Plarium has announced this weeks Clan vs Clan Summon Events and the whales are surfacing ready!
There will be two 10x Events over the CvC Window, for 2 of Raid’s most infamous Champions! Let’s check it out!
Some news about the upcoming events:
(1) Tomorrow, August 16th, we’re planning to launch x10 event to summon Prince Kymar from Ancient and Sacred Shards
(2) And on Wednesday, August 17th, we’re planning to launch x10 event to summon Warlord from Void Shards
Why are these Champions so valuable?
Warlord has a unique ability in Raid: Shadow Legends able to completely lock out all enemies’ skills on maximum cooldown with his A3 whilst simultaneously having a 70% chance of reducing everyone’s turn meter! This skill is his signature skill and can single handily win Arena battles. This skill paired with his shield, Block Debuffs buff and heal on his A2 also make him viable as a protector in any Dungeon or Faction Wars where he has GOD status.
As for Kymar, his insane skill kit makes him incredibly valuable in multiple areas of the game, whether it be stripping enemy buffs and putting them to sleep in the arena, whilst providing a speed aura – or resetting all of your Champion’s skills in Dungeons to allow you to blast through content in very little time, he has it all – You can read a full-in-depth breakdown of why Kymar is considered so good here.
Should you pull your shards?
Now, this is a tricky question to answer, since it will depend on exactly where you are in the game – for early-mid players who are still after good epics and generally good legendary champions, it is advised to hold off pulling shards until 2x Events as this will allow you to get the most of your shards.
For players who have very filled rosters and are looking to fill certain gaps in their teams, if these two champions fill those gaps then this may be the event for you, especially if you are close to triggering the Mercy System, as otherwise, you’re pulling shards with standard rates which could lead to a lot of heartbreak.
One thing you need to remember, and be careful with – 10x is “real” but it’s also a joke, with the very overpopulated champion pool, each new batch of champions released to the game dilutes the pool further and reduces our chances to getting these 10x boosted champions even more – so if you are pulling shards, be warned that you may not get the happy ending you’re after.
Will you be pulling shards for either of these TOP TIER Champions? Let us know in the comments!
