Alure – Champion Spotlight
Alure is one of the best Turn Meter reduction Champions in Raid: Shadow Legends. Even without upgrading her skills with books, you can unleash her most powerful effect by building her with 100% Critical Rate, along with enough speed and accuracy for the encounter you’re tackling. The key ability here is her default attack, Psychic Whip, which hits 3 times at random and reduces the target’s Turn Meter by 25% on each critical hit. Against single targets, such as the Fire Knight or The Dark Fae after defeating the clones, all hits are directed at the boss, providing optimal control.
In this article, we’ll explore the top areas where Alure shines, discuss optimal builds, and dive into how her other abilities can work to your advantage.
THE FIRE KNIGHT
When it comes to the Fire Knight dungeon, Alure truly shines in normal stages, as the hard stages require Freeze to manipulate the boss’s Turn Meter. That said, she’s one of the best champions for tackling normal stages up to stage 25. However, RNG will play a role on Force affinity stages, where her attacks may weak hit, potentially reducing her effectiveness. For the waves leading up to the boss, you’ll want a team that can clear them quickly. This can be achieved with champions like Seer, who excels at wave nuking, or a powerful damage dealer like Thor, who also brings crowd control & multi hits.
As you’re progressing, consider including strong support champions in your team, such as revivers, to recover fallen allies if things go wrong. For pre-sets, you can enable all of Alure’s abilities during the waves for additional damage, Decrease Defence & Sleep control. However, once you reach the boss, it’s crucial to lock her to her A1 to consistently control the boss’s Turn Meter and help break the shield, especially when paired with other multi-hitters on your team.
To maximize your team’s effectiveness, include champions that provide Ally Attack, Increase Speed, Enemy Max HP hits [Coldheart, Gnut, Royal Guard], and Decrease Speed to cycle through attacks faster and slow the boss. Additionally, Decrease Defence and Weaken will boost your overall damage, while other positive effects will enhance your team’s performance. Lastly, ensure Alure has sufficient Speed and Accuracy to perform well at the stage you’re tackling!
The Dark Fae
The Dark Fae is one of the toughest bosses in the Doom Tower, but when broken down, she can be seen as a variation of the Fire Knight. The primary goal is to eliminate your mirrored clones quickly before they can use their abilities against you, then rely on Turn Meter and Speed control to limit the boss’s turns. Alure’s Temptation [A2] can be an excellent opener against the clones, offering a chance to apply Decrease Defence and Sleep while dealing solid damage to set up your damage dealer to finish them off. Great Epic options for clone killers include champions like Siege Hulk or Fylja, and you can find a full list of the best Clone Killers here:
Similar to Fire Knight waves, Alure’s skill usage on the waves doesn’t matter too much, but you’ll want your other allies to save their key abilities for the boss phase. Once the clones are defeated, switch Alure to use her A1 only. This will continuously reduce the boss’s Turn Meter, minimizing her chances to take a turn. Combining Decrease Speed, Increase Speed, and Turn Meter manipulation is essential for maintaining control. Highlight champions for this role include Royal Guard, Lyssandra, Deacon Armstrong, Coldheart and Gnut. To speed up your runs, strong nukers like Enemy Max HP champions or Epic boss slayers like Whisper can make a significant difference.
If you lose control, the Dark Fae will prioritize banishing the champion with the highest attack unless they’re under Veil. In that case, she will target the leader position. This mechanic can be used to your advantage – manipulate which ally is banished by ensuring the slowest champion on your team has the highest attack, allowing you to take them out and bring them back into the fight. Including forms of Leech and healing is also recommended to help recover your team’s health during moments where you take hits.
How To Build Alure
Alure offers versatility in how you can build her, but there are key stats to prioritize before focusing on optimizing her damage. First, ensure she has enough Speed and Accuracy for the stages or encounters you’re tackling, as well as 100% Critical Rate to consistently drop Turn Meter with her A1. While her primary role is Turn Meter control, her A3 is a hard hitting single target ability that, if booked, can be valuable for areas like Cursed City, Secret Rooms, and waves.
For this reason, investing in some damage after covering the essential stats can be a smart choice, helping to speed up runs in the areas where she excels. Additionally, sets like Relentless can be particularly effective, providing extra turns that further reduce an enemy’s Turn Meter and increasing her overall utility.
The key stats to look for on Alure are:
- ACC
- SPD
- C.RATE
- C.DMG
- ATK%
The best sets for Alure are:
- Perception
- Speed
- Relentless
- Accuracy
- Pinpoint [Accessories]

OTHER PLACES TO USE ALURE
Alure’s power in the early game is often overlooked outside of Fire Knight, particularly in areas like the Potion Keeps when working toward stage 13 for dungeon challenges. Her Turn Meter control can significantly reduce the number of hits your team takes, preventing them from using abilities that might otherwise block your success. Having a champion like Alure, who excels even without books, is a huge asset for F2P players, as she can carry an account through many progression areas.
Alure also excels in Shield based strategies against the Scarab King. With your team under a Shield buff from champions like Metalshaper or Miscreated Monster, you can prevent the boss from counterattacking. Cycling her A1 alongside allies who bring additional Speed or Turn Meter manipulation creates a reliable way to beat the Scarab King. Adding champions in Destroy sets or with Destroy Max HP abilities can chip away at the boss’s shield bar. Additionally, Alure shines in other areas such as The Cursed City, Faction Wars, and Secret Rooms, making her an valuable for some wave based PVE content.
