2x Ancient Event – 10x Teodor the Savant – Raid Shadow Legends
Plarium has just released the news that they will be holding a 2x Ancient Shard Event this weekend, alongside a 10x Event for one of the most prolific PVE Champions in the game, and top-tier Dungeon Carry.
This, however, has come just after the recent fusion, and before the July Fusion begins, meaning some may opt to save their shards towards the next fusion instead.

Hey, y’all!
This Friday, June 30th, we’re planning to launch two events simultaneously
- We’re planning to launch x2 event to summon Epic and Legendary Champions from Ancient Shards.
- And also, we’re planning to launch x10 event to summon Teodor the Savant from Ancient Shards.
Please, note that the duration of the x10 event will be one day shorter than the duration of the x2 event.
Should you be pulling your shards?
Typically speaking, 2x is the BEST chance of getting a legendary from Ancient Shards, outside of Guaranteed Events, with the chance per shard rising to 1% rather than the standard 0.5% chance, paired with the 10x for Teodor the Savant creates potentially the best chances of getting this Champion unless a guaranteed Event is launched for him – which due to the strength of this champion, is VERY unlikely.
Unfortunately, the chances to get a 10x Champion are still incredibly low, even paired with a 2x event due to the sheer amount of Champions in the game.
However, when it comes to deciding if you pull your shards or not, this is not part of a Fusion, which always requires shards – so think carefully before deciding whether or not to go for this event!

Hmmm… very tempting. I am lucky enough to already have one Teodor. Do I try my luck going for a second one? One for dungeon speed runs and one for hydra?
great champ, worth going for as it is a 2x,
but might need to keep a few shards spare for the next fusion because
a) about time for a good fusion/fragment champ, the last few have been average
b) if they have 2 summon rush events and no champ chase on the next fusion then going to need a lot more shards :-(
Kinda surprised, we just had him like a month or two ago in a 10X event. I got him from that one, I suppose having two would be kind of fun, i have failed on the last 2 10x events though, ended up getting alsgor crimsonhorn (Figures because i skipped jetni thinking theres no way i’d get the pair) during the brogni 10x and got a sigmund during another that I cant remember. I’m abit scared to pull ancient shards because I’d really like to get someone else. That being said, this guy was absolutely game changing for my account. It turned most of my dungeon 20 runs from 2 minutes 30 seconds – 4 minutes all the way down to 50 seconds – 1 minute 30 on all of them. He is absolutely game changing. Would kill for like a noct with him or even a corvis. If you can go for him then you should, he’s perfect for almost every area and just an absolute beast of a leggo.

The german in-game-news only mentions a double chance for legendaries, no double chance for epics. I hope this got lost in translation and there is a double chance for epics as well, like you cited here. For an early game account this makes a big difference, I think.
About how many shards we are talking to have normally chance to get legendary to get from paired event 2x and 10x ? I mean how many shards you have for that event if you thinking i will try as i have chance to get him ? 1% chance suggesting for me to get any legendary at least 100+ and for specific ? I have no idea. thanks.
On average, I’ll pull a legendary every 50-100 ancients during 2x. Sometimes they’ll appear back-to-back, sometimes 1 about every 20 shards, and sometimes it goes up to mercy. The average is what’s important though. This is also only my experience in 3+ years, the average could be different for others.
The math is really straight forward here. The 10x has absolutely no bearing on the number of legendarily you pull. It only factors into WHICH one you could pull. The 2x moves your chances to pull a legendary at exactly 1% (1 out of 100). So you the community at large should expect to pull 1 legedary from every 100 shards.
Your personal results are going to vary wildly and nobody can tell you how many shards you need to pull other than you will get 1 legendary when you max out your mercy, which I think is around 230 shards. That is the only guarantee. You are not guaranteed 1 legendary out of every 100 shards just because you have a 1% chance. You could pull 200 in a row and get nothing that is a very real possibility.
