Valentine’s Fusion – Insane new partnership
RAID’s Valentine’s update introduces a brand-new Legendary pairing designed with one clear goal in mind: shutting down speed teams. Noldua the Gloaming arrives as a Fragment Champion, while her partner Solanar the Gleaming joins the summoning pool as a damage-focused Void Legendary. Individually, both Champions bring strong kits, but together they unlock a level of synergy specifically built to punish Turn Meter manipulation, extra turns, and fast Arena compositions.
This duo represents one of the most direct counters to speed-based metas we’ve seen so far, combining mass revive utility, unresistable debuffs, Turn Meter disruption, and a brand-new debuff (Fatigue) mechanic that fundamentally alters how enemies take turns.
Noldua the Gloaming – Fragment Legendary Support Overview

Noldua is the backbone of this pairing. Her kit blends classic Support strengths with a unique anti-speed Passive that immediately sets her apart from most Arena Champions.
Her A1, Shadestrike, applies strong single-target control. Against normal enemies, it places Enfeeble for two turns, significantly reducing damage output. Against Bosses, this converts into Weaken, keeping her relevant outside PvP. When paired with Solanar, this debuff becomes unresistable, removing one of the biggest weaknesses Support Champions usually face in high-end Arena.
Her A2, Umbral Purge, is where Noldua really starts to shine. She removes all buffs from all enemies, then places Decrease DEF on the entire enemy team. With Solanar present, both effects become unresistable, and she also grants Increase ATK to all allies. This single skill swings fights massively in your favour, especially against Stoneskin, reaction-based defenses, and buff-reliant speed teams.
The A3, Moonbloom’s Blessing, is a full-team revive paired with Turn Meter boost and a sizable Shield based on Noldua’s MAX HP. When Solanar is on the team and already dead, she revives him with 100% Turn Meter, allowing him to immediately threaten the enemy team again. This makes killing Solanar first a dangerous mistake.
Her Passive, Scholar of Shadows, is the defining piece of her kit. Enemy Turn Meter fill effects from skills are 30% less effective, and if Solanar is present, Noldua gains Turn Meter whenever enemies attempt to boost theirs. This directly undermines Champions like Arbiter, Siphi, Lyssandra, and other speed leads. Importantly, this Passive continues to function even if Noldua is dead, making her impact felt throughout the entire fight.
She also brings an Accuracy Aura, reinforcing her role as a debuff-focused Support for Arena and PvE content alike.
Solanar the Gleaming – Anti-Speed Damage Dealer Breakdown

Solanar is not part of the Fragment event but is clearly designed as Noldua’s counterpart. His kit blends raw damage with extreme survivability and some of the most oppressive counter-speed mechanics introduced so far.
His A1, Solar Surge, is an AoE attack that becomes always critical when Noldua is on the team. This effectively removes the need to build Critical Rate at all. The skill places the new Fatigue debuff, which forces enemies to fall asleep for one turn after using an active skill. Fatigue directly punishes fast rotations and skill chaining, particularly in Arena.
Blazing Force, his A2, is a single-target nuke that ignores Defense based on the number of buffs Solanar has. While this skill is not on cooldown, Solanar becomes immune to all debuffs, and any attempted debuff instead grants him a random buff. This creates an extremely frustrating situation for opponents trying to control or disable him.
His A3, Unfettered Radiance, steals all buffs and 100% Turn Meter from the target before attacking, ignoring Stoneskin when Noldua is present. While this skill is available, Solanar takes 75% less damage from enemy extra turns and instant turns, making him incredibly hard to kill before he gets to act. If enemies attempt to manipulate Turn Meter or gain extra turns, this skill’s cooldown is rapidly reduced, ensuring it cycles frequently in fast-paced fights.
Solanar’s Passive, Scholar of Sun, completely shuts down healing. Any healing received by enemies is reduced to zero and instead redirected to Solanar. With Noldua present, enemies take damage equal to the healing they attempted to receive. On top of that, Solanar can self-revive once per round when his last ally dies, returning with full HP, full Turn Meter, and a massive Magma Shield equal to 300% of his MAX HP. When paired with Noldua, this shield becomes protected.
His Aura increases ATK in all battles, reinforcing his role as a primary damage threat.
Why This Duo Is Built for Arena
Noldua and Solanar are clearly engineered to punish speed-centric strategies. Turn Meter boosts become weaker, extra turns actively help Solanar cycle his abilities, and healing-based sustain is completely reversed. Even killing Solanar first doesn’t solve the problem, as Noldua can bring him straight back into the fight at full strength.
This pairing pressures opponents at every stage of the battle. Before anyone takes a turn, Solanar’s mitigation and debuff immunity make him difficult to remove. Once abilities start flying, Fatigue and Turn Meter reduction slow everything down. And if fights drag on, healing and revives only make things worse for the enemy.
Individually, both Champions are strong. Together, they form one of the most oppressive Arena duos RAID has released in recent years.
