RAID: Shadow Legends Update 10.80.0

Update 10.80.0 is now live, bringing long-awaited changes to Classic Arena's Platinum Tier, major quality-of-life upgrades to the Tavern and Soul Collection, and a host of fixes and performance improvements across the game. This patch also includes a full rebalance for Togron the Conjoined and Fjorad Wolfheart, alongside dozens of bug resolutions that polish the overall experience.

Classic Arena Platinum Tier Cutoff Reset

For the first time since RAID's launch, the Platinum Arena cutoff reset has been adjusted. The new cutoff now occurs Sundays at 21:00 UTC, ending point accumulation and rank changes twelve hours earlier than before. After this cutoff, players can still participate in Arena Battles to earn Medals and Magisteel, but won't be able to gain points, move up the Platinum leaderboard, or advance from Gold V to Platinum until the full weekly reset at Monday 08:00 UTC.

This change addresses long-standing concerns over the previous reset time, which heavily favored certain regions and time zones. The new cutoff provides a more balanced opportunity for players worldwide to compete for top ranks without staying up through inconvenient hours.

Instant Brew Upgrade in the Tavern

Brew System

The Tavern has received a major upgrade with the new Instant Brew Upgrade system. Players can now level up multiple Champions simultaneously using XP Brews via a new Brew Upgrade button in the Upgrade Level tab.

Within this interface, you can select multiple Champions, choose a single type of XP Brew, and decide how many to use per Champion—or simply select MAX to fully level them. This streamlines one of the most time-consuming parts of champion management, especially during Champion Training events and tournaments.

For efficiency, it's best to filter by Affinity before using this feature, as the game doesn't differentiate between different brew types when mixed. Overall, this update drastically reduces time spent in the Tavern and rewards strategic resource management for both new and veteran players.

Aura Skill UX Improvements

Small but meaningful interface updates have been made to Aura Skill selection. When setting a Champion as the leader in pre-battle screens, clear text now indicates which Champion is providing the Aura effect. This ensures players can easily identify their active Aura before starting a battle—particularly helpful for newer players learning how leadership positions function.

Soul Collection Improvements

Soul System

Managing Souls in the Altar of Souls has also been refined. A new Select All button allows players to highlight and sell multiple Souls at once after filtering by rarity or star level. This significantly reduces the time required to clear out low-value Souls and duplicate collections. A confirmation warning appears before selling high-value Souls, protecting players from accidental loss of key resources.

Champion Rebalance – Togron the Conjoined

Togron has been completely reworked into a stronger hybrid support capable of healing, cleansing, and amplifying ally damage.

  • Mash and Mangle now has a 70% chance to apply [Buff Spread], extending valuable buffs to the team.
  • Grub's Up! now places 15% [Continuous Heal] and [Block Debuffs] on all allies for 2 turns, regardless of their current HP.
  • Brothers' Generosity has been restructured to remove debuffs first, then increase Turn Meters by 20% plus an additional 2% for every debuff removed. It still provides [Increase ACC] for 2 turns.
  • Fill Your Bellies (Passive) now increases ally damage by 10–20% depending on HP difference, while still boosting MAX HP for the team based on skill usage.

These changes make Togron far more consistent as a team buffer and cleanser, improving his value in dungeons and PvP.

Champion Rebalance – Fjorad Wolfheart

Fjorad's adjustments aim to make him more dangerous and reliable, especially against the Gaellen Pact faction.

  • His base SPD has been increased from 100 to 105.
  • Both Bite of the Wolf and Wolfheart's Rage now place unresistable [Freeze] debuffs on Gaellen Pact enemies, with the latter also reducing Turn Meter by 30–50%.
  • His passive Best Served Cold now triggers when Fjorad or any ally receives a debuff, granting him much broader control potential.
  • Alternate form skills now ignore DEF and [Block Damage] effects under Freeze, while Disciple of Tormin adds a teamwide [Freeze] effect when killing a frozen enemy.
  • Frosty Resolve gains a new trigger to Freeze all enemies when an ally dies, which cannot be resisted by Gaellen Pact foes.

These improvements increase Fjorad's damage and control potential, especially in faction-based matchups.

Additional Fixes and Improvements

This update includes dozens of technical fixes and optimizations across multiple systems. Highlights include:

  • A prompt now appears when attempting to start a Dungeon Super Raid without enough Energy.
  • Rewards have been updated to align with free Gear removal.
  • Numerous visual and UI issues have been resolved, including red dot notifications, overlapping icons, and delayed Champion windows.
  • Several Champion abilities—such as those of Riho Bonespear, Minaya, and Sulfuryion—have been corrected to trigger as intended.
  • Stability and display fixes were implemented for multi-battles, device-specific interfaces, and Faction Wars visuals.

These corrections collectively deliver a smoother, more stable gameplay experience, reducing long-standing interface issues and misfiring skill bugs.
