Guaranteed Legendary: Gracchos Turn-drake Event
Plarium has announced a surprise Deck of Fate event going live Monday, July 7, alongside the ongoing fusion. This event will offer fragments to summon a new legendary champion: Gracchos Turn-Drake, a Demonspawn HP-based support unit.
Let’s break down this event!
Who is Gracchos Turn-drake?

Faction: Demonspawn
Role: HP-based Support/Control
Aura: Increases HP in all battles
Skill Highlights:
A1 – Single-Target Ignore DEF + AoE Heal
- Hits one enemy, ignores 50% of DEF.
- Heals all allies under 50% HP by 10% of Gracchos Turn-Drake’s max HP.
A2 – AoE Double-Hit
- Each hit ignores 25% DEF on enemies under 50% HP.
- First hit: chance to place Decrease DEF.
- Second hit: chance to place Block Buffs (up to 100% when booked).
- Ignores RES if the target’s HP is below 50%.
This mechanic is conditional and unreliable unless you’re fighting something like Clan Boss or running a speed-tuned setup. It sounds great on paper, but in general, waves or PvP, most enemies begin with full health, making it hard to optimise. That said, Decrease DEF and Block Buffs are always useful.
A3 – Team Buffs
- Places Increase DEF (2 turns) and Block Damage (1 turn) on all allies.
- 3-turn cooldown. Excellent skill for content like Clan Boss, Hydra, Doom Tower, or Arena defense setups.
Passive – Dual Buff/Debuff Triggered Effect
- If an ally has more than 50% HP and is under a buff placed by Gracchos Turn-Drake → they deal 10% more damage.
- If an ally has less than 50% HP and is attacked by an enemy under Gracchos’ debuff → they take reduced damage.
This gives him both offensive and defensive value depending on your team’s status, and it synergizes well with his ability to apply both buffs and debuffs.
How to get Gracchos Turn-drake – Infernal Deck of Fate
You can earn 100 total fragments for Gracchos Turn-Drake from the event:
- 30 fragments from Epic cards
- 40 fragments from Rare cards
- 30 fragments from Common cards
Important Notes:
- You cannot “pin” cards in this version of Deck of Fate.
- The event runs for 96 hours only.
- Progress is tied to two sources: Summoning Souls (from Soulstones) and Farming Artifacts/Accessories
These are two of the most difficult methods to make Deck of Fate progress, especially without a champion training or summoning event attached.
Fusion Conflict and Farming Concerns
The timing of this Deck of Fate event is clearly designed to be punishing:
- There is no Dungeon Divers event during this period, which normally supports farming events.
- There is an Ice Golem tournament, which means high energy costs overlap with the fusion grind.
- Most players recently used up soulstone resources during the last 2x event, making Soul summoning impractical.
This creates a resource-heavy squeeze for players trying to go after both events.
Should You Go for Gracchos Turn-Drake?
Strengths:
- Excellent team-wide buffs and healing.
- Passive that adapts to both offensive and defensive states.
- Good synergy in Hydra, Doom Tower, and PvE content requiring survivability.
Weaknesses:
- A2 condition (low HP targets) makes it unreliable for consistent use.
- Deck of Fate acquisition method is time-consuming and expensive.
- Competes for resources with a better fusion event running at the same time.
Verdict: If you have to choose between this event and the fusion, the fusion offers more consistency and value. Gracchos Turn-Drake is a good legendary, but not a must-pull unless you have stockpiled soul stones or excess resources.
Absolute waste of time and resources
No
To make it more punishing, they dropped the points per soulstone from 90/900/4500 to 80/800/4000. Brutal.
