Haggibah the Nestmaid Fusion Review: Is She Worth Completing?

Every fusion sparks the same question: is this champion worth your time and resources?

Haggibah the Nestmaid is one of the more unusual fusions we’ve seen recently. Her kit revolves around Bomb debuffs, buff stealing, HP Burn activation, and a passive that punishes enemies for trying to control her. On paper, it sounds like she should excel in several areas of the game.

In reality, it’s a much more mixed picture.

After testing Haggibah across PvE and PvP, she has one standout role where she may actually be the best champion in RAID: Shadow Legends, but outside of that niche, it’s much harder to recommend investing heavily in her.

Before diving into Haggibah herself, there’s one important consideration for anyone planning to skip this fusion and redeem an older champion instead.

If you’re thinking about picking up Titus specifically for Chimera, it’s worth knowing that Plarium has stated they’re looking at adjusting Chimera so that completing Trials becomes more important than simply dealing massive damage.

Since Titus excels at raw damage rather than Trials, his long-term value for Chimera could change if those adjustments arrive later this year.

That doesn’t necessarily make Titus a bad choice, but it’s something to keep in mind before spending valuable Fusion Tokens.

Haggibah’s kit includes a little bit of everything:

• Steals all enemy buffs
• Places Bomb debuffs
• Instantly detonates Bombs
• Activates HP Burn damage
• Applies Leech
• Places HP Burn on her A1
• Gains Perfect Veil
• Passive Bomb generation whenever enemies attempt crowd control against her

The problem isn’t that these abilities are weak individually, the issue is that they don’t work together particularly well.

For example:

• She can activate HP Burns but only applies a single-target Burn herself.
• She gains Perfect Veil despite having little interaction with it elsewhere in her kit.
• Leech feels disconnected from everything else she does.

Outside of her Bomb mechanics, much of the kit feels like several separate ideas stitched together.

This is where everything changes.

Against Bommal the Dreadhorn, Haggibah is absolutely incredible.

Her passive states that whenever an enemy attempts to place effects like Stun, Freeze, Sleep, Provoke, Fear, True Fear, or Petrification, or skill cooldown increases on her, she immediately places a Bomb on that enemy.

Bommal constantly attempts to Stun champions whenever his Bomb debuffs explode, letting Haggibah use her teammates to funnel Stuns towards her. That means Haggibah repeatedly triggers her passive throughout the fight, stacking Bombs on Bommal without needing to take turns herself.

The result is remarkable.

Instead of struggling through one of Doom Tower’s most frustrating bosses, Haggibah can turn the encounter into one of the easiest fights in the game.

For players stuck on Bommal, she’s arguably the single best solution currently available.

If your goal is clearing Bommal, focus almost entirely on survivability.

Recommended priorities include:

• High HP
• Enough Accuracy to land Bombs
• Regeneration gear
• Immortal gear
• Sporeburst Rod relic if available

Interestingly, she doesn’t require huge Speed or Resistance for this role because she’s naturally immune to both Bomb damage and HP Burn damage.

Simply keeping her alive allows her passive to do most of the work.

If you have Brimstone available, it adds even more boss damage and speeds the fight up further.

There are some interesting ideas here.

Stealing all enemy buffs before placing Bombs sounds strong on paper, and her passive can punish teams that rely on crowd control.

Unfortunately, testing showed several problems:

• Bomb damage isn’t particularly high.
• Mercurial gear shuts down much of her effectiveness.
• Total Guard not only prevents Bombs being placed but it prevents them blowing up as well.
• She struggles to secure kills against well-built Arena teams.

Even with over 120,000 HP invested into maximizing Bomb damage, the results were underwhelming.

She can occasionally create interesting moments, but she’s unlikely to become a consistent Arena pick for most players.

Haggibah makes the most sense for two types of players.

Players Struggling With Bommal

If Bommal is currently blocking your Doom Tower progression, Haggibah is an easy recommendation.

She dramatically simplifies one of the game’s hardest bosses and could save countless failed attempts.

Early to Mid-Game Accounts

Players without access to strong HP Burn activators or Bomb champions may find some additional value in her toolkit.

She’s capable of filling several utility roles while helping expand your roster.

Final Thoughts

Haggibah feels like a champion with one exceptional specialty and a lot of average performance everywhere else.

Her strengths include:

• Possibly the best Bommal counter in the game.
• Useful HP Burn activation.
• Strong buff stealing.
• Solid survivability thanks to her passive immunities.

Her weaknesses are much harder to ignore:

• Limited synergy within her own kit.
• Underwhelming wave clear.
• Mediocre Arena performance.
• Outclassed in most PvE content by existing Legendary champions.

For players who need help defeating Bommal, Haggibah could easily be worth completing.

For everyone else, this is one of those fusions where spending Fusion Tokens on premium champions like Fabian or Gnut (if you don’t already own them) may provide significantly more long-term value for your account.
