7 New Champions Enter RAID: Shadow Legends

RAID: Shadow Legends is set to welcome a striking new group of champions, and this batch brings a strong mix of control, support, damage, and utility across several factions. From the terrifying mythical Sabrael the Distant to the versatile fusion legendary Mavara the Web Diviner, these new additions look built to shake up both PvP and PvE.

What stands out most is how focused these champions feel. Sabrael looks like a top-end Arena threat with lockdown, buff control, and a brutal damage form. Mavara offers protection, turn control, and healing for support teams. Stonebound Thisbe brings rare value as an Epic with Hydra-friendly debuffs and team damage support, and the new Argonaut legendaries each fill clear roles for wave control, pressure, and survival.

There is plenty here for all kinds of players. Some of these champions look aimed at high-level Arena and siege battles, and others look ideal for Faction Wars, Cursed City, Hydra, and general progression. In this article, we break down each new champion, what their kit does, and where they look strongest.

Sabrael the Distant

Sabrael Base Form

Born among the High Elves yet untouched by their warmth, Sabrael walked a path far removed from her kin. She studied control, time, and the unseen threads that bind battle together. In her pursuit of perfection, she split her own essence, becoming both an untouchable manipulator and a ruthless executioner.

BASE FORM

In her base form, Sabrael is one of the most oppressive control champions in the game, built for high-end Arena play and wave domination. Her kit revolves around denying enemy turns and dismantling setups before they begin.

Her A1 places Sleep and triggers automatically when enemies gain Turn Meter, targeting the enemy with the highest. This creates constant disruption, especially against speed-based teams. Enemies that try to accelerate their turns risk being shut down instantly.

Her A2 is a double hitter with a AoE buff strip that removes all enemy buffs. She then spreads her own buffs to allies, this ability alone makes her a top-tier counter to buff-heavy compositions.

Her A3 hits twice, with each hit increasing the cooldown of a enemy skills to maximum, for most champions with 2 or less skills this is essentially a full lockout. It also reduces Turn Meter by 30%, and grants her an extra turn. This allows her to chain directly into her A2, leaving enemies stripped, delayed, and unable to respond.

Her passive prevents all damage taken outside of enemy turns, making her immune to counterattacks and ally attacks. It also boosts ally damage based on how many enemy skills she has put on cooldown, scaling up to 25%. This turns control into direct team damage.

She finishes with a 33% Speed Aura in Arena, placing her among the fastest and most impactful openers in PvP.

Sabrael the Distant Alt Form

ALTERNATE FORM

In her alternate form, Sabrael shifts into a devastating damage dealer who thrives against disabled enemies.

Her A1 is a triple hit that ignores Block Damage and Unkillable, and it triggers automatically when enemies gain those effects or cheat death mechanics. This makes her one of the strongest counters to defensive mechanics in the game.

Her A2 swaps HP with a target before attacking all enemies twice. The more HP she steals, the more Attack she gains and the more Defense enemies lose. This creates incredible damage scaling when used correctly, especially against high-HP targets.

Her A3 is an AoE double hit that ignores 25% Defense and reduces the value of Stone Skin, shields, and Magma Shield by 75%. If enemies have skills on cooldown, this effect cannot be resisted. It also grants her a shield based on her Attack, giving her self sustain.

Her passive guarantees critical hits against enemies with skills on cooldown and increases her damage for each remaining cooldown turn. This removes the need for Crit Rate in builds and allows full investment into Speed, Accuracy, and Crit Damage.

Sabrael excels in Arena and wave content. She controls the fight from start to finish, then transforms into the force that ends it.

Mavara the Web Diviner

Mavara the Web Diviner

Hidden within threads of fate and shadow, Mavara sees battles before they unfold. She manipulates outcomes with quiet precision, weaving control, survival, and inevitability into every encounter.

Mavara is a support champion focused on Turn Meter manipulation, survivability, and control through Unkillable interactions.

With tools like HP equalization, a full-team Perfect Veil, and a single-target revive, she offers strong defensive utility while keeping herself protected with Unkillable.

Her passive provides healing, allowing her to sustain the team over time without relying on direct healing skills alone. This makes her valuable in extended fights where durability matters.

Her Speed Aura in Arena further strengthens her role as a tempo controller, helping her team act first and maintain pressure.

Mavara fits best in PvP and controlled PvE environments where timing and survival decide the outcome.

Phemo the Shepherd

Phemo the Shepherd

His A2 places Increase DEF and a large shield on all allies, scaling from his Defense. These buffs become protected if any ally has died, and his passive triggers the skill instantly whenever an ally falls. This creates a constant safety net, especially in difficult content.

His A3 delivers heavy control. It stuns a primary target and fully depletes their Turn Meter. If the initial stun is successful successful, it spreads into an AoE attack that stuns all enemies and reduces their Turn Meter. This makes him extremely effective in wave-based encounters.

His passive increases his Defense and HP for every stun he lands, allowing him to scale into a durable frontline over time. It also grants allies immunity to stun while under his shield.

Phemo excels in Faction Wars, Cursed City, and other wave-heavy content where control and durability matter more than burst damage.

His A3 places Provoke on all enemies and grants himself Counterattack. This feeds directly into his A1, creating a loop of Turn Meter gain and HP destruction. He also ignores 50% of targets Resistance if their MAX HP is lower than is.

His passive reduces damage dealt by provoked enemies by 50% and increases ally damage against them by 20%. This makes him both a damage dealer and a team amplifier.

Knosson performs best in Arena, where his HP scaling and Stone Skin interaction allow him to pressure defensive teams effectively.

Kosk of Two Skins

kosk of two skins

His A2 places Increased Accuracy on himself before attacking an enemy. This skill applies Poison Sensitivity and two 5% poisons, then spreads them to all enemies. This essentially makes it an AoE poison effect which is lovely.

His A3 places Decrease ATK on all enemies, boosts his Turn Meter for each Decrease ATK applied, and activates all poisons instantly. This allows for massive burst damage after setup.

His passive increases his damage and ignores Defense for each active debuff on enemies, scaling up to 50% damage and 30% ignore DEF. He also counterattacks enemies who are under his debuffs.

He is immune to poison, stun, and decrease speed.

Kosk thrives in wave content where multiple enemies allow him to stack debuffs quickly and reach full damage potential.

Baerd the Broad

Baerd the Broad

Stonebound Thisbe

Stonebound Thisbe
