Leminisi the Gold-Wing: Free Legendary in RAID: Shadow Legends
Raid: Shadow Legends is introducing a new free login champion—Leminisi the Gold-Wing—as part of an upcoming event cycle. With past login champs like Artak, Sun Wukong, and Alice leaving big shoes to fill, the question is: does Leminisi measure up?
Let’s dig into her skill set, where she might be useful, and whether she’s worth investing in once she joins your roster.
First Impressions
Leminisi is a Force affinity, attack-based champion from the Sylvan Watchers faction. Interestingly, she fills a previously unoccupied role—the only Force attack champ in the faction so far, which helps round out roster diversity for faction wars or Sylvan-specific content.
Visually, she’s got style—dual blades and a single gold wing make for a strong aesthetic—but as always, it’s what’s under the hood that counts.
Skill Breakdown

A1 – Auric Talons
- Double hit on a single target.
- Each hit has up to a 50% chance to reduce the value of the target’s shield by 10%.
- If the target is under a shield, ignores 50% of their resistance.
- If not shielded, ignores defense instead.
This is a bit of a strange one. Reducing shield value while also doing damage is mechanically awkward. Still, ignoring defense could make this hit fairly strong, though it’s hard to gauge without numbers.
A2 – Buff Strip & Turn Meter Damage
- Double hit, each hit removes two random buffs.
- Ignores 50% of resistance if the target is from the Corrupted Alliance.
- Damage increases based on the target’s turn meter (up to 100%).
This skill is interesting. If timed well, it could be a serious buff-stripping nuke—potentially stripping four buffs and scaling high if the enemy has a full turn bar.
A3 – AoE Debuff Utility
- Two-hit AoE attack.
- Hit 1: Places Heal Reduction (100% chance when booked).
- Hit 2: Places Block Buffs (75% chance when booked).
- Ignores 50% resistance against Corrupted targets.
Heal Reduction and Block Buffs can be valuable in specific areas like Doom Tower or against certain dungeon bosses. That said, the AoE nature gives it decent PvE utility, but the usefulness will depend on where you’re using it.
Passive:
- Takes 15% less damage from enemies under Heal Reduction.
- Fills her turn meter by 5% whenever an enemy is healed or gains a shield.
Aura:
- Increases ally attack in all battles.
These effects are decent but not game-breaking. The passive will help her stay alive against support-heavy enemies, while the aura gives a general boost to damage teams—helpful for early-game players.
Is she good or a dud?
Let’s be real—Leminisi doesn’t quite live up to previous login champs like Artak or Alice. Her skill set has some niche value, particularly in campaign progression, early Arena, or certain dungeons like the Nether Spider (if paired with Geomancer strategies).
However, she seems awkwardly tuned. The Corrupted Alliance synergy only matters in limited scenarios. Her skills are mostly single-target focused or have underwhelming utility outside of specific PvE encounters. This makes her less appealing for late-game or PvP players.
Where she might fit
While she’s unlikely to carry endgame accounts, here’s where Leminisi may see value:
- Early- to mid-game campaign progression thanks to her solid damage scaling.
- Nether Spider boss fights with AoE Heal Reduction setups.
- Sylvan Faction Wars, where her typing and affinity plug a gap, or her debuffs are required for 3-starring a stage.
- New or low-resource accounts needing a damage dealer with some built-in utility.
Final Verdict
Sadly, Leminisi the Gold-Wing feels like a step down from past free champions. Unless her multipliers turn out to be exceptional, most players will likely use her as faction filler or food. That said, free is free, and she may still be worth building for early content or very specific niche strategies.
If you’re a newer player, she can help you push through midgame walls—but if you’re deep into Raid, don’t expect her to shake up your teams.
Free is Free but wow this one really sucks lol. Hope all skills are leg or better
She needs a buff., heals, taunt with stone skin, these days people need to be pvp and pve orientated. She will have use for Amius.
Well… she might be a vault guardian for now, for late/endgame players but i wouldnt say she’s food (don’t even mention this on the site, a newbie might come and read it and feed her to some Kael :D ).. she’s a leggy after all and who knows, maybe/hopefully she will get a buff in the future
