Champion Spotlight: Boragar the Elder
Boragar the Elder is a Dwarf Legendary, and currently, the ONLY Champion in the entire game who has the ability to buff your team’s resistance, he was added in the Valentines Patch of 2022.
Since he is the first in the game to have this buff, he is HUGELY valuable, and may well end up changing the meta in the arena, seeing a return of high resistance teams, since the ability to boost your Resistance to insanely high levels, subsequently allowing your team to be incredibly hard to kill!
The arena is not the only place this will come in handy, if we take a look at Doom Tower, there are so many fights where resistance is key to your success, such as Bommel and Iragoth. The other area we’ve seen a rise in resistance, in PVE Content, is Hydra – especially when fighting the Head of Mischief, to prevent your buffs from being stolen and spread onto the enemies.
As it was announced yesterday, this weekend (18/02/2022) there will be a x2 Sacred event, with a 10x Chance to pull this guy, undoubtedly the best opportunity to get your hands on this champion, which is great considering how recently he was released. However, with the ever-growing pool of Champions in this game, unfortunately 10x doesn’t mean a huge deal these days – so your chances to get him are still incredibly low.

Antique Staff
Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 50% chance of placing a 60% [Increase DEF] buff for 1 turn on the ally with the lowest HP. Will not be placed on this Champion. Has a 100% chance instead if this attack is critical.
Level 2: Buff/Debuff Chance +5%

Souls of Old Stone – 4 Turn Cooldown
Removes 1 random debuff from all allies, then places a [Shield] buff on all allies for 2 turns equal to 20% of this Champion’s MAX HP.

I got my 4th Lego from shards today, another basement tier. In the order pulled for the account, King Garog (outhit by an Uncommon in HH’s videos, doesn’t even deserve the grade he has), Cillian the Lucky, Yoshi the Drunkard, and Elegaius. The fact that these are SO bad when I have to fight top tier legendaries in Silver 4 really hurts. Day 196 on the account and Gold IV for Arbiter looks impossible. Why on earth would I spend money when you can get this garbage?
Sorry for the rant, but this is my big issue with my game experience as a newer player. There are too many useless legendaries. I don’t mind grinding to make progress but feel inhibited by such horrific pulls. If I didn’t have Ninja, I would have quit long ago.
