August Fusion Announcement – Emic Trunkheart
Plarium has just announced the August 2023 Fusion, Introducing the Emic Trunkheart Fusion!
The Emic Trunkheart Fusion will begin on Thursday, August 3rd.
This Fusion is what is known as a Hybrid Fusion, combining aspects of both Traditional and Fragment Fusions into one, it will require us to complete Fusion Events and Fusion Tournaments, in order to gain Fragments to collect 4 Epic Champions – which then, we need to rank up to Level 50, Rank 5 – and Fully Ascend them, before fusing them into Emic.

Plarium’s Overview of Emic Trunkheart
Emic Trunkheart will shine bright in the Phantom Shogun’s Grove thanks to a Taunt buff, which will definitely come in handy when fighting Akumori the Phantom Shogun.
His ability to place Shield buffs and increase their value, along with placing Unkillable also makes him super helpful when battling Demon Lord. And you probably won’t mind Unkillable on Arena to counter the Cupidus and Venus duo, to say the least.
If you build Emic Trunkheart with some ACC, the second part of his Passive skill might be really annoying for your enemies on Arena and when clearing PvE waves. As when Emic is attacked while under the Shield buff, he has a chance to increase the CD of the attacker’s random skill by 2 turns. It occurs once per attack, and it does its job.
And did I tell you that he also decreases the CD of his allies skills with his A2? ‘Cause Emic definitely does! Which is useful at almost any location in the game.
On top of that, he has a 30% HP Aura in all battles.
Emic Trunkheart Skills:
Earthroot Tendril
Attacks 1 enemy.
Increases the value of all [Shield] buffs on this Champion by 25%. Also increases the value of any [Shield] buffs on the ally with the lowest HP by 25%.
- Level 2 – Damage +5%
- Level 3 – Damage +5%
- Level 4 – Damage +5%
- Level 5 – Damage +5%
Vinequake – Cooldown: 4 Turns
Attacks all enemies.
Places a [Shield] buff on all allies equal to 30% of this Champion’s MAX HP for 2 turns.
Decreases the cooldown of all ally skills, except this Champion’s, by 1 turn.
- Level 2 – Damage +10%
- Level 3 – Damage +10%
- Level 4 – Cooldown -1
Trunkheart’s Sanctuary – Cooldown: 6 Turns
Places a [Unkillable] buff on all allies for 2 turns.
Also places a [Taunt] buff and a [Shield] buff on this Champion for 2 turns. The value of the [Shield] is equal to 30% of this Champion’s MAX HP.
- Level 2 – Cooldown -1
- Level 3 – Cooldown -1
Entanglement – Passive
When attacked while under a [Shield] buff, has a 50% chance of increasing the cooldown of a random skill on the attacker by 2 turns. Occurs once per attack.
Whenever an ally’s HP drops below 20%, increase the damage dealt by that ally by 20%.
- Level 2 – Buff/Debuff Chance +10%
- Level 3 – Buff/Debuff Chance +15%
Aura
Increases Ally HP in all Battles by 30%.

Looks cool, but resources are pretty low after the Gnut fusion… maybe a few good Clan Boss days will replenish the shards and make it possible.
Yeah I’m a little low on resources right now as well after Gnut. I was half-heartedly doing the Path of Vengeance, but that comes to a full stop now. Now I’m just building up resources (especially silver). This guy is going to be SO good.
random thought: his A1 grows shields and his a2 reduces cooldowns… could he be added into an infinite team and potentially add a second brogni like effect? Assuming you make corpulent cadaver have the lowest max hp on the team (building with defense and avoiding HP buffs) could you in theory make him the target for the a1 shield buff every time?
After 3 years playing without pulling any void legendary from shards… this is gonna be my first fusion ever.. i really don’t know how to do it and how many rss,energy,shards and silver i’ll need … boh… let’s try it.. maybe i need to spend some money for energy and shards… usually i buy only monthly gems and mobile card
Lookup guides on here , they give you a general idea of how ressource intensive a fusion is and what to expect , if anything spending to complete a fusion is the only time i allow myself to spend on this game !

This is not must get fusion after Plarium nerfed his A1 skill and maximized the increased HP value to 10000.
Thx by Plarium i dont need vaste or buy any resources after Gnut fusion. Easy skip.
I’m literally going to miss this fusion by 50 fragments on my 4th Isbeil. What a piss off, short on resources from last fusion!
