Fusion Guide: Gnishak Verminlord

Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Fusion Time Everybody!

It’s that time folks, Christmas Fusion 2022 – It’s time to get our hands on The Rat King himself, Gnishak Verminlord!

This fusion is a Traditional Fusion, meaning we will need to collect Epic and Rare Champions in order to Fuse Gnishak.

It’s important to note, there is only ONE Summon Event involved in this Fusion, the Summon Rush – Making this event significantly easier than most would have assumed.

Faction: Skinwalkers
Rarity: Legendary
Type: ATK
Affinity: Force

Is Gnishak worth going for?

Our advice is always relatively similar when it comes to fusions, since we never know what is going to happen to these champions in the future, it’s always worth picking up each and every fusion if you are able to.

However, there is a chance that Gnishak could hit VERY hard and potentially be very viable in the upcoming Accessory Ascension Dungeon, amongst other areas.

Bombs and Poisons are central to Gnishak’s abilities and he has a pretty complete and powerful setup to maximise his bombs potential. With the A3 he’ll place 2 bombs with a 2 turn detonation and then gains an extra turn. His A2 then reduces the duration of those bombs by 1 turn, ensuring the enemies will take bomb explosions on their next turn. He also has a 100% Decrease Attack alongside the ability to extend all poison debuffs. The cool thing about Gnishak over other bomb champions is that his bombs will deal double the damage to any enemies over 200k HP which is the case for most Higher Stage wave champions and almost guaranteed for bosses. He also can place bombs on his A1 although this is a random attack so less valuable on waves but incredibly valuable on single targets.

What makes Gnishak unique, is his passive with place 2 Poisons on any target when a bomb explodes and these poisons will be protected meaning they cannot be removed. Clearly, a crazy bomb and poison champion although you could face the issue of running out of debuff slots (10 is the max!) if he continues to extend poison debuffs all the time. Awesome to solo high-level Dungeons like Dragon 25 and Ice Golem 25 and great against Bommel. Will also see some play time in Clan Boss and Hydra Clan Boss and can be used in Arena as a bomb champion or a straight nuker with two back-to-back AOE’s!

Very Versatile champion!

Below you can find two videos from Hellhades showcasing this Champion in action in various areas of the game!

What you will need to fuse Gnishak

Champion Requirements:

Gnishak is a Traditional Fusion event that will require 4 Rank 5 fully leveled Epic champions to fuse into him. You will need the following epic champions:

However, to fuse these Epic Champions you will need to acquire 16 Rare Champions at rank 4 fully leveled. 4 Rares are then fused to earn 1 epic.

You will need to upgrade your Rare champions to Rank 4 and the Epic to Rank 5 and fully ascend those champions which will require food and potions.

Chicken Requirements:

  • 48x 3-Star Chickens
  • 16x 4-Star Chickens

Potion Requirements:

Affinity Lesser Greater Superior
Magic 0 40 12
Force 0 0 0
Spirit 160 104 12
Arcane 80 108 12

Corresponding Events

You will be able to take advantage of events taking place at the same time of the fusion. Typically these are Super Raids for Dungeons that take place at the same time as the tournaments. These allow you to earn twice the amount of rewards in one run (you will still need to use the same amount of energy as two runs). This should allow you to finish these much faster.

There will also be the typical x10 or x2 summoning events taking place.

Dungeon Events:

  • Thursday, December 15th – Super Raids – Ice Golem’s Peak.
  • Sunday, December 18th – Super Raids – Fire Knight’s Castle.
  • Thursday, December 22nd – Super Raids – Spider’s Den.
  • Sunday, December 25th – Super Raids – Dragon’s Lair.

Summon Events:

  • Predicted 10x Event (Friday 16th December)

All Tournament/Event Points are calculated based on a MAX LEVEL account. These points may vary depending on your account progression and you may require significantly fewer points than displayed in our guide.

Day 1:

New Events:
Ice Golem Tournament – 1x Riscarm – 2250 Points
Dungeon Divers Event – 1x Riscarm – 2850 Points

Today we’re kicking off the Christmas Fusion with a perfect Double-Dip!

Dive into the Ice Golem’s Peak and collect artifacts whilst simultaneously acquiring points for the Dungeon Divers Event, however, gaining the points necessary for the Riscarm in Ice Golem will not net you enough points for Dungeon Divers, so you may need to consider other means of points to finish this off, or continue farming Ice Golem beyond the rare point requirement.

2250 Points in Ice Golem will require around 140 runs of stage 20 based on the worst possible drops, of all 5* rare gear, of course, this figure can be significantly lower based on your drop rates. This will take ~2250 energy.

Day 2:

New Events:
Summon Rush – 1x Riscarm 1x Endalia – 2150/4925 Points

Time to crack open your shards guys and girls! This is the ONLY Summon Event of this Fusion, so don’t stress about saving shards for the next event, just pull what is necessary for this one.

For this weekend’s event, we have the following Summon Events on, which you can read more detail about here.

  • Guaranteed Ailil – 110 Void Shards

10x Event:

Day 3:

New Events:
Classic Arena Takedown – 390 Points – 1x Riscarm
Artifact Enhancement Event – 4000 Points – 1x Riscarm

To get this event’s rare, you’ll require 4000 points in the artifact enhancement event – there are some great methods for doing this easily, to save as much silver as possible.

Artifact Enhancement

1. If you pre-rolled your gear to level 7/11/15 before the event, you can go ahead and burn through your silver taking these up by 1 level each to gain quick easy points.

2. The other really good option for these events is doing a good old gear clear-out, rolling things that you might want to keep up to see how the stats play out, selling things that you won’t want to keep, a great guide for this is here.

For the Arena Takedown, Continue to use all daily battles, but keep an eye on the points, you may need to gem 1 or 2 refills to reach the points that you need depending on your arena tier/win rate. Of course, always aim to win as many fights as you can, don’t waste tokens for fights that you’re not sure of.

Day 4:

New Events:
Fire Knight Tournament – 2250 Points – 1x Riscarm
Champion Training Event – 6100/8250 Points – 2x Riscarm

To get the rare from Fire Knight,  it will take you 140 runs of stage 20 based on the worst possible drops, of all 5* rare gear, of course, this figure can be significantly lower based on your drop rates. This will take ~2250 energy.

As for today’s Training Event, 9350 Points may feel daunting but it’s important to remember we do have 5 days to complete this, Hellhades has released a video today to help you efficiently gain points for this type of event check it out below!

Hellhades has a very useful video for how to handle Training Events in fusions, check it out below!

Day 6:

New Events:
Dungeon Divers Event II – 2850 Points – 1x Riscarm

This event should be completely fairly passively, by finishing off your Champion Training Event, and with tomorrows Spider Tournament, of course you may need to farm some additional to finish it off once you’ve completed these events so keep an eye on your points and don’t get caught off-guard.

Day 7:

New Events:
Artifact Enhancement Event II – 1x Riscarm
Spider Tournament – 1x Riscarm

Haha I was sitting for 5min and spamming the refresh for this guide to pop up, magic timing.

Thanks for the great Fusion overview as always.

No champ chase means that I skip. I just pulled all my Sacreds and have Ukko, Mithrala, Scion and Akoth ready to be pulled. I already have a Bad-El for dungeons, a Samar and Geo for Bommal, and more arena nukers than I need. Only reason I’d maybe go for him was a fast Bommal team once I reach a stage where I’d want to farm it, but with it also being during Christmas I’m likely skipping. Seems like a great progression champion though!

No way to do it. The epics needed for fusion are really bad.

The epic quality doesn’t make getting the main fusion harder. If you save rescourses this guy is as achievable as most othe fusions.

They’ve made this fusion ridiculously hard. No champ chase and no overlapping dungeon diver events with more than one dungeon tournament. Sitting with 4 champs with full fragments ready to fuse and no benefit from them. If I had known they weren’t going to do the champ chase, I’d have gone for the previous double sacred pull. Plarium keeps making it more difficult for me to plan ahead and prepare properly for these events. Guess I’m just going to keep saving shard until I get a big pile. No sense wasting them this go around.

There’s a dungeon divers along with each dungeon but FK? And you can get an extra epic from summon rush. This is not harder than last fusion.

And I do have to say that this year’s Halloween and Christmas fusions were major disappointments. It’s becoming harder and harder to get enthused about any fusion events lately.

The Rat King is an insane champion for progressing. Yeah, not a Tatura, I get it, but he has endgame Bommal potential and could be a solid arena champion. Plus can solo Dragon 25 in 1:30 – 2 minutes.

What am i missing? There is only 15 events to get 16 rares??? Is this only doable if u lucky enough to pull a rare or epic.

The long Champ Training Event has double-rares available. All 16 are accounted for. without Sharding for Endalia.

Yeah, I have to agree, without 16 rares, those who scrape by wont be able to achieve this fusion. I just pulled two of the epics needed, but my alt accounts have not been that lucky.

LordBanshee
LordBanshee

Guess I’m the contrarian this time around. Pulled all my fragment champs to get the last few fusions. Have enough shards to get Endalia, and have found that none of the Epics are necessary for me, so I’ll be able to skip two dungeon divers, at least one artifact upgrade, and a dungeon of my choice. And the first Dungeon Diver here is easier than any of Morrigaine’s. Got enough gems and multibattles stashed to run all the dungeons overnight, so this fusion event will have minimal impact on my holiday life this year.
Bring on the Rat-Bomber.

I wanted this guy so bad for CB, It was perfect timing for transitioning to nightmare CB. Unfortunately I started saving energy pots up about a month ago as f2p. I currently have 7.5k energy stockpiled, Saved all my artifacts from farming Dragon Speed target to do artifact enhancement, I even prepped all the food to get the champions ranked. Also pre-prepped for the champion training by max leveling a literal shit ton of 3 stars and 2 stars before hand while saving all my brews. And then it dawned on me, There’s a summon rush. Because I’m f2p and don’t have endless resources of shards stockpiled. I won’t be able to pass the summon rush portion leaving me completely unable to get him. Pretty disheartening. RIP the dream, would have been nice for my first fusion participation event.

Yeah, that’s why you shouldn’t pull for these tempting summon events until you can beat UNM! Hope you’ll have the shards for the next one!

It’s looking like this is a spender fusion again, or ones who have saved up for a while. I only returned about a month ago and I don’t think I have enough energy alone to get this done. sucks. I understand legendary fusions should absolutely take work, but stuff like this reminds me why I dropped it in the first place..

What is the point of doing such events?
About 90% of players are not able to do stage 20 (I do), so who is this event for?
About 50K + energy – depends on how strong the player is, if weak or medium, he needs this energy, e.g. 60K – CHAAAAA
You have to be a real idiot to buy energy for a few hundred dollars/euros.
I’m not an idiot, that’s why I don’t take part in these events – simple.

I will add
that Gnishak is a very good character and I would like to have him, but not at THIS price.

SS2020user
SS2020user

You earn ca. 75% of the energy needed for a fusion during the fusion, and for max 1000 gems you can get it. A majority of players (that watch cc’s) can beat 20 Dragon at least if they know what teams to use (go to the hh idscord for team suggestions based on your roster), and the price is amazing. The only real hard part is shards. I did my first fusion (Bivald) while Spider 14, Dragon 20, IG 17 and FK 15. Then he along with a great team suggestion for Spider helped me progress in Spider and FK. Fusions are very achievable for early-midgame players.

Extremely reasonable for a summon rush. Ususally they’re around 5-8 sacreds, and with there being no champ chase this is prob one of the easiest fusions all year.

euronymous85

Paladynka, you have clearly got something wrong. This is one of easiest fusions so far. Im currently doing FK 20 (find it reasonable fast and good drop for tournament points). around 1:1 energy:points ratio, which is fine. If you struggle,go lower.
Next, 50k, 60k energy? what are you talking about, almost all energy you can farm during fusion. I started on Friday with 35k energy, today (Sunday) have 32k left and i got all 7 riscarms (farming 8th atm) and I even don’t do my dailies.
you don’t have shads for summon event bcs you cant wait to accumulate? use green ones, I KNOW that most ftp players can stockpile large amount over months/years. YES its time consuming to summon 1-2k shards but hey, what do you want, to lego drop from the sky to your vault?

Claptrap

I’m FTP and do most fusions – just save gems and silver for them. Hit CB every day and Bob’s yer uncle. I’ve pulled 7 voids and 40 ancients for this one (will finish the rare with mysteries). Didn’t get a 10x champ, but did get my 3rd Helicath and also got a fusion epic from the ancients (Endalia), so it isn’t always a hard slog to get these.

This is the easiest fusion I’ve done, and I’ve participated in about 75% of them this year. I’m super glad there’s only one champ chase/summon event, that is my most constrained resource. Otherwise, get your grind on and you’ll get this done.

i do not know if is the easyiest…but is doable…if you are watching hh videos since helicath fusion you might learn how to play this game or do fusions…. yeah it will need tons of energy….tons of shards….but i have it because i learn to save when is needed to do so, a f2p player….time and pacience are the main ingredients for fusions…..

Unfortunately it’s a 2k plus green shard pull without a 2x, but this champ looks fun and has some good value. Unique abilities are always worth going for, we never know what future needs will be. What did I do with my torturehelm for example! Lol

Well, let’s see. Had enough Voids and Sacreds to reach Endala in the Summon Rush.

Then I pull Aeshma with a Sacred. No Legoes, as usual, but Aeshma more than makes up for it. Did catch a second Tayrel.

We grab Endala. Two down.

The four Riscarms I have now will become either Morag or Trumborr. Three down.

Now I get to pick the two Arena Tourneys, one of which is almost completed, and the lengthy Champ Training, which I was was gonna do anyways, for two Riscarms. That will create the last Epic.

Bring on The Rat King!

like any fusion you have to prepare, but not just a few days need to prepare at least a week or 2.
save your level 30 and level 40 feed to upgrade in training tournament. save energy, silver etc also.
i used over 1500 mystery shards for summon rush and got a stack of points and pulled a Riscarm and pulled one Riscarm with ancient shards too.
so that should make the rest of the events a big easier, can afford to miss 2. :-)
no Champion Chase makes it a bit easier as long as you have the silver for the 3 artefact enhancement tournaments.
overall a medium difficulty event if you have prepared beforehand. very difficult if you have not prepared and not a whale.
