Guurda Bogbrew Overview

Guurda is a free legendary poisoner who brings team cleansing, Turn Meter control, and strong Poison application, offering niche value in Poison Explosion teams, dungeons, and select control focused setups despite competition for team slots.

At a recent family reunion, War mother accused Guurda of ignoring her responsibilities in Teleria and sitting on the side-lines whilst she tried in vain to make Bombs useful. Guurda Bogbrew is a free daily log in Legendary champion from the Ogryn Tribes Faction.

A problem many players encounter when receiving Guurda is when we get her in the game, making it hard to justify altering their compositions simply for her to fit in. That being said she grants a unique skill set in the way she manipulates Turn Meter, whilst being a great all round poisoner. With the Hemlock Surprise (A3), she not only removes a random buff from enemies, but also 2 random debuffs from your allies, whilst placing two 5% Poison Debuffs on all enemies. The synergy of this skill works perfectly for Poison Explosion teams where she can practically solo the Dragon or Ice Golem in regeneration gear, or simply for the Arena to cleanse your allies if having the luxury of pulling her early.

If utilising Guurda’s passive to your advantage it can have great value, granting a 3% Turn Meter reduction when enemies receive any Debuffs. This skill not only has an interesting synergy with Kalvalax & Nobel to crowd control in Arena, but can be universally used to help control encounters such as the Fire Knight if using teams with multiple Debuffs. The Rotlimb Decoction (A2) is quirky with its mechanics, granting a 100% chance to place a 25% Weaken Debuff, however after attacking will place two non-resistible poisons if the weaken isn’t placed. Although most players will focus using the weaken, in the niche scenario of using a high star Lethal Dose blessing could form an interesting synergy for the Arena against high resist targets.

Arena Roles

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
