemented almost everywhere to support your team through battle, with some examples being the Doom Tower & Clan Boss. You may also notice this form is based on Defence, and he can scale his DEF up to 100% by repeating his default skill, therefore finding the right balance of stats to optimise both forms is ideal for optimal value.
