Fresh Doom Tower Rotation Goes Live!
Today, we are getting our third Doom tower cycle – but what does this mean? Is anything going to change? For a start, it means another month of rewards! It’s time to start back at Floor 1 and climb your way through earning some nice rewards along the way, from potions, silver, gems and even void/sacred shards! For those of you who have been successful in clearing secret rooms and gathering fragments for both Archmage Helmut and Thea the Tomb Angel – this could well be the month that you get them, depending on how successful you’ve been in the last 2 resets.
When it comes to fragments, Plarium has confirmed that you will not gain excess fragments for these champions, so if you go into your last secret room at 99/100 fragments, you will indeed the final 1 fragment for the current champions (Thea the Tomb Angel – Hard + Archmage Helmut – Normal) and then receive your first 2 fragments for the next available champions (Gomlok Skyhide – Hard + Akoth the Seared – Normal)
What will happen in this cycle?
On the surface, nothing has changed this month – yet! The floor order will be exactly the same as the last 2 months, as well as the boss order, meaning you’ll have to face it in this order for both difficulties: Floor 10 – Kuldath the Magma Dragon Floor 20 – Agreth the Nether Spider
Floor 30 – Borgoth the Scarab King
Floor 40 – Sorath the Frost Spider
Floor 50 – Borgoth the Scarab King
Floor 60 – Agreth the Nether Spider
Floor 70 – Sorath the Frost Spider
Floor 80 – Kuldath the Magma Dragon Floor 90 – Agreth the Nether Spider
Floor 100 – Bogorth the Scarab King
Floor 110 – Kuldath the Magma Dragon
Floor 120 – Sorath the Frost Spider
This in a way is a good thing, for now – for a lot of people who are still progressing, as it means you are able to use the same strategies that you used this month, to repeat what you did before, however for those who are eager for new content to progress through this can be slightly irritating due to the intended month by month cycle, changing the rotation of the bosses, allowing us to face a new challenge at the peak of the tower! However, that challenge may still be there, yesterday (04/02/2021) Plarium announced that in this cycle they had made some of the bosses “less easy” with specific champions, but they did not comment further on this. So what to expect, nobody knows unfortunately until it goes live! The aim of this change is to make the bosses significantly more strategy-orientated and require some thought instead of being able to just blast through it.

Just like previous Cycles, these secret rooms can only be entered using silver keys, every time you complete a secret room for the first time, you will be getting 2x Silver Keys and 3x Champion Fragments as a reward, this will enable you to farm more of a boss stage for more crafting materials, and continue to collect champion fragments for the 3 epic, and 3 legendary champions available from Doom Tower!
