Double Champion Rebalance Incoming – Ash’nar and Wurlim

Plarium has just announced a double Champion Rebalance in an upcoming patch, The Calamitus and Ailil are the next to get some love!

These changes will see a huge rise in value for both Champions!

Legendary Champion Rebalance: Wurlim Frostking

Wurlim Frostking

With this rebalance, we aimed to strengthen Wurlim’s kit, making him an even more effective control and support Champion.

  • The [Freeze] debuff on Wurlim’s A1 is now irresistible. Additionally, he will place a [Perfect Veil] buff on the ally with the lowest HP.
  • His A2 now applies a [Decrease ATK] debuff instead of [Decrease C. DMG], making it more impactful in battle.
  • A3 now has a chance to place [Freeze] on all enemies, and like his A1, it will be irresistible.
  • Lastly, his Aura has been reworked to provide a universal Increase DEF in all battles.

[Winds of Winter]

Attacks 1 enemy. Has a 30% chance of placing a [Freeze] debuff for 1 turn. This debuff cannot be resisted.
Places a [Perfect Veil] buff on the ally with the lowest HP for 2 turns.

[Frostbite Blast]

Attacks all enemies. Has a 70% chance of placing a 50% [Decrease ATK] debuff and a 50% [Decrease ACC] debuff for 2 turns.
These debuffs cannot be resisted.
Also places a 30% [Increase C.DMG] buff on all allies for 2 turns.

[Icegrave Armor]

Places a 25% [Strengthen] buff and a 60% [Increase DEF] buff on all allies for 2 turns.
Has a 60% chance of placing a [Freeze] debuff on all enemies for 1 turn. This debuff cannot be resisted. 

[Aura]

Increases Ally DEF in all battles by 33%.

Mythical Champion Rebalance: Ash’nar Dragonsoul BASE FORM

With the upcoming changes, our goal for Ash’nar Dragonsoul is not only to boost his damage in the Alternate form but also to refine his overall kit, ensuring each form serves its intended purpose more effectively.

Base form

  • Ash’nar’s 6* Ascension bonus has been changed, replacing Critical Damage with a Speed increase.
  • A1 has been improved with a new effect: each hit now has a 50% chance to extend all debuffs on the target. If this effect doesn’t trigger, the duration of the [HP Burn] debuff on the enemy will be extended by 1 turn instead.
  • Passive gains a new mechanic – each [HP Burn] debuff placed while in the Base Form increases Ash’nar’s HP and DEF by 5%, stacking up to 25%. These bonuses carry over between forms and do not reset.
  • Additionally, for each active [HP Burn] debuff on allies and enemies, your team will deal 3% more damage, making it a unique ability.

[Ignition Arc]

Attacks 1 enemy 3 times.
Each hit has a 50% chance of increasing the duration of all debuffs on the target by 1 turn.
Each hit has a 100% chance to increase the duration of a [HP Burn] debuff on the target by 1 turn instead, if the initial chance does not activate. 

[By Fire Be Healed[P]]

Each [HP Burn] debuff placed by this Champion while in their Base Form increases their MAX HP and DEF by 5% (stacks up to 25% across both Forms and will not reset).[HP Burn] debuffs placed on allies heal them instead of damaging them.
Allies deal 3% more damage for each active [HP Burn] debuff. 
If there are multiple cChampions on the team with this skill, only one will activate. 

[6-Star Ascension Bonus]

C.DMG: 50
SPD: 105 -> 115

Mythical Champion Rebalance: Ash’nar Dragonsoul ALT FORM

Alternate form

  • A1 has been improved with a chance to repeat each hit once without the [HP Burn] requirement, and each hit now has a chance to place a [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns.
  • A2 has been completely reworked. Now, Ash’nar first attacks a single target, spreading all their debuffs to all enemies. He then follows up with an AoE attack, increasing the duration of all debuffs on all enemies by 1 turn. Both hits will ignore 20% of enemy DEF.
  • A3 now grants all allies [Increase DEF] and [Increase C. DMG] buffs. Additionally, the [Provoke] debuff no longer requires the target to be under an [HP Burn] debuff.
  • Passive carries over the stacking HP and DEF boost from the Base Form, ensuring consistency across transformations.
  • Finally, Ash’nar will now ignore 20% of enemy DEF if they are under an [HP Burn] debuff, making him even more devastating against burned enemies.

[Thunderstar]

Attacks 1 enemy 2 times.. Has an extra 25% chance of repeating each hit.
Each hit also places a 60% [Decrease DEF] debuff for 2 turns.

Damage multiplier increased.

[Magma Geyser]

Attacks one enemy.
Applies a [Debuff Spread] effect, taking all debuffs from the target and placing them on all enemies.
Then, repeats the attack on all enemies. Increases the duration of all debuffs on all enemies by 1 turn.
Both attacks will ignore 20% of each target’s DEF.
Damage multiplier increased.

[Cataclysmic Smash]

Attacks all enemies. Before attacking, places a 60% Increase DEF] buff and a 30% [Increase C.DMG] buff on all allies for 2 turns.
Places a [Provoke] debuff for 1 turn. If the target of this skill is a Boss, places a [Provoke] debuff for 2 turns instead.
This attack cannot be a weak hit when hitting enemies under a [HP Burn] debuff.
Damage multiplier increased.

[By Fire Be Broken [P]]

Each [HP Burn] debuff placed by this Champion’s Base Form increases this Champion’s MAX HP and DEF by 5% (stacks up to 25% across both Forms and will not reset).
All of this Champion’s skills will ignore 20% of the enemy’s DEF if they are under a [HP Burn] debuff.[HP Burn] debuffs placed on allies heal them instead of damaging them.
