Strategos Islin Fusion Type: Fragment

Islin is a Fragment Collector Fusion, which means unlike a Traditional Fusion, we don’t need to collect any other Champions to fuse Strategos Islin, instead, we will be collecting Fragments by completing Fusion Events and Tournaments.

Once you’ve completed enough Events/Tournaments to earn yourself 100 Fragments, you may summon Islin.

One of the best parts about Fragment Collectors is there is no time limit on actually summoning Strategos Islin, with him staying in the Fragment portal for as long as you want him to, allowing you to hold on to his points for a future Champion Chase Tournament or Clan vs Clan Event for points!

Initial thoughts on Strategos Islin

Strategos possesses a range of abilities that centre predominantly around safeguarding his teammates through potent protective measures. Additionally, he excels in the manipulation of speed and the art of inciting enemies. He initiates combat with “Hindrance”, an attack directed at all adversaries. Prior to launching this assault, he diminishes the duration of enemy buffs by one turn. Subsequently, he imposes a 30% reduction in speed upon all foes. While the versatility of this skill is universally applicable, certain notable scenarios include its effectiveness against the Hydra, where control over speed and buffs is crucial, and when countering passive Turn Meter boosts from opponents like the Iron Twins Fortress. Transitioning to his A1 skill, this champion also holds the capability to provoke individual targets. Consequently, managing enemies with unique mechanics such as the Head Of Decay or Magma Dragon becomes paramount. Naturally, these proficiencies prove invaluable during the progression of Faction Wars.

For those in search of a robust protective option, Strategos emerges as the solution. The linchpin here is his “Flawless Strategem”, which bestows a 50% Ally Protection upon all comrades except himself. Moreover, he imparts a 60% increase in defence across all allies, coupled with the placement of a counterattack and shield on himself. These formidable enhancements not only serve to safeguard your team but also open avenues for utilizing this champion as a stalwart tank, marked by the supplementary buffs on himself that provoke adversaries to target him. This ability synergizes with a distinctive passive, whereby he heals himself by 1% for every 500 points of defence he possesses—a facet crucial to his own survival. Furthermore, he bestows a healing effect amounting to 30% of the initial heal upon allies under Ally Protection, thereby allowing your team to benefit from the damage he absorbs. Lastly, Strategos boasts a 60-point Accuracy aura applicable in all battles, offering its utmost value in scenarios that demand heightened accuracy.

Strategos Islin Fusion

Is Strategos Islin worth going for?

We always recommend going for every Fusion if you have the resources to do so.

A clear-cut reason to go for Islin however, will be how valuable he can be in Hydra Clan Boss, especially if you’re short on options, having somebody who can reliably Provoke the Head of Decay whilst also bringing other utility to your run is massive (Decrease SPD!), especially as he can also double as a Head of Mischief tank due to his extra self-buffs.

Strategos Islin is an ideal pick-up for anybody who is not already 1-keying all Hydra Difficulties, as he will help a ton, but you may also gain value from him in other areas of course.

Strategos Islin Fusion Events

As part of Strategos Islin’s Fusion, we will have two Summon Events within the Fusion Schedule.

  • Predicted 10x Event – Friday September 1st – Summon Rush Event
  • Predicted 2x Void Event – Friday September 8th – Champion Chase Tournament

To reduce the amount of time spent during Fusion, in Dungeon Tournaments, Plarium activates Super Raids for Fusion Events, and this will be the case for Strategos Islin also, with the corresponding Super Raid Events lining up with their respective Dungeon Tournament in the Fusion Calendar.

  • On Thursday, August 31st, we’re planning to enable Super Raids in the Fire Knight’s Castle.
  • On Sunday, September 3rd, we’re planning to enable Super Raids in the Spider’s Den.
  • Also, on Wednesday, September 6th, we’re planning to enable Super Raids in the Dragon’s Lair.
  • And moreover, on Saturday, September 9th, we’re planning to enable Super Raids in the Ice Golem’s Peak.

Below we have our Summon Rush Calculator, which you can use to determine how many points you are able to get from the Summon Rush Event, While we do not know the exact requirement currently, we expect it to be around 3000/3500 as normal.

Day 1

New Events:

  • Artifact Enhancement Event – 5 Fragments – 4775 Points
  • Champion Training Tournament – 10 Fragments – 3050/5150 Points
  • Fire Knight Tournament – 5 Fragments – 2250 Points

It’s time to get started!

We’re starting off the Fusion with a Fire Knight Tournament, acquiring 2250 Points would typically work out as roughly 140 runs of stage 20, assuming the most unfavourable drops of 5* rare gear.

However, it’s important to note that this number may be substantially reduced based on your personal drop rates. This will consume approximately 2250 energy. It’s worth mentioning that running Hard Mode Fire Knight could further adjust these numbers, as the Mythical Artifact Drops offer an additional boost to your points.

Alongside this, there is a Champion Training Tournament trying to acquire 3050/5150 Points. To maximize your points, it is important to level up your chickens before using them as food. You can easily achieve this by adding some brews to the 4*/5* chickens before feeding them. This simple step will greatly assist you in achieving the necessary points to successfully complete the tournament.

Both of these events would be best completed TOMORROW alongside the Dungeon Divers Event.

Finally today, we have an Artifact Enhancement Event, where you’ll need 4775 points. Here are some efficient methods to save silver while achieving this:

  1. If you previously upgraded your gear to levels 7, 11, or 15, spend silver to increase each piece by one level for quick and easy points.
  2. Another effective approach is to clear out your gear inventory. Upgrade items you may want to keep to observe their stats and sell those you don’t need. Refer to this helpful guide for more information.

Day 2

New Events:

  • Summon Rush Event – 15 Fragments – 2150/3000 Points
  • Dungeon Divers Event – 5 Fragments – 3700 Points

The Dungeon Divers Tournament overlaps with 3 other energy-spending events, allowing you to double-dip your energy and farm points for multiple events at the same time, currently, we have Fire Knight and Champion Training, whilst on Sunday the Spider Tournament begins, so fear not if you’ve not maxed the Dungeon Divers Event after completing the Training and Fire Knight, as you will be able to wrap up any remaining points from Spider!

Alongside this, we have the Summon Rush Event! It’s time to pull some shards for some incredibly strong support Champions – you can view our full breakdown of the 10x Event that is running this weekend in our dedicated post.

The Point requirement for this is fairly standard, and what we expect with most Fusions.

Day 3

New Events:

  • Classic Arena Takedown – 5 Fragments – 390 Points

For the Arena Tournament, make sure to utilize all of your daily battles. Monitor your points closely and consider using 1 or 2 gem refills if necessary to reach your target points, depending on your arena tier and win rate. Prioritize winning fights and avoid using tokens on uncertain battles.

Day 4

New Events:

  • Spider Tournament – 5 Fragments – 2250 Points

For the Spider Tournament, acquiring 2250 Points would typically work out as roughly 140 runs of stage 20, assuming the most unfavourable drops of 5* rare accessories.

However, it’s important to note that this number may be substantially reduced based on your personal drop rates. This will consume approximately 2250 energy. It’s worth mentioning that running Hard Mode Spider could further adjust these numbers, as the Mythical Artifact Drops offer an additional boost to your points.

Day 5

New Events:

  • Artifact Enhancement Event – 5 Fragments – 4775 Points

Next up we have our second Artifact Enhancement Event, where you’ll need 4775 points again for this one.

Day 6

New Events:

  • Dungeon Divers Event – 5 Fragments – 3700 Points

It’s time for the second Dungeon Divers Event of the Fusion, this one will overlap with the following events to allow you to double-dip:

  • Spider Tournament
  • Dragon Tournament
  • Champion Training Event

Between these 3 events/tournaments, you should be able to rack up a good amount of Dungeon Diver Points, however you will likely need to top this up with some extra runs, whether that be extra Dragon runs, or Spider runs for more silver ahead of the third Artifact Enhancement Event is up to you, or even more Training to max the Event.

Day 7

New Events:

  • Dragon Tournament – 5 Fragments – 2250 Points

For the Dragon Tournament, acquiring 2250 Points would typically work out as roughly 140 runs of stage 20, assuming the most unfavourable drops of 5* rare accessories.

However, it’s important to note that this number may be substantially reduced based on your personal drop rates. This will consume approximately 2250 energy. It’s worth mentioning that running Hard Mode Dragon could further adjust these numbers, as the Mythical Artifact Drops offer an additional boost to your points.

Day 8

New Events:

  • Champion Training Event – 10 Fragments – 5350/7050 Points

This Training Event is the first of it’s kind, as it is the first event ever to contain a Primal Shard!

However, that’s not what we’re here for – that’s simply an added bonus, all you NEED is 7050 Points.

To maximize your points, it is important to level up your chickens before using them as food. You can easily achieve this by adding some brews to the 4*/5* chickens before feeding them. This simple step will greatly assist you in achieving the necessary points to successfully complete the Event.

Day 9

New Events:

  • Champion Chase Tournament – 15 Fragments – 1150/2500 Points
  • Artifact Enhancement Event – 5 Fragments – 4775 Points

The Champion Chase Tournament lines up nicely with the 2x Sacred Shard/10x Summon Event, so it’s time to pull those shards!

This Tournament is also a great opportunity to summon any Fragment Champions you’ve got sat waiting to get yourself the point requirement!

For the Artifact Enhancement Event, you’ll need 4775 points.

New Events:

  • Dungeon Divers Event – 5 Fragments – 3150 Points
  • Ice Golem Tournament – 5 Fragments – 2250 Points
  • Classic Arena Takedown – 5 Fragments – 390 Points

The final events are upon us!

We’re finishing off the Fusion with an Ice Golem Tournament, Acquiring 2250 Points would typically work out as roughly 140 runs of stage 20, assuming the most unfavourable drops of 5* rare gear.

However, it’s important to note that this number may be substantially reduced based on your personal drop rates. This will consume approximately 2250 energy. It’s worth mentioning that running Hard Mode Ice Golem could further adjust these numbers, as the Mythical Artifact Drops offer an additional boost to your points.

For the Arena Tournament, make sure to utilize all of your daily battles. Monitor your points closely and consider using 1 or 2 gem refills if necessary to reach your target points, depending on your arena tier and win rate. Prioritize winning fights and avoid using tokens on uncertain battles.

And finally, the Dungeon Divers Event will be a perfect way to round off all unfinished events, use this time to farm Ice Golem, and whatever else you’ve got left to finish up to collect your final Fragments!
