Hoskarul Fusion Guide

You know the drill Raiders, Fusion time is upon us again…

This time we have the 2022 Filler Fusion Event, which slots in between November and the Christmas Fusion Event, this will be a Fragment Event, where you’ll need to collect fragments in order to fuse Hoskarul.

Hoskarul Skills

Hermit Cudgel:
Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 30% chance of placing a [Stun] debuff for 1 turn.
Lvl. 2 – Damage +5%
Lvl. 3 – Damage +5%
Lvl. 4 – Buff/ Debuff Chance +5%
Lvl. 5 – Buff/Debuff Chance +5%

Sustained Beating – Cooldown: 4 Turns
Attacks all enemies. Has a 50% chance of placing a [Stun] debuff for 1 turn. Decreases the Turn Meters of enemies under [Stun] debuffs by 15%.
Lvl. 2 – Damage +10%
Lvl. 3 – Buff/Debuff Chance +25%
Lvl. 4 – Cooldown -1

Unfaze – Cooldown: 6 Turns
Removes all [Stun] debuffs from all allies, then places a 60% [Increase DEF] buff and a 25% [Increase RES] buff on all allies for 2 turns.
Lvl. 2 – Cooldown -1
Lvl. 3 – Cooldown -1

Finish the Foe – Passive
Immune to [Stun] debuffs.
Increases the damage inflicted by all allies by 15% when attacking enemies under [Stun] debuffs.

Aura
Increases Ally DEF in Faction Crypts by 30%.

Is Hoskarul worth going for?

We usually recommend going for each and every fusion, however – with this one being an Epic Champion and so soon after the November fusion, and with the upcoming Christmas Fusion, you may opt to hold out on this one since he will be much more obtainable through shards – purely based on resource preservation.

If you ever wanted a champion that could Stun, Hoskarul is first pick in your roster. His kit revolves completely around the Stun debuff by placing on an Area of Effect attack on the A2 but also cleansing any stun debuffs on your team. His passive also makes him immune to any Stun debuff creating some interesting counters to any Astralon or Basileus Roanas opponent in the arena or to help you climb to the highest tiers of the Doom Tower where Control debuffs are essential (if you don’t have the ability to 1 shot the waves).

His passive is also unique in that any Stunned enemy will take 15% more damage from your entire team, paired with the Opportunist mastery your champions can end up dealing an extra 27% more damage on hit. Truly a powerful passive paired with his immunity.

All Tournament/Event Points are calculated based on a MAX LEVEL account. These points may vary depending on your account progression and you may require significantly fewer points than displayed in our guide.

Day 1

New Events:
Champion Training Event – 5/15 (20) Fragments – 2550/ 5350 Points
Dungeon Divers Event – 5/15 (20) Fragments – 1200/2850 Points

The point requirement for this Training Event is relatively low for a Fusion but still needs pushing for.

Make sure you are also levelling your chickens BEFORE feeding them to get the extra points, you can do this easily by just throwing a few brews into the 4*/5* chickens before you use them as food, it will really help you gain your points to make this doable.

Take this time to level up all of your food and 6-star some of the champions you’ve wanted to for a while!

As for the Dungeon Divers Event, we highly recommend holding off on this till tomorrow, for the Spider Tournament that will be active, although you may opt to use some energy in the campaign today for the Training Event.

Day 2

New Events:
Spider Tournament – 15 Fragments – 1800 Points

This Spider Tournament point requirement is lower than typical Fusions, with only 1800 compared to the usual 2250 Point requirement, this will only take around 1800 energy of stage 25, and will double dip into the active Dungeon Divers Event also.

Day 3

New Events:
Classic Arena Takedown – 10 Fragments – 390 Points
Artifact Enhancement Event – 20 Fragments – 1500/4000 Points

To get this event’s Fragments, you’ll require 4000 points in the artifact enhancement event – there are some great methods for doing this easily, to save as much silver as possible.

1. If you pre-rolled your gear to level 7/11/15 before the event, you can go ahead and burn through your silver taking these up by 1 level each to gain quick easy points.

2. The other really good option for these events is doing a good old gear clear-out, rolling things that you might want to keep up to see how the stats play out, selling things that you won’t want to keep, a great guide for this is here.

For the Arena Takedown, Continue to use all daily battles, but keep an eye on the points, you may need to gem 1 or 2 refills to reach the points that you need depending on your arena tier/win rate. Of course, always aim to win as many fights as you can, don’t waste tokens for fights that you’re not sure of.

Day 5

New Events:
Dragon Tournament – 15 Fragments (+5 for 1st or 2nd place) – 1800 Points

The next dungeon is up and requires you to raid the Dragon’s Lair. At 1800 points, its reasonably achievable similar to spider and you can double dip with some champion training if you run a solo champ in there also (there is a Legendary Book in the champion training tournament for 8000 points). You will need around 100 runs of Stage 20+ to reach 1800 so plan to use around 1600-2000 energy (depending on which stage you run).

IMPORTANT: Tomorrow there will be a dungeon divers which will be the final place to earn fragments for Hoskarul. You should avoid running dragon today and wait for tomorrow to be efficient unless you have decided to skip the dungeon divers (You can skip 1 event this fusion). Considering using your energy on training tournament or save the energy up and use it all tomorrow!!
