Sun Wukong

The old Legends of Yakai once rumoured that a mystic monk had roamed the sacred lands of the Skinwalkers. No longer enslaved to the mountain where he was once banished by Buddha, Sun Wukong arrives in Telaria once more, bringing all his mystical powers to bear upon his foe. Sun Wukong is the August 2023 7–Day Login champion that will last until October 23rd, 2023. All players who login for 7 days during this period will earn themselves this mystic champion!

Sun Wukong brings a unique set of skills to Raid, with some highlights being self Revive mechanics & placing Sheep Debuffs on enemies! Although his kit seems primarily focused on PVP encounters in forms of Damage & Debuffs, he can also be utilised in many areas such as The Doom Tower & Hydra Boss. Opening with Gotcha! [A1], he attacks 1 enemy whilst granting a 50% chance of placing a Stun Debuff, which will be taken to 75% [Once Booked] if the enemy has active buffs. Whether you want to stun targets in the Arena, or simply to control enemies in Faction Wars, this will hold universal value for most content. You think you see him once, but now you’re seeing them! [A3], this trickster will Steal all buffs from all enemies before attacking them, then will place a Block buffs on all targets for 2 turns. Block Buffs is a fundamental Debuff required for the Hydra to alleviate bad situations, and as this coincides with a steal that will create a cycle of countering the potential buff spreads from the Head Of Mischief. You can also implement this to counter Buff heavy teams in Arena, or simply tedious Doom Tower waves throughout progression [As examples].

The Staff Of Wonder [A2] attacks 1 enemy whilst Ignoring 50% of the targets Defence, which will also deal surplus damage to other enemies if the target is killed [This attack cannot be critical]. If you decide to build a Accuracy orientated Wukong, if the initial target survived the attack, he will place a Sheep Debuff which cannot be blocked! This is a powerful Debuff that the blessing Polymorph provides… but as a skill! If you’re running a team without Increase Accuracy Buffs, Wukong will require high Accuracy threshold to utilise this efficiently, due to the fact that the Sheep Debuff can be resisted [Just not blocked]. This may be the perfect answer to a Stone Skin Ultimate Deathknight in Arena!

Last but not least, his unique passive will revive this champion with 100% HP & Turn Meter 3 turns after he was killed. This will have some really cool ways to pair up with Valkanen or others in the Arena, or simply in longer battles such as the Hydra to keep popping back up to slash your enemies! This passive also holds value when paired with solo champions for Bommal The Dreadhorn, such as Lady Annabelle & Burangiri. This comes down to maximising the heal potential of their passives, whilst also constantly reviving to inflict more damage, followed by a Block Buffs to mitigate the Increase Attack buffs.
