Yoshi the Drunkard enters the battle in Raid: Shadow Legends
On Tuesday, March 16th, Raid Shadow Legends are planning to launch a Fragment Summon Champion event with a new Champion – Yoshi the Drunkard. Yoshi is the first champion announced from the new Shadowkin faction.
He looks very cool! we will be adding more information as we learn more about Yoshi the Drunkard and his summoning event!
Here are a breakdown of Yoshi the Drunkard’s abilities:
A1 – Strong Booze
Attacks 1 enemy. Has 30% chance of placing a [Stun] debuff for 1 turn.
A2 – Flaming Spirits
Attacks 2 times at random. Has 75% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ACC] debuff
and a [HP Burn] debuff for 2 turns.
CD – 3
A3 – Battle Toast
Places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff and a 50% [Increase ACC] buff on all allies for 2 turns.
Also has a 50% chance of placing a [True Fear] debuff on all enemies for 1 turn. Has a
75% chance instead on enemies under [Increase ATK] buffs.
CD – 5
A4 – Partier [P]
Fills this Champion’s Turn Meter by 4% each time an enemy receives a buff.

Seems very underwhelming imo. i’ll only grab him because he’s from the new faction, had he been from any old faction i’d skip it.
Sounds fairly iffy at best. A lot going on though. He’ll be in the FW team for a while.
really?! I expected them to come out swinging with new legendary, this is very meh at best
Worse a1 than MM, random enemy a2 (which would be great if it was AOE), and no damage a3. I would only run this guy in FW or DT if I was struggling. Why does Plarium keep working against the resist meta in arena instead of pushing to help it? Is Madame _not_ powerful enough? Is speed _not_ meta enough? :facepalm:
Well, was going to hoard my shards in hopes of getting the new fusion, but after seeing how underwhelming he is going to be, I’ll be pulling this weekend.
Could be useful for Frostspider to get the HP burn going (50% ACC increase is huge), but for more than that? Too random, no damage, no passive..
ok, correction, der is a (P) but this is rather an annoyance to speed-tuning than a real support looking at his kit
If I was Plarium, I’d make the first champ in a new faction be middling, like Yoshi seems to be. Too bad a champion, and you’ll ruin interest in the new faction from the start. Too _good_ a champion, and you’ll get choruses of complaints every time you add a new champion to the faction who isn’t as good, with accusations of ‘bait and switch’ and/or dashing expectations.
You make a valid point. If we got a champ that was S-Tier then it would gear our expectations for all new additions. That said, I would hope that Plarium would cultivate a fan base for this faction. As it stands, this is not the champ to do that. There is not part of his kit that screams out to me. Nothing about this champ gets me out of bed in the morning… Hopefully he is also a whopper of a champ and can smack hard. Idk
Long cool downs and only seems viable for faction wars. I bet he takes 16 books as well. What a pitiful attempt!
I really hoped that they bring a new buff or debuff to the game together with the new faction.
His A3 and passive seem tailor-made to counter an Arbiter / Gorgorab arena lead to me, and I guess he won’t be awful at it assuming his A3 books to 100%. Shame his A1 and A2 don’t seem to add much to the equation.
