Legate Teox Overview

Rising from the ancient and powerful Lizardmen Faction, Legate Teox is a legendary champion who embodies the strength and unity of his team. Known for his devastating damage and protective synergy, his fellow lizards can always count on being safe around him.

Legate Teox excels with a Debuffer by his side, as Debuffs on enemies will enable his extra hits & turns, and increases the value of his skills. Pairing him with up to three allies from the Lizardmen faction unlocks bonus effects that enhances his power, reduces the damage allies receive, and grants immunity to Sheep when the full bonus is activated. The Draconic Retribution [A2] is a deadly triple-hit attack that ignores up to 50% Defence, with each hit increasing his Attack by up to 50%, and granting an extra turn upon killing the target. This ability is powerful for cycling through his other skills for additional damage, such as his A3, which places an Increase Attack and Crit Damage buff on himself, and places an extra hit against Debuffed enemies.

If you form a team around his unity, with options like Krisk and Vergumkaar, you can block enemy revives, ignore various forms of their protection, and increase his damage to ensure they stay down [A3]. Granting full immunity to Sheep/Polymorph will be powerful for Arena, while the damage reduction mitigates the risk of dying [P]. Lastly, Legate teams up with your highest C.DMG ally to attack an enemy [A1], and if the target is Debuffed, this damage can scale up to 100%. This ability is not only great for Arena but also for Hydra, enabling insane damage on decapitated heads without relying on active skills. Additionally, he can fill his Turn Meter each time an enemy or ally receives a Debuff, giving him more opportunities to attack.

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
