Eleazar was “born” in the pits beneath the musty laboratories of Dulur, where flesh from countless failed experiments is slowly rendered by chemical processes into colorless organic clay. He had been a human assistant to a group of Korpskraft Meisters trying to create new fighters, grafting venom glands, poison sacs, and neurotoxin-producing nematocysts onto subjects both willing and compelled. Every attempt failed, the grafted hosts unequipped to regulate the toxins coursing through their bodies. Eleazar believed he could succeed where they failed. To that end, he began conducting secret experiments of his own.
When the Meisters discovered this, they were wroth. How dare a human presume to challenge or, worse yet, improve upon Digir Korpskraft! How dare he succeed! They attempted to replicate his findings, using Eleazar himself as a subject. An acidic pleurobranchus capable of absorbing and dissolving prey through its skin was grafted onto him. But they did not understand his techniques, and they failed.
Eleazar was thrown into the rendering pit, presumed dead. However, the slug attached to him began absorbing toxin-producing organs. Rather than destroy him, the volatile chemicals counteracted one another, somehow revitalizing him. Confused, he erupted into the lab, killed several Digir, and escaped.
When he encountered a group of Void Hunters, they nearly mistook him for a Void Host. Eleazar remembered nothing before the pit nor of how he could mix formulas to regulate his patchwork body. In the meantime, he sought battle to hone his abilities, gaining respect among the Hunters, but also among the Sentinels sent by the Korpskraft Meisters to reclaim him. Few have survived to report their failure to Dulur.
But there is one who dogs him still – an independent contractor who fights like a Sentinel without limitations. Eleazar will end her, too, and anything standing between him and his creators. They will all pay for his ceaseless torment, as his body remains a battleground of pain every waking moment.
