2 for 1 Sacred Shard Events returns

RAID: Shadow Legends is bringing back the popular Extra Legendary Summon Event on Tuesday, October 13th, giving players the chance to get two Legendary Champions from a single Sacred Shard!

This event offers an extra Legendary Champion at no additional Shard cost, making it an attractive opportunity for players with Sacred Shards saved up.

Starting Tuesday, October 13th, players who summon a Legendary Champion from a Sacred Shard will receive a second, different Legendary Champion for free.

Here’s how the event works:

• The event applies exclusively to Sacred Shards.
• Summoning a Legendary Champion will award a second, different Legendary Champion from the same Shard.
• The bonus Legendary Champion is only available once per player during the event.
• The extra summon costs no additional Silver.
• The bonus Legendary Champion does not count towards Quests, Events, or Tournaments.

Once you’ve received your bonus Legendary Champion, further Legendary summons will not trigger another free Champion during this event.

The Extra Legendary Event offers the chance to receive two Legendary Champions from a single Sacred Shard, but the timing makes this event difficult to recommend for most players.

The biggest concern is the upcoming Champion Chase Tournament, which begins on Friday, October 16th. This tournament will feature 300 Citadel Points towards the ongoing Ingenious Titan Event, making it an important opportunity for players working towards The Scarecrow.

The Extra Legendary Event starts on Tuesday, October 13th, with no confirmed overlap with Champion Chase. Pulling Sacred Shards early means sacrificing potential tournament points later in the week.

There are still circumstances where pulling Sacred Shards makes sense.

• Players deep into Sacred Shard Mercy: If you’ve already summoned 20 or more Sacred Shards without receiving a Legendary Champion, your chances of getting one have increased considerably. This makes the Extra Legendary Event much more appealing.
• Players with large Sacred Shard reserves: Players holding plenty of Sacred Shards can take advantage of the event without exhausting their resources for upcoming content.
• Players looking to expand their Legendary roster: Receiving two Legendary Champions from one successful summon can provide substantial account progression, particularly for players missing many Legendary Champions.

There are some drawbacks to keep in mind. Both Legendary Champions are random, so there’s no guarantee that either will improve your account. You might receive duplicate Champions or Legendaries that offer little value to your existing teams.

For most players, saving Sacred Shards is the safer choice.

The upcoming Champion Chase Tournament, the expected Halloween Fusion, and future summoning events all provide reasons to hold onto your resources.

Players pursuing The Scarecrow through the Ingenious Titan Event should pay particular attention to the Champion Chase Tournament. Those 300 Citadel Points may prove far more valuable than taking a chance on two random Legendary Champions.
