Call of the Arbiter – Recap Episode 6 SPOILER WARNING

Join us as we recap the events that unfolded in Call of the Arbiter Episode 6, as Jizoh joins the team!

This episode starts with Arbiter instructing her heroes to “find the guide in irons”, as “he knows the way” with a picture of Jizoh on the screen.

The first scene sets in a large castle, and guards dragging Jizoh in, he is protesting that he is innocent as they hold him down and cut off his right hand.

The screen goes dark and then resets with Jizoh in a jail cell, drawing on the wall with his left hand whilst talking to a mysterious character whom we learn is Tatsu, a new champion in the game.

Jizoh and Tatsu are talking about how he ended up there, he had a muse who was a lady of the high court, the Banner Lords did not like their friendship and thought that his gifting her with his artwork was troublesome, so took his hand and imprisoned him.

Tatsu tells Jizoh to get down as the cell door blows off and Galek and Athel enter the cell.

Athel shows Jizoh a picture of Arbiter’s bodice and asks him to take them to it, he refuses, asking why he should trust a human, in response, Athel points to a drawing on the wall of the cell that Jizoh has drawn of the Arbiter and say “she sent us” this seems to convince Jizoh as they leave the cell.

Tatsu has also been freed, she rubs her hand along Jizohs drawing of the Arbiter and states “It seems we will meet again friend, our destinies are intertwined”, before leaving the prison.

We jump to Jizoh leading Galek and Athel through the sewers, Jizoh says that he needs a weapon before they go any further. Galek attaches a blade to the stump where Jizohs hand once was, creating Jizohs weapon that we are all familiar with.

Athel goes to stomp on a spider that has joined them, Jizoh warns her not to, but she squishes it anyway, enacting the wrath of every spider in this infested sewer. Thousands if not hundreds of thousands of spiderlings swarm them, forcing them to run for their lives, Athel gets caught on a web and Galek saves her by starting a fire, they escape into a chamber and Galek destroys the entrance to buy them time.

Jizoh tells them that this is where Arbiter’s bodice is, ichor drips down from the ceiling narrowly missing them, they look up to find Skavag, the three of them fight Skavag until some spiderlings find their way into the chamber, Athel defeats the spiderlings whilst Galek and Jizoh defeat Skavag, Jizoh striking the fatal blow, he climbs the Spider Queen and hands Arbiters bodice to Galek.

Jizoh looks down at his hand, admiring his weapon, he says out loud to no one in particular, “its no paintbrush, but I can work with this”, Galek smiles and welcomes him to the team.
