Starsage Galathir Overview
This elven mage has an eternal bond with light & darkness, and at the moment of an eclipse, he absorbs starlight’s to vanquish his foe with a solar Beam. Starsage Galathir is a Mythical Support champion residing from the High Elves Faction.
Base Form
An astral storm is coming, as this ancestor of Kael reunites with the elven army once more. As a mythical champion, Starsage can Metamorph to utilise multiple sets of skills, and starting with the base form it’s revolved around strong support & revivals. Opening with the Stellar Embryo [A2], he will remove all debuffs from allies, then heals them by 25% of his MAX HP, followed by filling their Turn Meters & placing a Block Debuffs buff. The value of this skill is universal, whether that be to counter debuffs in the Arena, or simply for facing the Dragon, if you need a strong cleanse Starsage has you covered. When considering a revival option, an AOE variation is always desired, therefore utilising his A3 that also places Perfect Veils adds an extra layer of protection to mitigate incoming damage. One of the most unique elements of this form is the passive, where he reduces his damage received for every 100 RES [stacks up to 25%], followed by preventing his death upon fatal hits, then equalizes their HP to stay alive. Unlike many revivers, having a form of self protection can greater your chance at victory’s in tough match ups.
Alternate Form
In his starlight form he becomes a crowd controlling menace, coinciding with an Increase Accuracy & Decrease Resistance combination. Having a form of manipulating these stats can carry you against Doom Tower bosses, The Hydra Boss or simply the Arena [as examples] to assist in debuffing enemies you may have struggled with prior. While in this form, you can also place Stun & Block Active Skills debuffs on enemies, followed by removing buffs from them. This synergy is like the control variation of Madame Serris, and with the constant cycle of lock outs, it will become tedious for your opposition to take effective turns. Sometimes it may be hard to index Accuracy & Resistance in to a champion, however his passive solves this issue. Starsage will increase his accuracy according to 75% of his Resistance when placing Debuffs, followed by transferring Debuffs back to enemies with higher Accuracy than his Resistance. This will allow him to counter champions such as Tormin locking him out, whilst having an easier time controlling enemies himself. Last but not least, his A1 is an opposing reflection of his base forms, as he will Turn Meter control those enemies by 10% [5% extra if they’re under certain conditions].
