Primal Shard 2x Event

It’s back Primal Shards have a 2x chance again but NOT for mythical champions…

There is also some progressive chance events if you do happen to have any shards and are feeling lucky. This is a good way to get increased odds on the champions that you select. You are not guaranteed anything and the rates won’t be any higher but your chance to get the desired champion increases if you do pull gold.

Plarium Announcement

Hey y’all! This Friday, January 31st, we’re planning to launch two events simultaneously

  1. We’re planning to launch x2 event to summon Epic and Legendary Champions from Primal Shards
  2. And also, we’re planning to launch Progressive Chance Event, giving you at least x15 chance to summon the Champions of your choice from the selected pool from Ancient, Primal, Sacred, and Void Shards:

1 Slot Legendary Champions:

1 Slot Epic Champions:

Both events will last 72 hours.

What is a Progressive Summon Event?

Unlike x2 events, where the odds of pulling a specific rarity is increased, progressive summons increase the chance that should you pull the higher rarity i.e. Legendary then you have an increased chance of earning the selected champion. If you pull the rarity then the chances increase when you pull the rarity again. The way it works is quite simple:

When you summon a champion, there is a 1 / total possible champions in that rarity. When you take part in a progressive summon, the total possible champions is increased by 14 for the champion you selected and you instead gain a 15 / total possible champions in that rarity + 14. This means the chances of acquiring the 1 champion that you select increases.

To get started, you select 1 champion from the list of available options per rarity and per shard. You will increase the odds by x15. Once you pull the rarity the odds increase to x20 and finally if you pull the rarity a second time it increases to a x25. Naturally, if you go 2 legendary deep then the chances of pulling your desired legendary on the third pull is the best outside of guaranteed summon events.

Who should you choose?

You can only select 1 champion of each rarity per shard so making the right choice is important. Fortunately, you can change your choice at any point during the summon event. Your choice will depend on who is already in your roster and what gaps you are looking to fill. We believe the options below are the best for most accounts as these champions provide the best overall power.

Legendary Champions

Arnorn the Shining Portrait

Arnorn the Shining

Caoilte inflicts single target and AOE attacks and has a passive to counter Turn Meter reduction while boosting the damage of his next attack. His AOE [A3] heals him and fills his Turn Meter by up to 50% for each critical hit, and if he kills an enemy, he protects himself with an Unkillable buff. This helps keep Caoilte cycle round to his next turn, while the Unkillable ensures his survival to unleash his next attack. His Falling Leaves [A2] is a double-hitting attack, and if it kills the target, he will also attack the enemy with the lowest HP. Since this ability ignore 50% of Defence and bypasses Unkillable and Block Damage buffs, it’s a great counter to champions like Odin or Leorius.

Arnorn’s true potential, however, lies in his passive, which boosts his ATK by 5% per enemy buff, stacking up to 100%. This makes him incredibly effective against buff heavy teams in Arena or in PVE content like Sintranos, where enemies often load up on buffs. If a target tries to take him down, Arnorn prevents his own death [P], places Stone Skin on himself, and immediately activates his A3, setting up a powerful counter. Lastly, his A1 provides Crowd Control by placing Stun, while his damage scales up based on the buffs present on his target, making him even stronger against buffed enemies.

Epic Champions

Akemtum

Geomancer is one of the most sought after and widely used Epic champions, thanks to his unique passive that reflects massive damage back to bosses, paired with a solid overall kit. His A3 can steal Turn Meter, making it incredibly powerful against bosses like Fire Knight and Spider, while also applying HP Burn and Weaken. The HP Burn enables his passive, which not only reduces the damage allies take by 15% from affected enemies, but also reflects damage back, with a 30% chance of dealing additional damage equal to 3% of their Max HP. From Iron Twins to Bommal, Hydra, and Nether Spider, Geomancer shines in countless boss encounters. Additionally, his A1 applies Decrease Accuracy, and his A2 removes buffs, making him great to remove buffs from Hydra heads or the Clan Boss’s Increase Attack, as examples.

Poisons are the name of the game with Akemtum who attacks 3 times on the A1 with a 50% chance of placing a Poison debuff. What makes Akemtum unique is his ability to place and interact with Hex debuff. His A2 attacks all enemies 3 times (double triple hit making Giant Slayer a great mastery choice), with each hit having a chance to either increase the duration of Hex or instead place it for 2 turns. When Akemtum then attacks a Hex target with his A1, each hit will have a chance to spread 1 random debuff to all enemies. This combination makes him a powerful debuffer and one of the few viable debuff spread options. It doesn’t end there with Akemtum, who brings a unique passive that causes a poison debuff to also damage any enemy under a Hex debuff. The passive could potentially be meta defining in some dungeon teams.

Damn, wanted to go for Trunda, but she has been replaced in the actual lineup by Othorion.
