7 New Champions join RAID: Shadow Legends

7 new Champions will be added to RAID this week, alongside the Halloween Fusion for Gretal Hagbane.

The Fusion will begin on Thursday, 31st of October, and on the same day all of these new Champions will be added to the game.

Let’s check out the 7 New Champions who will be joining the ranks…

Gretal Hagbane – Fusion

Introducing Gretel Hagbane, the Legendary Halloween Fusion champion for Raid: Shadow Legends 2024!

After a close encounter with an evil witch in Mistwood, Gretel and her brother Hansel broke free from her dark curse, vowing to rid Teleria of evil magic. Now, Gretel joins the Sacred Order as a powerful champion, specializing in wave control, damage dealing, and team synergy with her brother Hansel.

Gretel’s Skills and Team Synergy:
As a standalone champion, Gretel excels in controlling enemies and dealing heavy damage, but with Hansel by her side, she gains powerful enhancements. Her Sacred Ritual [A3] is an AoE attack that reduces enemy Turn Meters by 20%, but when Hansel is present, the reduction increases to 50% and becomes irresistible. She also gains a 20% Turn Meter boost for each enemy that survives the attack, making her a strong choice for controlling waves, Arena opponents, and bosses like Fire Knight. Additionally, if Hansel is killed while paired with her, Gretel can instantly activate this skill, turning the tide against their foes.

Her passive skill complements her kit by filling her Turn Meter by 50% whenever enemies take an extra turn, allowing her to counter and potentially boost Hansel’s Turn Meter when they fight together.

Single-Target Nuking and Crowd Control:
Gretel’s Shadowseeker Bolts [A2] delivers four hits on a single target, with each hit ignoring increasing amounts of enemy Defense, starting at 10% and reaching up to 25%. If she kills her target, the skill resets and fills her Turn Meter by 50%, making her a lethal single-target nuker against champions like Rotos and an effective choice for reducing Fire Knight’s shield counters. This skill also allows her to take down the Dark Fae after dealing with her clones, enabling her to follow up with A3 for Turn Meter control. Her A1 applies Decrease Defense and, when paired with Hansel, becomes an AoE attack that adds an extra hit on enemies with buffs, making it valuable against waves and bosses alike.

Hansel Witchhunter – Fusion Partner

Introducing Hansel Witchhunter, the Attack champion from the Sacred Order, who brings relentless power and skill disruption in Raid: Shadow Legends. Escaping from the clutches of a dark witch in Mistwood, Hansel has dedicated his life to hunting down evil magic. As Gretel Hagbane’s counterpart and ally, he gains potent synergy when they fight together, amplifying his devastating attacks and control effects.

Hansel’s Skills and Synergy with Gretel:
Hansel’s abilities center on heavy damage and skill disruption, making him ideal for both Arena and PvE. His Baneful Burst [A3] is an AoE attack that ignores 15% of enemy Defense and increases the cooldown of a random enemy skill by two turns. When paired with Gretel, this attack becomes even more deadly, ignoring 30% Defense, increasing all enemy skill cooldowns, and becoming irresistible. This combination disables high-resistance targets and prevents enemies from using key abilities.

His A2 delivers a double hit on a single target, ignoring Shields and Unkillable buffs, and grants an Extra Turn if the target is killed. This skill is invaluable in the Arena for taking down champions like Leorius, allowing Hansel to chain his attacks into his A3, potentially wiping out entire teams.

Countering Fear Debuffs and Team Coordination:
Hansel’s passive allows him to reflect Fear and True Fear debuffs back onto enemies, and this extends to Gretel when they’re together, making him an excellent counter against champions like Ultimate Deathknight and Harvest Jack, as well as Hydra’s Head of Torment. Additionally, if Gretel is killed, Hansel’s passive triggers his Baneful Burst [A3], putting enemies in jeopardy of losing control.

His A1 inflicts Weaken, pairing well with Gretel’s Decrease Defense for enhanced team synergy. This attack also becomes AoE when they’re paired, and Hansel lands additional hits on debuffed enemies, boosting his effectiveness against waves and bosses alike. While he excels in Arena, Hansel’s abilities also make him valuable for Faction Wars, Siege battles, and stages in the Cursed City.

Signy of Highshield – Fusion Epic

Meet Signy of Highshield, a powerful new Epic HP champion in Raid: Shadow Legends just in time for Halloween!

In the great battle for Teleria, Signy fought valiantly alongside her kin, Sigmund, defending the homeland of the Banner Lords. Wielding her longsword, she reflects enemy attacks and dismantles their protective shields with ease. Released during the Gretal Hagbane fusion event, Signy specializes in Reflect Damage, buff and debuff removal, and Resistance manipulation.

Signy’s Just Cause [A3] skill grants Increase RES and Reflect Damage buffs to allies, reducing resistance requirements in high-stakes encounters like Doom Tower, while her passive reflects debuffs on allies under Reflect Damage—a formidable strategy against foes like Bommal. Her versatile A2 skill removes a random buff from enemies and a debuff from allies, while her A1 applies Decrease RES to a target, healing her by 20% of the damage dealt.

Denid the Tusk Knight – Fusion Rare

Introducing Denid, the Tusked Knight, a fearless Rare defender of the Banner Lords faction in Raid: Shadow Legends.

When his village was devastated by tusked Skinwalker raiders, Denid fought back with unmatched courage, taking down one of the brutal invaders. Honoring his fallen kin, he claimed his enemy’s helmet, which he now wears to infiltrate Skinwalker territory. Disguised as one of them, Denid roams his enemies’ lands, hunting down those who once threatened his home and vowing to protect his village.

Denid, the fusion rare released during the Gretal Hagbane fusion, offers a straightforward but effective kit for players. As the only Rare champion capable of placing the powerful 25% Strengthen buff on allies, he provides impressive team protection on a 3-turn cooldown, comparable even to Epic champions like Morag Bronzelock. His A1 skill offers Crowd Control with a 40% chance to Provoke enemies, making him useful in PvE areas like Faction Wars, Cursed City, and against bosses like Magma Dragon. Additionally, when hit by enemies under Provoke, Denid gains a 10% Shield, adding a layer of self-protection.

Arnorn the Shining

Introducing Arnorn, the Golden King of the Dwarves in Raid: Shadow Legends – a Void Legendary nuker with unmatched power.

Earning his title after slaying a mythic dragon that once threatened his kingdom, Arnorn received golden armor adorned with dragon heads and a legendary axe capable of slicing through the toughest defenses. As a relentless force in the Dwarves Faction, Arnorn’s abilities center on devastating attacks and growing stronger as his enemies stack buffs, while his unique passive keeps him durable in battle.

Arnorn’s A3 is a devastating AoE that bypasses protection buffs and, if he kills a target, reduces all enemy Turn Meters by 50%, ignoring resistance – perfect for controlling high-speed enemies without relying on accuracy. His A2 is a double-hit nuke that scales with lost HP, ignores 35% of Defense if the target has two or more buffs, and grants an Extra Turn on a kill, allowing him to chain his attacks and amplify his damage as he becomes injured, similar to Leorius.

Arnorn’s real power lies in his passive, which boosts his ATK by 5% per enemy buff, stacking up to 100%. This makes him particularly effective against buff-heavy teams in Arena or PvE encounters like Sintranos. When an opponent tries to take him down, Arnorn’s passive prevents his death, places Stone Skin on himself, and activates his A3, setting up a lethal counter. Additionally, his A1 inflicts Crowd Control by placing Stun, with extra damage scaling off the buffs on his target, making him deadly against well-buffed foes.

Vulkanos Fumor – Faction Unity

Introducing Vulkanos Fumor, the Faction Unity champion of Demonspawn, in Raid: Shadow Legends.

Emerging from the infernal depths, Vulkanos commands his demon allies, igniting the battlefield with the fury of the underworld. Bound by unity, he brings powerful team synergy, with his skills intensifying based on the number of Demonspawn allies on his team. With three allies, Vulkanos becomes a devastating force, applying burns passively with a 70% chance whenever enemies receive buffs or Turn Meter boosts, and instantly activating burns on targets already aflame. These Unity-enhanced burns ignore resistance, increase his Ignore Defense by up to 100%, and Block Revives on enemies he kills under burn.

Vulkanos’ A2 places irresistible Fear on all enemies, while his A3 scales up to 100% damage based on burn durations, ideal for enemies with long burn timers, like in Hydra battles, where respawned heads apply Serpent’s Will buffs that amplify his Ignore Defense effect. Unity further strengthens his A3, cutting incoming damage by 50% when off cooldown, with cooldown reduction as burns activate. Vulkanos also bypasses protection effects like Stone Skin and Unkillable on burned targets, giving him a unique edge in high-stakes battles.

Finally, his A1’s damage scales up to 100% with each use, stacking quickly when he counterattacks enemies targeting his allies under burn. Vulkanos excels in Arena, Faction-specific Siege stages, Hydra, and as a powerful choice for Crowd Control and damage across multiple game modes.

Nell Blackteeth – Mythical

Introducing Nell Blackteeth, a Mythical champion in Raid: Shadow Legends who lurks in the misty depths of Mistwood, wielding dark arts and ancient curses.

Once a trusted healer, Nell’s obsession with forbidden magic twisted her into a creature of fear, luring travelers into her domain only to reveal their worst nightmares. With her unique ability to shift between two powerful forms, Nell brings versatile and deadly skills to any encounter.

BASE FORM:

In her primary form, Nell focuses on debuffing, Turn Meter manipulation, buff stealing, and crowd control. Her passive ability applies Poison whenever enemies receive buffs, heals, or Turn Meter increases, bypassing Block Debuffs and boosting her Turn Meter with each Poison. This makes her a nightmare in Arena, where she can cut in to activate all Poisons with her A2, stealing buffs, reducing Turn Meters, and putting enemies to Sleep—an excellent choice for Poison explosion teams alongside champions like Elenaril and Zavia. Her A3 attacks all enemies, applying Decrease Defense and Weaken while boosting ally Turn Meters, a valuable skill for both PvP and PvE. Nell’s A1 steals Turn Meter and applies True Fear, granting her control over the battlefield.

ALTERNATE FORM:

As she shifts forms, Nell transforms into her ultimate nightmare state, bringing massive nukes and scaling stats based on debuffs placed in either form. Her Cut ‘Em Up [A2] is a powerful single-target nuke, dealing double damage to enemies under crowd control effects. If she kills her target, this triggers her A3, hitting all enemies with True Fear and chaining attacks to keep pressure on the enemy team. Her passive grants an Extra Turn when enemies are killed, letting her cycle through attacks quickly. Nell’s A1 in this form is a four-hit attack that ignores 30% of Defense, reduces enemy MAX HP, and grants her a Shield when fighting bosses, ideal for Arena, Fire Knight, and Scarab King. Additionally, this form scales her HP, ATK, DEF by 2% per debuff (up to 50%), with her Speed increasing by 2 per debuff, further enhancing her threat level.
