Donatello Fusion Guide – Raid: Shadow Legends
Welcome to our Donatello Fusion Guide, where we’ll provide you with all of the information necessary to complete this year’s RAID: Shadow Legends special collaboration Fusion.
This Fusion is a Fragment Fusion, meaning you’ll need to collect Fusion Champion Fragments by earning them from various Tournaments and Events, before summoning him in the Summoning Portal.
Be sure to check back daily throughout the Donatello Fusion to see our breakdown of how many points you will require for each event and the best way to earn them.
Donatello Fusion Type: Fragment
There are three types of fusion events: traditional, fragmented, and hybrid. Donatello will be a Fragment Collector Fusion, which means unlike a Traditional Fusion, we do not need to collect any other Champions to fuse him. Instead, we will be collecting Fragments by completing Fusion Events and Tournaments.
Once you’ve completed enough Events and Tournaments to acquire 100 Fragments, you may Summon Donatello from the Summoning Portal.
One of the best parts about Fragment Collector Fusions is there is no time limit on claiming your Legendary Champion meaning you can hold on to them for points in an upcoming Clan vs Clan or Champion Chase Tournament for a big drop of points!

Donatello Fusion Events
As part of the Fusion, we will have 2 summoning events in the Fusion Schedule, one Summon Rush Event, and one Champion Chase Tournament.
- Friday 22nd August – Champion Chase Tournament
- Friday 29th August – Summon Rush Event
With Super-Raids now being a permanent Feature in Dungeons, Plarium used to enable them specially for Fusions, however, we now get Drop Fever Events to boost our chances of specific gear sets, these will be confirmed as soon as we find out more information (however, sometimes Plarium don’t announce these in advance).
These boosts will coincide with their respective Dungeon Tournament throughout the Fusion Event!

Day 1 Update: August 21st
New Events:
- Ice Golem Tournament – 2,250 Points – 5 Fragments
- Dungeon Divers Event I – 3,700 Points – 5 Fragments
To get the 5 Fragments from the Ice Golem Tournament, you’ll need to earn 2,250 Points. This works out to around 140 runs of Stage 20 Normal, costing approximately 2,240 energy, or 120 runs of Stage 10 Hard, costing around 2,400 energy. As usual, Stage 20 Normal remains the most efficient route when farming gear for fusion tournaments. Remember — gear RNG can vary, so your actual run count may differ slightly.
For Dungeon Divers Event I, the 3,700-point target is a standard fusion milestone. This will require roughly 304 runs of Stage 20 Dungeons at a cost of 4,864 energy, or around 273 runs of Stage 10 Hard, costing 5,460 energy. If you’re farming Ice Golem today, you’ll naturally progress both events together — efficient double dipping!
If you’re low on energy, now is a great time to use daily refills, regen timers, and any stored energy from the inbox or clan rewards.
Day 2 Update: August 22nd
New Events:
- Gear Enhancement Event – 4,775 Points – 5 Fragments
- Champion Training Event – 3,100/6,100 Points – 10 Fragments
- Champion Chase Tournament – 1,300/3,000 Points – 15 Fragments (+10 for 1st, +5 for 2nd)
To complete the Gear Enhancement Event, you’ll need to reach 4,775 Points. There are two main strategies here:
Gear Cleansing: Upgrade level 1 Artifacts to 8 or 12 and sell them for silver. This route minimizes silver cost (estimated 10–15M silver total) and helps you clean out your inventory—plus, you might keep some hidden gems!
Full Upgrades: Upgrade key Artifacts to level 16 to support your Champion builds. Focus on main gear over Accessories, as it’s more cost-efficient. This route may require around 20M silver.
For the Champion Training Event, reach 3,100 and 6,100 Points to grab both sets of Fragments. Be sure to level up your chickens before feeding—adding brews to 4★ or 5★ chickens makes a huge difference in points gained.
The Champion Chase Tournament is now live and coincides with the active 2x Sacred Shard Event and a 10x chance to summon April O’Neil. With 1,300 and 3,000 Point thresholds, you’ll need a good amount of shards, typically Ancients are considered the best for Chases due to the volume of Champions you receive, however, they feature no bonus from the active summon event. Bonus fragments are also awarded for placing 1st or 2nd in your tournament bracket, so keep an eye on the leaderboard!
If you’re going for all three events today, now is the time to use your stored silver, brews, energy, and shards to maximize value across the board. Best of luck!
Day 3 Update: August 23rd
New Events:
- Classic Arena Takedown – 390 Points – 5 Fragments
The Classic Arena Takedown starts today and awards 5 Fragments for earning 390 Points.
At Gold V, this typically requires around 30 wins over the course of the tournament, which spans 72 hours. If you consistently use your daily Arena tokens and refill when possible, this should be manageable. For lower-level players, point requirements will scale down accordingly.
If you’re struggling for wins, consider dropping down a tier briefly to face easier opponents—but don’t forget to climb back up for your weekly Arena rewards!
Day 4 Update: August 24th
New Events:
- Dragon Tournament – 2,250 Points – 5 Fragments
To claim the 5 Fragments from today’s Dragon Tournament, you’ll need to earn 2,250 Points.
This breaks down to around 140 runs of Stage 20 Normal, costing approximately 2,240 energy, or about 120 runs of Stage 10 Hard, costing roughly 2,400 energy. As always, Stage 20 Normal remains the most energy-efficient route for tournament farming.
Day 5 Update: August 25th
New Events:
- Dungeon Divers Event II – 3,700 Points – 5 Fragments
To earn the 5 Fragments from Dungeon Divers Event II, you’ll need to reach 3,700 Points.
This is a standard requirement for fusion divers and equates to approximately:
- 304 runs of Stage 20 Normal dungeons – around 4,864 energy
- or 273 runs of Stage 10 Hard – around 5,460 energy
If you’re already farming Dragon from the current tournament, you can continue there to make progress in both events at once.
Day 6 Update: August 26th
New Events:
- Gear Enhancement Event II – 4,775 Points – 5 Fragments
To earn the 5 Fragments from the Gear Enhancement Event, you’ll need to reach 4,775 Points. As always, there are two primary strategies:
Gear Cleansing Route:
Upgrade low-level artifacts (typically to level 8 or 12), then sell the pieces. This is a silver-negative method but much less costly than taking gear to level 16. Expect to spend around 10–15 million silver using this approach.
Gear Upgrading Route:
If you’re mid-build on key Champions, upgrading gear to level 16 is more efficient long-term. Prioritize artifacts over accessories, as they’re cheaper to max. You’ll likely need 20 million silver for this method.
Day 8 Update: August 28th
New Events:
- Fire Knight Tournament – 2,250 Points – 5 Fragments
- Champion Training Tournament – 3,700/6,800 Points – 10 Fragments (5 each milestone, +10 bonus for 1st place)
To earn the 5 Fragments from the Fire Knight Tournament, you’ll need 2,250 Points, which breaks down to around 140 runs of Stage 20 Normal at a cost of 2,240 energy, or 120 runs of Stage 10 Hard at about 2,400 energy. As usual, Stage 20 Normal remains the most energy-efficient route—though gear drop luck can still shift the number of required runs.
For the Champion Training Tournament, two milestone thresholds are in place:
3,700 Points = 5 Fragments
6,800 Points = 5 Fragments
Additionally, the top-ranked player in your tournament bracket will receive a bonus 10 Fragments, with 5 awarded to second place.
To maximize your points efficiently, make sure to level up your chickens using brews before feeding them—this boosts point returns significantly. If you’re planning to compete for the leaderboard rewards, consider investing energy early and tracking your bracket closely throughout the event.
Check out our Champion Upgrade Guide for tips on getting the most out of your training energy and food prep.
Day 9 Update: August 29th
New Events:
- Classic Arena Takedown II – 390 Points – 5 Fragments
- Summon Rush – 2,050/3,200 Points – 15 Fragments (5 + 10)
- Dungeon Divers Event III – 3,700 Points – 5 Fragments
The Classic Arena Takedown should be relatively simple if you’re active in the Arena. At Gold V, you’ll need to win around 30 battles over the 3-day period. Lower tiers will require fewer wins, so check your bracket to adjust expectations accordingly.
For the Summon Rush, there are two key thresholds:
2,050 Points = 5 Fragments
3,200 Points = 10 Fragments
The most efficient way to score points is by using Sacred Shards (500 points each), though Ancients and Voids can still add value depending on your shard reserves. This Summon Rush is running alongside the latest Progressive Chance Summon Event, featuring a minimum x15 chance for targeted Legendary Champions. If any of the champions listed interest you, this could be a great time to go for both Fragments and summons.
Meanwhile, Dungeon Divers Event III will pair nicely with campaign farming for the Training Tournament or Fire Knight runs. To hit the 3,700 point target, expect roughly:
304 Stage 20 Normal dungeon runs (~4,864 energy)
or 273 Stage 10 Hard runs (~5,460 energy)
Day 10 Update: August 30th
New Events:
- Gear Enhancement Event III – 4,775 Points – 5 Fragments
Today’s Gear Enhancement Event gives us another opportunity to earn fragments while preparing your champions for future content. You’ll need to score 4,775 points to claim the 5 Fragments.
There are two effective approaches for completing this event:
Gear Cleansing Route
If you’ve got a stockpile of unused level 1 gear, upgrade items to level 8 or 12, then sell them for silver. This strategy reduces the silver cost significantly compared to full upgrades. You may end up keeping some decent pieces along the way, and it typically requires around 10–15 million silver.
Gear Upgrading Route
If you’re fine-tuning key champions, upgrading artifacts to level 16 is still the best route for long-term progress. Prioritize artifacts over accessories to conserve silver. This method may cost up to 20 million silver, but it’s worthwhile for serious account improvement.
This is the final Gear Enhancement Event of the fusion, so plan your silver wisely and don’t leave this one to the last minute!
Day 11 Update: August 31st
New Events:
- Spider Tournament – 2,250 Points – 5 Fragments
To claim your final 5 Fragments from the Spider Tournament, you’ll need to reach 2,250 Points. This typically requires around 140 runs of Stage 20 Normal, costing approximately 2,240 energy, or about 120 runs of Stage 10 Hard, which costs roughly 2,400 energy. Stick with Stage 20 Normal for the most energy-efficient progress.
Fusion Completed – Final Fragment Tally: 110/100
Congratulations to everyone who stuck through the full fusion and successfully secured their copy of Donatello! Whether you crushed every event or clawed your way across the finish line, your dedication has paid off. With a total of 110 Fragments available, this fusion offered a bit of breathing room for anyone who may have missed a few along the way.
If you’ve also been collecting the rest of the TMNT crew as well as Donatello and Michelangelo, your roster just got a serious upgrade — and you’re now well on your way toward that juicy Collection Bonus!
Until next time — Cowabunga! 🐢

be careful don’t use your tomes on champion training events it does not give any points
it gives points on champion training tournament
Given my current financial constraints, a full investment in these endeavors is not feasible. Furthermore, the paywall for Xena and He-Man is a point of concern. Considering these factors, is there a possibility of integrating these characters into shard-based acquisition systems? * I love my Ai 🤣🤣🤣
