Thor Faehammer Fusion Guide – RAID: Shadow Legends
Welcome to the Thor Faehammer Fusion Guide, where we will provide you with all of the information necessary to complete this year’s RAID September Fusion.
This Fusion is a Hybrid Fusion, meaning instead of collecting Rare Champions or Fragments, we will be collecting Fragments for Epics Champions, before ranking them up and fusing the Legendary Champion, Thor Faehammer.
Be sure to check back daily to see our breakdown of how many points you will need in each event and the best ways to achieve this.
Thor Faehammer Fusion Type: Hybrid
Thor is a Hybrid Fusion, rather than the standard ‘Fusion Event’ or ‘Fragment Collector’ we are more commonly used to, this means, that instead of collecting Fragments or Champions to fuse him – we get to do both! We will be collecting 4 Epic Champions, by collecting 100 Fragments for each of them – which are then fused into Thor Faehammer!
Once you have collected enough fragments for all four epics, you will need to rank them at level 50 and rank 5 and fully ascend them!
These fragments will be collected by completing Fusion Events and Tournaments, which will be rewarded with specific Point Milestones.
One important thing to note with Hybrid Fusions is just like Traditional Fusions – you will need to finish this Fusion (and Summon him) during the window, which is clearly labelled with a countdown – you CANNOT hold off summoning him for the future unlike with a Fragment Collector.
Hybrid Fusion Requirements
With Champion Levelling and Ascending playing a key role still in Hybrid Fusions, here is a breakdown of what you will need.
The Champions involved in the fusion are:
- 4x Dyana Gloompiercer
To Rank these to the required level you will need:
- 16x Rank 4 Chickens
To Ascend these Champions you will need:
Affinity | Lesser | Greater | Superior |
---|---|---|---|
Arcane | N/A | 60 | 12 |
Void | N/A | 80 | 24 |

Thor Fusion Events
As part of The Thor Faehammer Fusion, we will have 2 core summoning events in the Fusion Schedule, one Summon Rush, and one Champion Chase Tournament. We will also get a THIRD Summon Event, an optional Summon Rush that will contain 50 extra Fragments, allowing us to skip two events if we complete it.
- Friday, September 6th – Champion Chase Tournament – 2x Sacred Shards & 10x Freyja Fateweaver Event
- Friday, September 13th – Summon Rush Event – Awaiting Announcement for Summon Event
- Tuesday, September 17th – Bonus Summon Rush Event – Awaiting Announcement for Summon Event
With Super-Raids now being a permanent Feature in Dungeons, Plarium used to enable them specially for Fusions, however, we now get special events for each dungeon, this time around we will have:
- Thursday, September 5th, we’re planning to launch x2 event for dropping Barbarians Accessories at Spider’s Den.
- Sunday, September 8th, we’re planning to launch x2 event for dropping Speed set artifacts at Dragon’s Lair.
- Thursday, September 12th, we’re planning to launch x2 event for dropping Regeneration set artifacts at Fire Knight’s Castle.
- Sunday, September 15th, we’re planning to launch x2 event for dropping Reflex set artifacts at Ice Golem’s Peak.
These boosts will coincide with their respective Dungeon Tournament throughout the Fusion Event!
Finally, As this Fusion contains a Summon Rush Event, you will need to plan ahead to determine if you can achieve this. We don’t know the exact point requirements for the summon rush so far but you will need to be prepared. Use our summon rush calculator below to see how many points you can currently earn.

Update: Day 1 – Thursday, September 5th
New Events:
- Champion Training Event – 6,100 Points – 25 Fragments (25/400)
- Artifact Enhancement Event – 4,775 Points – 25 Fragments (50/400)
- Spider Tournament – 2,250 Points – 25 Fragments (75/400)
Welcome to the Thor Fusion! Let’s get started!
First up we’ve got a perfect case of WAIT: Shadow Legends, as we start with Spider Tournament and Champion Training, both of which we advise holding off till tomorrow for the Dungeon Divers Event to start before using any energy towards these events, as you will want to double-dip to complete the events simultaneously.
For the Spider Tournament, You will need to acquire 2250 Points and this calculates to roughly 140 runs of Stage 20 normal at a cost of 2,240 energy or around 120 runs of Stage 10 Hard at a cost of 2,400 energy. Running Stage 20 Normal is the most energy-efficient route when it comes to fusion tournaments (unlike turn attack tournaments which require a high stage). These rates are an average assessment therefore some of you may high roll or low roll your gear requiring slightly less or slightly more runs.
To maximize your points in the Champion Training Event, it is important to level up your chickens before using them as food. You can easily achieve this by adding some brews to the 4*/5* chickens before feeding them. This simple step will greatly assist you in achieving the necessary points to successfully complete the Event.
For further information on how to best complete these events efficiently, be sure to check out our Champion Upgrade Guide.
Use this opportunity to prepare the required food (See Fusion Requirements above) to complete the necessary upgrades to finish this Fusion.
Lastly, Artifact Enhancement Events can be done in two ways: you can gear cleanse to the points or you can upgrade pieces to rank 16.
Gear Cleansing Route
If you have a number of artifacts on level 1, an efficient way to claim the rare Champion is to upgrade Artifacts to level 8 or 12 and then sell the items for silver. This still remains a negative silver gain but it’s far less punishing than upgrading Artifacts to level 16. You may choose to keep some good pieces (a bonus!). This route might take only 10-15 million silver to complete the event.
Gear Upgrading Route
If you are looking to complete some Champion builds, then Level 16 artifacts are important to maximise their potential. We highly recommend you prioritise Artifacts instead of upgrading Accessories as this will be significantly less silver to complete the event. This route will take you approximately 20 million silver to complete.
Update: Day 2 – Friday, September 6th
New Events:
- Dungeon Divers Event – 3,700 Points – 25 Fragments (100/400)
- Champion Chase Tournament – 1,550 Points – 25 Fragments (125/400)
It’s time to get going, as we mentioned in yesterday’s update, we had to play a bit of a waiting game for this Dungeon Divers Event to start to be efficient with our energy usage, but that wait is now over.
The Champion Chase Tournament has just begun and has launched alongside a 2x Sacred Shard and 10x Freyja Fateweaver Summons Event, so it’s time to decide whether or not to pull your shards.
It’s worth mentioning that unlike Summon Rush Events, points can be acquired for Champion Chase Tournaments through other means than pulling shards, whether that be summoning a past Fragment Champion that you’ve been sitting on, or even collecting uncommon champions from Campaign or the Market, any Champions obtained during this tournament will give you points.
For the Dungeon Divers Event, to acquire the 25 Fragments from this we will need 3,700 points (which is a fairly standard amount in fusions these days). This calculates to on average 304 runs of Stage 20 Normal Dungeons, and will cost you around 4,864 energy, or 273 Runs of Stage 10 Hard Dungeons at 5,460 Energy.
That’s correct, Stage 20 Normal mode dungeons remain the most efficient way of completing these events! With the difficulty being lower also, you may be able to add some Food Champions into your runs to triple-dip with the Champion Training Tournament, failing that, those campaign runs you will be doing will also be chipping away at this Dungeon Divers Event.
Update: Day 3 – Saturday, September 7th
New Events:
- Classic Arena Takedown 1 – 390 Points – 25 Fragments (150/400)
The classic arena takedown should be relatively straightforward if you are able to fight and win at least half of your daily tokens. At Gold 5 you need to win 30 fights over 72 hours to claim the Fragments. This will scale lower so pay attention but if you are lower in your account level then your point requirements should scale with your arena rank.
Update: Day 4 – Sunday, September 8th
New Events:
- Dragon Tournament – 2,250 Points – 25 Fragments (175/400)
For the Dragon Tournament, You will need to acquire 2250 Points and this calculates to roughly 140 runs of Stage 20 normal at a cost of 2,240 energy or around 120 runs of Stage 10 Hard at a cost of 2,400 energy. Running Stage 20 Normal is the most energy-efficient route when it comes to fusion tournaments (unlike turn attack tournaments which require a high stage). These rates are an average assessment therefore some of you may high roll or low roll your gear requiring slightly less or slightly more runs.
Update: Day 5 – Monday, September 9th
New Events:
- Artifact Enhancement Event – 4,775 Points – 25 Fragments (200/400)
Today we have our second Artifact Enhancement Event which can be done in two ways: you can gear cleanse to the points or you can upgrade pieces to rank 16.
We HIGHLY advise waiting till tomorrow to do this in line with the Clan vs Clan Tournament for some easy points!
Update: Day 6 – Tuesday, September 10th
New Events:
- Dungeon Divers Event – 3,700 Points – 25 Fragments (225/400)
It’s time for the second Dungeon Divers Event of this Fusion; to acquire the 25 Fragments from this we will need 3,700 points (which is a fairly standard amount in fusions these days). This calculates to on average 304 runs of Stage 20 Normal Dungeons, and will cost you around 4,864 energy, or 273 Runs of Stage 10 Hard Dungeons at 5,460 Energy.
We currently have the Dragon Tournament which we can chip away at to start cracking on with points, however, failing that, on Thursday we have a Fire Knight Tournament which we can catch the back-end of this Dungeon Divers Event with.
As always, Stage 20 Normal mode dungeons remain the most efficient way of completing these events!
Update: Day 8 – Thursday, September 12th
New Events:
- Fire Knight Tournament – 2,250 Points – 25 Fragments (250/400)
You will need to acquire 2250 Points and this calculates to roughly 140 runs of Stage 20 normal at a cost of 2,240 energy or around 120 runs of Stage 10 Hard at a cost of 2,400 energy. Running Stage 20 Normal is the most energy-efficient route when it comes to fusion tournaments (unlike turn attack tournaments which require a high stage). These rates are an average assessment therefore some of you may high roll or low roll your gear requiring slightly less or slightly more runs.
This Tournament lines up with both Dungeon Divers II and Dungeon Divers III which will begin in a few days, giving you plenty of opportunity to double-dip whilst progressing through this tournament.
Update: Day 9 – Friday, September 13th
New Events:
- Champion Training Tournament – 6,350 Points – 25 Fragments (275/400)
- Summon Rush – 3,000 Points – 25 Fragments (300/400)
- Artifact Enhancement Event III – 4,775 Points – 25 Fragments (325/400)
It’s Summon Day! For anybody going after the Summon Rush Event, it’s time to pick your choice of Reviver to go for in the Reviver Progressive Summon Event.
3,000 Points in the Summon Rush Event is equivalent to 6 Sacred Shards, or a combination of other shards to meet the point requirement for the 25 Fragments!
As for the Champion Training Tournament; to maximize your points in this Event, it is important to level up your chickens before using them as food. You can easily achieve this by adding some brews to the 4*/5* chickens before feeding them. This simple step will greatly assist you in achieving the necessary points to successfully complete the Event. This is a great opportunity to level up the Epics you have acquired so far!
Unlike Champion Training Events, it is important to note that you can get a bulk of points from using Skill Tomes on your Champions, however, these may be best saved for things such as Clan vs Clan to help lead your clan to victory, but in the situation that these overlap, it can be a great source of easy points!
For further information on how to best complete these events efficiently, be sure to check out our Champion Upgrade Guide.
Lastly, Artifact Enhancement Events can be done in two ways: you can gear cleanse to the points or you can upgrade pieces to rank 16.

Update: Day 10 – Saturday, September 14th
New Events:
- Dungeon Divers Event III – 3,700 Points – 25 Fragments (350/400)
- Classic Arena Takedown – 390 Points – 25 Fragments (375/400)
The classic arena takedown should be relatively straightforward if you are able to fight and win at least half of your daily tokens. At Gold 5 you need to win 30 fights over 72 hours to claim the Fragments. This will scale lower so pay attention but if you are lower in your account level then your point requirements should scale with your arena rank.
It’s time for the final Dungeon Divers Event of this Fusion; to acquire the 25 Fragments from this we will need 3,700 points (which is a fairly standard amount in fusions these days). This calculates to on average 304 runs of Stage 20 Normal Dungeons, and will cost you around 4,864 energy, or 273 Runs of Stage 10 Hard Dungeons at 5,460 Energy.
Update: Day 11 – Sunday, September 15th
New Events:
- Ice Golem Tournament – 2,250 Points – 25 Fragments (400/400)
Today we get our final traditional Tournament in the Thor Fusion, however, we do still have the bonus Summon Rush coming in 2 days for an additional 50 Fragments, meaning if you missed out on any of the events during the Fusion you still have another opportunity when that comes around to achieve the Fusion by summoning shards once again, it’s yet to be clarified what event we will get alongside this Summon Rush but you can expect that news to come out tomorrow!
For the Ice Golem Tournament, You will need to acquire 2250 Points and this calculates to roughly 140 runs of Stage 20 normal at a cost of 2,240 energy or around 120 runs of Stage 10 Hard at a cost of 2,400 energy. Final Update: Day 13 – Tuesday, September 17th
New Events:
- Bonus Summon Rush Event – 2,750/5,500 Points – 25+25 Fragments (450/400)
And here we have it, the very last available fragments for the Fusion, if you’ve held off till now, it’s time to rip open those shards and see if you can get your hands on a Faction Unity Champion due to the current 10x Event running alongside an Extra Legendary Event for Sacred Shards!
If you’ve got this far, and completed the Fusion; you may want to get involved in the Faehammer Titan Path, to get your newly acquired Thor a Rank-5 Soul to truly unleash his damage potential – head over to our Titan Event Guide for more daily updates, we’ll see you there!
Do we have any idea on how many points will be needed for the final summon rush event? It’s difficult to plan this out without knowing that.
Was going for him anyway as short on damage champs, vid has convinced me it will be worth it.
Thank for this article HH! This is my first fusion and this is certainly a great companion to this farm! Looking forward to day 2 :)
Day 2 update when? Need to start farming but want to be sure i do things right!
If you are looking to complete some Champion builds, then Level 16 artifacts are important to maximise their potential. We highly recommend you prioritise Artifacts instead of upgrading Accessories as this will be significantly less silver to complete the event. This route will take you approximately 20 million silver to complete.
This is in all fusion guides and so very wrong. You get zero points for uppgrading accessories in an ARTIFACT enhancement event…
No – You do get points for Upgrading Accessories. In fact I did this today on my account!
Can confirm, I also used accessories to finish artifact enhancements today
You are right. Just tested. Is it normal artifact upgrade events (not fusions) that do not award points for accessories or have I gone crazy :) Either way. You are right. Accessory upgrade award points…
About that final summon rush. Anybody know if that is going to be the Deck of Fate? If so, then I can skip out on two events as I will be going for Freyja.
