Double Ancient Shard Summon Event!
Plarium has just announced a Double Ancient Shard Summon Event!
The first event increases your chances to Summon Epic and Legendary Champions from Ancient Shards. The second offers players improved chances of gaining Vizug the Noxious.
These two events will start on Friday, June 28th. Here are the details:
Event 1: June 28th – July 1st
x2 Epic and Legendary Champion Chance from Ancient Shards
Event 2: June 28th – June 29th
x10 Chance to Summon Vizug the Noxious from Ancient Shards
Note that the x10 Vizug the Noxious event will end one day earlier than the x2 event.
Vizug the Noxious

The Ogryn Faction Unity Champion, VIzug decimates both enemy waves and Bosses with his selection of crippling [Poison] and [HP Burn] Debuff Skills. His A2 Skill can place two 5% [Poison] Debuffs and one [HP Burn] Debuff on all targets, while his A1 and A3 Skills increase the duration and damage of these Debuffs.
Check out Vizug’s complete Champion Guide below.
Should You Summon?
Much like the current Extra Legendary Champion Summon Event, this could be a way to tempt players into using their Shards ahead of the next Fusion announcement. If you’re waiting for the next Fusion, it could be best to hold on to your Ancient Shards.
Once again though, newer players might want to take a chance on these if they have spare Ancient Shards. The same is true for players that are close to their Mercy limits. Vizug the Noxious is also a solid [Poison] and [HP Burn] focused champion, which makes him valuable against many Bosses in the game. If you’re in need of a good poisoner for Hydra and other content, it could be worth Summoning during his event.
If you do plan to go for Vizug, note that you can also earn his Perfect Soul in the Champion Chase Tournament running from June 28th to June 1st.
Finally, we can’t help but notice a subtle Ogryn Tribes theme taking shape this weekend. Vizug is an Ogryn, and we also have a x3 Ogryn Tribes Accessories drop rate event running on June 29th which will coincide with this event. Could the next Fusion be an Orgyn Tribes Champion?
