Aratheia Corpseflower Rework: From Forgotten Void Legendary to Arena Monster?
Aratheia Corpseflower has finally been reworked, and honestly, this looks like one of the biggest glow-ups we’ve seen in RAID. She used to feel like one of the most disappointing Void Legendaries in the game, but her new kit gives her real damage, better survivability, and serious block revive pressure.
What Changed?

Her passive is the biggest winner. Every time Aratheia kills an enemy, she gains 10% Ignore DEF, stacking up to 30%. That’s massive. Once she gets rolling, she starts hitting much harder without needing quite as much help from gear.
She also gains:
- A shield after killing two or more enemies
- Block revive on future kills after killing three enemies
- Better Hex application
- Protective Block Damage on her A3
- More turn meter gain
- Stronger counterattacks
Let’s be honest, that is a lot.
Her A3 Is Now Scary
Aratheia’s A3 now places Death Brand on one enemy and Hex across the enemy team. The Hex ignores Block Debuffs, which makes it far more reliable than before.
Even better, she gives herself Block Damage and then takes an extra turn. This means she can stay alive through some nasty counter-pressure, especially in Arena.
Her Damage Is Good, But Not Instant-Nuke Crazy
One important takeaway from the testing: Aratheia is not the biggest upfront nuker in the game.
Her A2 damage was solid, but not absurd. She really shines once she starts getting kills and stacking Ignore DEF. After that, she snowballs hard.
That means she works best when:
- She can pick off enemies early
- The team helps her survive long enough to ramp
- She has enough Accuracy to land Hex and Death Brand
- She avoids Polymorph or runs protection against it
Best Build Ideas
Best Places to Use Her
Aratheia looked especially strong in:
- Arena
- Siege
- Faction Wars
- Wave-based PvE content
In Faction Wars, she practically cleared waves by herself. The constant Block Revive and Block Damage made her feel much safer than a normal damage dealer.
Best Build Ideas
For Arena, she likely wants:
- High Attack
- Crit Rate and Crit Damage
- Accuracy
- Ignore DEF gear or relics
- Protection from Polymorph or crowd control
Mercurial gear could also be nasty on her, especially with a strong damage relic, because it makes her harder to control while she keeps cycling turns and applying pressure.
Final Thoughts
Aratheia went from underwhelming to genuinely exciting. She now brings damage, survivability, Death Brand, Hex, and multiple ways to block revive enemies.
She may not delete teams instantly like the biggest nukers, but once she gets going, she becomes a real problem.
If you have Aratheia, this rework is absolutely worth revisiting. She looks like a serious Arena option now, and potentially one of the biggest tier list climbers RAID has seen in a long time.
