Mad Hatter Overview

It’s Time for Tea! A wave of madness has swept through the kingdom of Teleria, and at its core is the Mad Hatter. For years, he has evaded the wrath of the Queen of Hearts, hosting his tea parties in secret. But now, with a concoction of the most foul and powerful potion ever brewed, he feels ready to face her once and for all. The Mad Hatter emerges from the Knights Revenant Faction as the hybrid fusion champion of January 2025.

The Mad Hatter certainly has a few tricks up his sleeve, wielding the power to strike fear into anyone daring to take turns! His A2 attacks all enemies, applying Hex and Weaken, while also calling the ally with the highest C.DMG to join the attack. This creates a powerful synergy in content like Hydra, applying key debuffs while amplifying the damage output of your primary damage dealer. With the ally’s damage increasing by 10% for each debuff on the target, this skill is also effective against various bosses. On the support side, his passive heals allies by 20% for every 10 turns your team takes and places True Fear on enemies for every 6 turns they take. This combination ensures team sustain while disrupting enemy turn cycles with crowd control.

A Whiff of Madness is in the air… With his A3, the Mad Hatter increases the duration of all ally buffs, decreases the duration of their debuffs, and provides a 20% team wide Turn Meter fill. This skill is excellent for keeping buffs active longer, reducing the duration of negative effects, and cycling turns faster. Lastly, his A1 allows him to steal random buffs, making him a great counter for encounters like The Head of Wrath by removing their positive effects, while spreading a random debuffs to enemies under Hex.

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
