Why is Tuhanarak such a good champion?

Tuhanarak is a void legendary, from the Barbarian faction that was added to the game in patch 4.4. At first, she was received as a glorified Doompriest in many people’s opinions, however as she’s been out for longer, she’s found more and more uses in the game, most recently being a key role in Hydra Clan Boss

There is currently a 10x event for her active this weekend.

Before we dig too much deeper, let’s look at her kit:

So, as you can see, her passive works very similarly to Doompriest, however unlike Doompriest she does provide less healing, as she won’t passively heal each turn she takes.

Instead, she will place heals on her A1 – Which enhances her ability to cleanse, instead, removing 2 debuffs from anybody under a Continuous Heal buff.

Her A3 Provides 2 incredibly important and valuable buffs for any content, with Increase Speed and Increase DEF, which see her fitting nicely into a lot of Clan Boss tunes, allowing you to run your champions are faster speed ratios, while also staying affinity neutral due to her passive cleanse.

The main reason we’ve seen her value spike over the recent months, however, as mentioned is her use in Hydra Clan Boss – and this comes from a joint benefit of all of the above-listed points, but also her ability to place Decrease ATK, Block Buffs on one target and then spread 2 random debuffs onto all other heads, this can be super useful to help maintain very important debuffs on all heads, especially if a new head appears and you can guarantee the swap of the buffs that she places herself onto the rest of the heads.

Overall, Tuhanarak is a fantastic all-rounder who will fit into tons of your teams, and help you in a large portion of content. She is very sought after since the release of Hydra and we imagine her value will continue to grow as new content is released in the future.
