Bomor Information

Long before he was a Hunter, Bomor had earned renown among the Free Tribes, felling a mastodon with his bare hands and making its skull his weapon. What Bomor had in strength, though, he lacked in wisdom. He challenged the chieftain — his older sister — to a duel for leadership of their tribe and was soundly beaten. She allowed Bomor to tire himself out with strong attacks and let his ferocity lead him into vulnerable positions. “You are mighty, Bomor,” she told him, “but victory requires cunning, too. There you are sorely wanting. Come back when you have learned this lesson.”
Bomor was cast out of the tribe but his shame drove him still further away to Archlands, where he became a mercenary. Often, he worked alongside Hunters, and sensed he could learn much from Leo and Nadia, despite his childishness and her cynicism. For their comrade, Twist, he never cared.
Bomor was driven more by his desire for growth than by the battle to end the Void. Though he pursued the endless war with as much commitment as his fellows, he was usually the one that reminded the others there was more to life than vying with the Void, even for a Void Hunter.
Bomor has changed much since his early days on the plains. Though he speaks little, what he says is usually wise counsel. He no longer grandstands. His battles are quick and to the point. He is no less fierce, but strength is no longer his only tool. Once he wore skulls to intimidate foes, now he keeps only those of enemies and fallen allies from whom he learned valuable lessons. Sometimes, his fellow Hunters will come upon Bomor conversing with the skull of T’lo, taking long pulls on his pipe and listening as though the long-dead mastodon were imparting wisdom from beyond death.
