RAID Weekly Recap 7

Welcome to our seventh Raid Weekly Recap – Where we will break down all of the happenings in RAID: Shadow Legends from this week!

RAID Shadow Legends has a big week to start 2024 with the announcement of patch 8.10! There will be 2 new resources coming to the game, Chaos Dust and Chaos Powder, which will be used to reroll an item’s ascension. 

This is Plarium trying to address an issue where players can sometimes feel like one of their favorite items has “bricked”, as in it rolled really bad in the ascension phase, and could now be worse than a lesser item that does ascend well.

Chaos Dust will drop in the final Stage 25 of The Sand Devil’s Necropolis, and Chaos Powder will drop in the final Stage 25 of The Phantom Shogun’s Grove. Plarium also confirmed that both of these new resources will show up as rewards sometimes in Events, Tournaments, and other areas.

On the official RAID Shadow Legends YouTube Channel, we saw a video a while back that there will be a “New Free Legendary” coming in January of 2024. We should get wind of exactly what this will be within the next week or 2. Plarium has typically done a pretty good job with these champions, as they are usually a big help to newer players, while also being viable all the way through at least mid-game for at least some areas of the game. Ninja, Ultimate Deathknight, and Sun Wukong are just some of the examples of very good free login champions.

With the announcement of needing to farm the final stages of the Gear Ascension dungeons, now is a great time to start trying to see what strategies will be available for your account to tackle these stages when you’re ready.

In a Discord message on RAID’s Official Discord server, it was announced that there was a bug happening with Gnut’s A3 and the Cruelty Blessing. This should be fixed now and Gnut should be performing properly with all Blessings.

There will be no Clan vs Clan match this week. The next time that a match will take place if Plarium sticks to the normal schedule, will be Tuesday, January 16th, and will NOT feature personal rewards. We have a Clan vs Clan Calculator tool if you would like to plan for your next match!
