Masahiro the Bell Monk Fusion Announcement

Masahiro the Bell Monk is set to arrive as part of a Champion Fragment Event starting May 7th, giving players the chance to add a long-awaited Shadowkin Legendary reviver to their roster.

  • Fusion Type: Champion Fragment Event
  • Faction: Shadowkin
  • Rarity: Legendary
  • Type: HP
  • Affinity: Force

Masahiro fills a major gap in the Shadowkin faction, bringing a team revival, strong defensive utility, and some surprisingly impactful debuff control. He’s clearly designed with PvP in mind, but also brings solid value to Hydra and faction-restricted PvE content.

What makes him stand out is his hybrid role — combining revive, cleanse-like debuff transfer, healing, and damage mitigation into one kit. On top of that, he introduces useful control tools like Block Buffs, Decrease SPD (for bosses), and Stun, making him more than just a passive support.

Skill Breakdown

Ring of Dissonance

A simple but effective AoE attack that places a 30% Decrease C.Rate debuff. While not game-changing, this adds another layer of survivability by reducing incoming damage consistency from enemies, especially in longer fights.

Redemptive Fervor (Cooldown: 4 turns → 3 when booked)

This is where Masahiro starts to shine. Before attacking, he has a high chance to transfer all debuffs from your team onto a single enemy, functioning similarly to a cleanse — but with added offensive value.

On top of that, he:

  • Heals all allies based on his MAX HP
  • Applies a Strengthen buff

This makes it a powerful recovery + stabilisation tool, especially after your team has been hit with heavy debuffs.

Humble Savior (Cooldown: 5 turns → 4 when booked)

The centerpiece of his kit.

Revives all allies with 50% HP and 50% Turn Meter. Can be used even if no one is dead (important for timing)

Applies:

This makes him extremely versatile. He’s not just reviving — he’s actively swinging momentum back in your favor with crowd control and debuff pressure.

For My Sins (Passive)

A very strong passive that builds value over time:

Allies take 1% less damage per turn (up to 15%), rewarding longer fights
Revived allies gain temporary immunity to most forms of crowd control until their next turn

This is huge for PvP, preventing revived champions from being instantly locked down again. It also adds consistency in PvE where control effects can otherwise shut your team down.

Aura

Increases Force Ally SPD by 25% in all battles

A niche but interesting Aura that could enable creative team compositions, especially in Siege or faction-focused builds.

Thoughts on the Fusion

Masahiro looks like a very solid and much-needed addition to the Shadowkin faction. Until now, the faction has lacked a reliable, high-impact reviver — and this champion brings that while offering far more than just a revive.

His kit covers multiple key roles:

  • Reviver
  • Healer
  • Debuff management (transfer/cleanse-like effect)
  • Damage mitigation
  • Crowd control and utility

From a PvP perspective, he’s clearly designed for longer, grindy fights, where his passive damage reduction stacks up and his revive protection becomes crucial. The ability to transfer all debuffs and immediately stabilize your team with healing + Strengthen is a major swing mechanic.

In PvE, he has strong potential in:

The only real downside is that his kit leans more toward defensive playstyles, so he may not fit fast farming or speed-clear teams. However, for progression, PvP, and endurance-based content, he offers a huge amount of value.

Overall, this looks like a high-value fusion, especially for players lacking a strong reviver or looking to strengthen their Shadowkin roster.
