May brings 6 new Champions to RAID

The latest RAID: Shadow Legends test server build has added six new champions, led by the Mythical Dwarf Cinda Forgeheart. This batch brings heavy damage, turn meter control, Hydra tools, PvP counters, and one May Fusion champion.

The standouts are clear. Tekteon Fissureflesh looks like the most dangerous PvP threat. Sydax King-killer looks like a top PvE generalist. Grugtha Darkseer brings huge wave damage for the Ogryn Tribes.

Cinda Forgeheart Base Form

Cinda_form1

Cinda Forgeheart starts in a single-target damage form built around Magma Shield. Her base kit hits hard, ignores DEF, and gains extra power each time she has a Magma Shield active.

Her A1 attacks twice and can splash surplus damage to all enemies after killing the first target. That gives her strong wave clear potential, mainly with ally attack setups. Her A2 is another double hit that ignores more DEF under Magma Shield and deals double damage against targets under Shield buffs. Her A3 hits twice again, ignores Unkillable and Block Damage under Magma Shield, then can place Magma Shield on the full team and grant an Extra Turn after a kill.

Her passive gives her Magma Shield at the start of each round and after revival. It also reduces damage taken under Magma Shield and heals her when that shield expires or breaks. This base form looks aimed at burst damage, wave content, and PvP kill chains.

Cinda Forgeheart Alternate Form

Cinda_form2

Cinda’s alternate form shifts her into a burn-based AoE attacker. This side of her kit needs Accuracy, since it brings HP Burn, Decrease DEF, and Decrease ATK.

Her A1 can become AoE under Magma Shield and places Decrease ATK. Her A2 attacks all enemies twice, lowers enemy DEF in stacks, then deals extra pure damage based on the turns left on HP Burn debuffs. Her A3 places HP Burn on all enemies, activates one tick of all HP Burns, ignores DEF, and places Decrease DEF.

Her passive adds more Magma Shield value. When hit by an enemy under HP Burn, she places Magma Shield on herself. It also makes HP Burn damage ignore Block Damage and Unkillable, then boosts team damage against burned enemies by 15%.

This form looks better for PvE fights with several enemies. Hydra, Spider, wave content, and burn teams stand out. The main question is build direction. Her base form wants damage first. Her alternate form wants Accuracy too.

Masahiro the Bell Monk (May Fusion)

Mashahiro

Masahiro the Bell Monk is the May Fusion champion. He is a Force Legendary HP champion with strong base stats and a 25% Force Ally SPD aura for all battles.

His A1 attacks all enemies and can place Decrease C. RATE. His A2 attacks one enemy, transfers all debuffs from allies to that target, heals allies by 25% of his MAX HP, and places Strengthen on the team. His A3 revives all dead allies with 50% HP and 50% Turn Meter, then attacks all enemies with control debuffs. Boss targets get Decrease SPD and Block Buffs instead.

His passive gives allies stacking damage reduction as turns pass. It also makes revives grant immunity to Stun, Freeze, Sleep, Provoke, Fear, True Fear, and Petrification until the start of their turn.

Masahiro looks like a bulky support fusion with cleanse, healing, revival, Strengthen, and team protection. He should help accounts that need a stable reviver for progression.

Pelagus the Wavewalker

Pelagus

Pelagus the Wavewalker is a Spirit Legendary Support champion from the Argonites. He has 115 base SPD and a 28% Ally SPD aura for Arena battles.

His A1 hits three times, steals Turn Meter, then fills ally Turn Meters by the stolen amount. His A2 removes all buffs from all enemies, then places Decrease SPD and Weaken. His A3 targets one enemy with Block Passive Skills and Enfeeble, then steals all of that target’s Turn Meter.

His passive places an irresistible Ensnare on the enemy with the lowest Turn Meter at the end of his turn. It also fills his Turn Meter when enemies gain Turn Meter from skills.

Pelagus looks like a niche PvP control champion. He has tools to shut down solo threats, disable passives, and stop Turn Meter gain. He may not be a universal Arena pick, but he brings rare answers to problem champions.

Tekteon Fissureflesh

Tekteon

Tekteon Fissureflesh looks like the scariest champion in this batch. He is a Void Legendary HP champion from the Argonites with an Ally HP aura of 33% in all battles.

His A1 attacks all enemies twice and can Stun. His A2 attacks all enemies twice, places Shatter on himself before attacking, ignores Shield, Strengthen, and Increase DEF, then increases enemy skill cooldowns by 2 turns on each hit. His A3 places Taunt and Poison Cloud on himself, places a protected Shield on all allies, then grants an Extra Turn.

His passive gives him Poison Cloud at the start of each round, cuts critical hit damage by 50%, and increases his MAX HP every time enemies hit him. Weak hits raise it faster, and Poison Cloud forces most enemies to land weak hits.

Tekteon could become a major PvP problem. He forces attacks into himself, grows his HP, protects the team, controls cooldowns, and resists burst damage. Buff removal that does not hit him will be key.

Grugtha Darkseer

grugtha

Grugtha Darkseer is a Magic Legendary Attack champion from the Ogryn Tribes. She has an Ally ATK aura of 30% in all battles.

Her A1 attacks all enemies and adds an extra hit against targets with ATK lower than or equal to hers. Her A2 equalizes all enemy HP before attacking, then gains ignore DEF or an extra hit based on the enemy team’s average HP. It also increases her ATK for each enemy killed by the skill. Her A3 attacks all enemies twice, places Increase C. DMG and Shatter on herself, lowers enemy DEF in stacks, destroys MAX HP, and grants an Extra Turn after a kill.

Her passive rewards critical hits with healing. At full HP, those critical hits fill her Turn Meter instead. Surplus healing becomes a Shield.

Grugtha looks like a wave-clear monster. Doom Tower, Cursed City, Faction Wars, Grim Forest, and dungeon waves suit her well. Hydra looks less clean, since her self-buffs may draw Mischief attention.

Sydax King-killer

Sydax

Sydax King-killer is a Spirit Legendary Defense champion from the Dark Elves. He brings a 30% Ally DEF aura in all battles.

His A1 places Decrease ATK and Pain Link. His A2 attacks all enemies twice, places Decrease DEF and Decrease SPD, then scales from DEF and enemy MAX HP. His A3 places Increase DEF, Increase SPD, and Ally Protection on the team. His passive reduces damage taken for each ally under Ally Protection, then makes him immune to Pain Link and Reflect Damage.

Sydax looks like one of the strongest PvE champions in this group. He brings damage, protection, key debuffs, Speed control, and team buffs in one kit. He should fit bosses, waves, and progression teams with ease.
