Forge Pass Relics Ranked in Raid: Shadow Legends

The new Platinum Forge Pass has brought 8 new Forge Pass Event Relics with it. These Relic fragments will be periodically available from the Forge Pass (currently only for spending real money) and will be earnable from select events and tournaments in-game as well.

Here’s the full breakdown of each relic, as well as our thoughts and ratings for them.

What Are the Forge Pass Event Relics?

  • Set of 8 relics (2 Rare, 2 Epic, 2 Legendary, 2 Mythical).
  • Crafted using materials from the Forge Pass or from some Events and Tournaments.
  • Generally much stronger than Standard Relics.
  • Called Forge Pass Relics in the Event Relics tab.
  • Materials will likely only be available during some Forge Passes.
  • There are currently no ways to get the Mythical relic crafting fragments, but we expect this to change soon.

IS THE FORGE PASS WORTH IT?

As the main way to obtain these Relics, the big question on everyone’s mind is whether the Forge Pass Platinum tier is worth it or not?

For this first edition of the Platinum tier you will get:

  • 200 rare relic fragments
  • 200 epic relic fragments
  • 100 legendary relic fragments
  • 1000 starstone
  • Various gems and basalt

The big downside here is that there are no mythical relic fragments–and even the 100 legendary fragments will have a 60% chance to craft only an epic relic. This means you’re not guaranteed either a high quantity or quality of Forge Pass Relics.

That being said, for a new player (who does not have the ability to easily earn Relics from other content) this could be well worth the additional $30 over the regular Forge Pass and could springboard your progress in the game; for a long-term player though, this is definitely a luxury purchase.

NOTE: We expect later editions of the Forge Pass to improve, particularly due to the negative community sentiment around this first edition.

Rare Relics

Frostspawn Cocoon (Rare) – Defensive Relic

“Wearer is healed by 2% MAX HP when using their default attack.

  • Upgrades: 2% heal, scaling to 8% at max rank.
  • Stats: HP, DEF, RES.
  • Gemslots: Square.
  • Best Use: Solo, Counterattack, or ally attack-paired champions (e.g. the TMNT passives!)
  • Rating: 5/10 – Decent for a rare relic; could be very helpful for solo builds or early players keeping teams alive.

Pyros Malleos (Rare) – Damage Relic

“Wearer deals 2% more damage if all allies are alive.

  • Upgrades: 2% damage, scaling to 8% at max rank.
  • Stats: ATK, HP, C.DMG.
  • Gemslots: Triangle.
  • Best Use: Budget relic for any damage dealer.
  • Rating: 5/10A filler damage relic which is easy to use but weaker than higher rarity options.

Epic Relics

Andromeda’s Diadem (Epic) – Cooldown Reduction Relic

“Wearer has a 10% chance to reduce one skill’s cooldown by 1 turn whenever they heal an ally with an active skill.

  • Upgrades: 10% chance, scaling to 25% at max rank.
  • Stats: HP, DEF, SPD.
  • Gemslots: Circle, Diamond.
  • Best Use: A healer with frequent healing abilities, such as Godseeker Aniri or Donatello.
  • Rating: 5/10 – Only good on champions who heal very frequently (and doesn’t count passives), makes this very niche.

The Exile’s Crown (Epic) – Defensive Relic

“Wearer receives 1% less damage for each debuff on them.

  • Upgrades: 1% damage reduction, scaling to 5% at max rank.
  • Stats: RES, HP, DEF.
  • Gemslots: Square, Pentagon.
  • Best Use: Accessible RES stat-stick for any RES-building champions.
  • Rating: 5/10Counter-synergy between the RES main stat and the effect scaling from debuffs received (surely you build RES to avoid debuffs entirely??) makes this only OK. 50% damage reduction at max rank and at 10 debuffs is actually very strong but exceedingly unlikely to happen.

Legendary Relics

Bane of Sintranos (Legendary) – Buff-stealing Relic

“Wearer has a 15% chance to copy a buff for 2 turns whenever an enemy receives a buff. Occurs once per turn.

  • Upgrades: 15% chance, scaling to 30% max.
  • Stats: ACC, HP, DEF.
  • Gemslots: Pentagon, Circle, Diamond.
  • Best Use: A fast champion in arena, who can take lots of turns to reset the relic cooldown.
  • Rating: 7/10A very interesting Relic which needs more testing. The low chance is a big drawback, unless the enemy is buffing their whole team. Could copy Stoneskin and be amazing; or could copy something useless instead.

Blades of Akumori (Legendary) – Provoke Relic

“Wearer has a 15% chance to Provoke an enemy whenever they attack the wearer’s allies..

  • Upgrades: 15% chance, scaling to 30% max.
  • Stats: ACC, HP, DEF.
  • Gemslots: Diamond, Square, Square.
  • Best Use: Honestly, any champion for wave-based content–so long as they can take a hit! Very good on Provokers.
  • Rating: 9/10This is an incredible relic: consider multiple champions wearing this in Faction Wars Hard–you would be provoking the enemies almost every turn! Has incredible synergy with Provoke, but not other CC debuffs.

Mythical Relics

Dreadbomb (Mythical) – Damage Relic

“Wearer has a 10% chance to gain an Extra Turn when attacking, and ignores 10% DEF during Extra Turns.

  • Upgrades: 10% chance, scaling to 20% max.
  • Stats: C.DMG, SPD, ATK.
  • Gemslots: Triangle, Triangle, Triangle, Circle.
  • Best Use: The best damage dealer on your account, particularly arena damage dealers.
  • Rating: 10/10This is the best overall damage relic in the entire game. Great synergy with Merciless set or any champions who naturally take Extra Turns. C.DMG/SPD are ideal main/secondary stats. The only relic with three Triangle gemslots (the best overall damage gems); the only downside is losing out on stacking multiple Boss Slayer Circular gemstones.

Immortal Visage (Mythical) – Defensive Relic

“Revives the wearer with 50% HP and Turn Meter (once per Round).

  • Upgrades: 50% HP and Turn Meter, scaling up to 100%.
  • Stats: SPD, HP, DEF.
  • Gemslots: Square, Pentagon, Square, Circle.
  • Best Use: Very tanky arena champions, such as Marichka or Theodosia.
  • Rating: 10/10 – The best defensive Relic in the game for PvP content. Main stat SPD is by far the best main stat, coupled with a free revive that can bring you back at 100% Turn Meter?? And enemies will have no clue that you have this Relic equipped until in happens?!? Marichka just keeps on winning…

Final Verdict – Best Forge Pass Event Relics to Rank Up

🏆 Must-Have Relics:

  1. Dreadbomb (mythical): the best damage relic in the game.
  2. Immortal Visage (mythical): the best defensive relic in the game.
  3. Blades of Akumori (legendary): the best CC relic in the game.

✅ Solid Relics:

  1. Bane of Sintranos (legendary): could copy high-impact buffs, such as Block Debuffs.

⚠️ Situational Relics:

  1. Andromeda’s Diadem (epic): good effect, but few champions can trigger it reliably.
  2. The Exile’s Crown (epic): decent RES stat, but the effect doesn’t synergise with it.
  3. Frostspawn Cocoon (rare): a good budget defensive relic, particularly for champs who use lots of A1s.
  4. Pyros Malleos (rare): a good filler damage relic until you get higher rarities.

❌ Weak Relics:

  1. N/A

As an endgame free player, this is the first update in a while that had me saying “You’ve got to joking”. Obviously raid is pay to win, but these relics are insane. What on earth are you supposed to do against Immortal Visage? At least if the enemy has Cardinal or Marichka you know it’s coming and can play around it. Now we just get to worry about this bomb hiding in any arena team you face.
