Double Champion Rebalance Incoming

Plarium has just announced a double Champion Rebalance in an upcoming patch, The Calamitus and Ailil are the next to get some love!

These changes will see a huge rise in value for both Champions!

Legendary Champion Rebalance: Ailil

With this rebalance, Ailil received a simple yet impactful damage boost, making him an even greater threat on the battlefield.

  • We increased the DMG output for both his A1 and A3
  • His A2 now additionally ignores 25% of enemy DEF, further amplifying his offensive potential
  • And his Aura was updated to boost all allies’ ATK, providing greater team-wide synergy

[Gnarled Scythe]

Damage Increased.

[Pierce the Carapace]

Attacks 1 enemy. Will ignore [Strengthen], [Stone Skin], [Increase DEF], and [Ally Protection] buffs, as well as 25% of the target’s DEF.
If this attack kills an enemy, fully heals this Champion and places a [Stone Skin] buff on them for 1 turn.

[Chill Wind of Autumn]

Damage Increased.

[Aura]

Increases Ally ATK in all battles by 30%.

Mythical Champion Rebalance: The Calamitus BASE FORM

With this rebalance, we aimed to not only boost Calamitus’ damage but also enhance his kit to better reflect the unique strengths of each of his forms.

Base Form:

  • Calamitus received an extra 20% critical hit chance to both his A1 and A2
  • In addition, his A2 now deals more damage and progressively ignores up to 25% DEF with each consecutive hit
  • A3 now ignores 20% of the target’s DEF
  • And his Base form Passive was completely reworked – now, Calamitus places [Shield] and [Increase ATK] buffs on himself at the start of his turn

[Reaping Cull]

Attacks 1 enemy 2 times. Each hit has an extra 20% chance of inflicting a critical hit.
Each hit restores this Champion’s destroyed MAX HP, equal to the damage inflicted. Each hit also heals this Champion by 30% of the damage inflicted.
Grants an Extra Turn if this attack kills an enemy.

[Horde of Calamity]

Attacks 1 enemy 4 times. Each hit has an extra 20% chance of inflicting a critical hit.
The first hit will ignore 10% of the target’s DEF. Each subsequent hit will ignore an additional 5% of the target’s DEF.
The first hit places a [Block Buffs] debuff for 2 turns.
The second hit places a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns.
The third hit places a 25% [Weaken] debuff for 2 turns.
The fourth hit places a 30% [Decrease SPD] debuff for 2 turns.
Damage increased

[Necroclysm]

Attacks all enemies. This attack is always critical, and will ignore 20% of each enemy’s DEF.
If this attack kills an enemy, places an [Unkillable] buff on this Champion for 1 turn.
If this attack kills 2 or more enemies, places an [Unkillable] buff on this Champion for 2 turns instead.

[Immortal Creation [P]]

At the start of this Champion’s turn, places a [Shield] buff equal to 50% of this Champion’s MAX HP on them for 1 turn. Also places a 50% [Increase ATK] buff on this Champion for 1 turn.

Mythical Champion Rebalance: The Calamitus ALT FORM

Alternate Form

  • Calamitus got an extra 20% critical hit chance on all of his attacking skills
  • A2 now ignores 20% DEF baseline, increasing up to 35% if the enemy is under a [Hex] debuff
  • His A3 Cooldown was reduced by 1 turn
  • Calamitus’ Passive now heals him by 30% of the damage he inflicts on enemies under [Hex] debuff, and his ATK will now increase by 20% for each enemy under a [Hex] debuff.

[Fell Scythe]

Attacks 1 enemy. Has an extra 20% chance of inflicting a critical hit.
After attacking, transfers all debuffs from this Champion to the target.
If the target is under a [Hex] debuff before the attack, transfers all debuffs from this Champion to the target before attacking instead.

[Final Testament]

Attacks all enemies. Has an extra 20% chance of inflicting a critical hit. Before attacking, removes all debuffs from this Champion.
Will ignore 20% of each enemy’s DEF. Will ignore 35% of each target’s DEF instead if they are under a [Hex] debuff.
Damage increases by 10% for each debuff on each target.

[Termination]

Attacks all enemies. Has an extra 20% chance of inflicting a critical hit. Before attacking, places a [Hex] debuff and a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns.
Will ignore [Life Barrier], [Poison Cloud], and [Ally Protection] buffs.
Cooldown decreased – 3

[Banquet of Death [P]]

Whenever this Champion attacks an enemy under a [Hex] debuff, heals this Champion by 30% of the damage inflicted.
Also increases this Champion’s ATK by 20% for each enemy under a [Hex] debuff.

Finally, Ailil gets buff.. His kit was good, but his hits were very weak, making him pretty useless… Curious to see the changes
