Masahiro the Bell Monk Fusion Guide

Welcome to our Masahiro the Bell Monk Fusion Guide, where we’ll provide you with all of the information necessary to complete this year’s RAID: Shadow Legends May Fusion.

This Fusion is a Fragment Fusion, meaning you’ll need to collect Fusion Champion Fragments by earning them from various Tournaments and Events, before summoning him in the Summoning Portal.

Be sure to check back daily throughout the Masahiro Fusion to see our breakdown of how many points you will require for each event and the best way to earn them and your fragments!

Masahiro Fusion Type: Fragment

There are three types of fusion events: traditional, fragmented, and hybrid. Masahiro is a Fragment Collector Fusion, which means, unlike a Traditional Fusion, we do not need to collect any other Champions to fuse him. Instead, we will be collecting Fragments by completing Fusion Events and Tournaments.

Once you’ve completed enough Events and Tournaments to acquire 100 Fragments, you may Summon Masahiro from the Summoning Portal.

One of the best parts about Fragment Collector Fusions is that there is no time limit on claiming your Legendary Champion, meaning you can hold on to them for points in an upcoming Clan vs Clan or Champion Chase Tournament for a big drop of points!

Masahiro the Bell Monk Skills

Ring of Dissonance

A simple but effective AoE attack that places a 30% Decrease C.Rate debuff. While not game-changing, this adds another layer of survivability by reducing incoming damage consistency from enemies, especially in longer fights.

Redemptive Fervor (Cooldown: 4 turns → 3 when booked)

This is where Masahiro starts to shine. Before attacking, he has a high chance to transfer all debuffs from your team onto a single enemy, functioning similarly to a cleanse — but with added offensive value.

On top of that, he:

  • Heals all allies based on his MAX HP
  • Applies a Strengthen buff

This makes it a powerful recovery + stabilisation tool, especially after your team has been hit with heavy debuffs.

Humble Savior (Cooldown: 5 turns → 4 when booked)

The centerpiece of his kit.

Revives all allies with 50% HP and 50% Turn Meter. Can be used even if no one is dead (important for timing)

Applies:

This makes him extremely versatile. He’s not just reviving — he’s actively swinging momentum back in your favor with crowd control and debuff pressure.

For My Sins (Passive)

A very strong passive that builds value over time:

Allies take 1% less damage per turn (up to 15%), rewarding longer fights
Revived allies gain temporary immunity to most forms of crowd control until their next turn

This is huge for PvP, preventing revived champions from being instantly locked down again. It also adds consistency in PvE where control effects can otherwise shut your team down.

Aura

Increases Force Ally SPD by 25% in all battles

A niche but interesting Aura that could enable creative team compositions, especially in Siege or faction-focused builds.

Masahiro Fusion Events

As part of the Fusion, we will have 2 summoning events in the Fusion Schedule, one Champion Chase Tournament, and one Summon Rush Event.

  • Friday 8th May – Summon Rush Event
  • Friday 15th May – Champion Chase Tournament

With Super-Raids now being a permanent Feature in Dungeons, Plarium used to enable them specially for Fusions, however, we now get Drop Fever Events to boost our chances of specific gear sets.

  • On Thursday, May 7th, we’re planning to launch x2 event for dropping Shadowkin Accessories at Spider’s Den.
  • On Sunday, May 10th, we’re planning to launch x2 event for dropping Regeneration set artifacts at Fire Knight’s Castle.
  • On Thursday, May 14th, we’re planning to launch x2 event for dropping Cursed set artifacts at Ice Golem’s Peak.
  • On Sunday, May 17th, we’re planning to launch x2 event for dropping Speed set artifacts at Dragon’s Lair.

These boosts will coincide with their respective Dungeon Tournament throughout the Fusion Event!

Day 1 Update: May 7th

New Events:

  • Spider Tournament – 5 Fragments – 2250 Points
  • Champion Training Tournament – 10(5+5) Fragments (+10 Bonus Fragments) – 3,700/6,800 Points
  • Gear Hunters Event I – 5 Fragments – 3,700 Points

Welcome to the start of the Fusion!

To get the 5 Fragments from the Spider Tournament, you’ll need to earn 2,250 Points. This works out to around 140 runs of Stage 20 Normal, costing approximately 2,240 energy, or 120 runs of Stage 10 Hard, costing around 2,400 energy. As usual, Stage 20 Normal remains the most efficient route when farming gear for fusion tournaments. Remember — gear RNG can vary, so your actual run count may differ slightly.

For Gear Hunters Event I, the 3,700-point target is a standard fusion milestone. This will require roughly 304 runs of Stage 20 Dungeons at a cost of 4,864 energy, or around 273 runs of Stage 10 Hard, costing 5,460 energy. If you’re farming Fire Knight today, you’ll naturally progress both events together — efficient double dipping!

As for the Champion Training Tournament, to maximise your points in this Event, it is important to level up your chickens before using them as food. You can easily achieve this by adding some brews to the 4*/5* chickens before feeding them. This simple step will greatly assist you in achieving the necessary points to complete the Event. Skill tomes also give you some fantastic point return here, if you are not saving them for a Clan vs Clan Tournament, now could be a great time to upgrade the skills you’ve been waiting for!

Day 2 Update: May 8th

New Events:

  • Summon Rush Event – 20 Fragments – 2050/2800/3500/5100 Points
  • Gear Enhancement Event I – 5 Fragments – 4775 Points

Next up, it’s time to crack open your shards with the Summon Rush Event in full flow, paired with a Progressive Chance Event featuring some incredibly powerful Champions who can really enhance your account!

The Fragments from this summon rush are split up into 4 sets of 5, with the final set requiring 5,100 points!

And next, the Gear Enhancement event. Now is the best time to take advantage of these bonus events to build the Champions you need for upcoming content progression, or to do some gear cleansing. Artifact Enhancement can be done in two ways: you can gear cleanse to the points or you can upgrade pieces to rank 16.

Gear Cleansing Route

If you have a number of artifacts on level 1, an efficient way to claim the rare Champion is to upgrade Artifacts to level 8 or 12 and then sell the items for silver. This still remains a negative silver gain but it’s far less punishing than upgrading Artifacts to level 16. You may choose to keep some good pieces (a bonus!). This route might take only 10-15 million silver to complete the event.

Gear Upgrading Route

If you are looking to complete some Champion builds, then Level 16 artifacts are important to maximise their potential. We highly recommend you prioritise Artifacts instead of upgrading Accessories as this will be significantly less silver to complete the event. This route will take you approximately 20 million silver to complete.

Fragment Counter: 45/100

Day 3 Update: May 9th

New Events:

  • Classic Arena Takedown I – 5 Fragments – 390 Points

The classic arena takedown should be relatively straightforward if you are able to fight and win at least half of your daily tokens. At Gold 5 you need to win 30 fights over 72 hours to claim the Fragments. This will scale lower so pay attention but if you are lower in your account level then your point requirements should scale with your arena rank.

Fragment Counter: 50/100

Day 4 Update: May 10th

New Events:

  • Fire Knight Tournament – 5 Fragments – 2250 Points

To get the 5 Fragments from the Fire Knight Tournament, you’ll need to earn 2,250 Points.

Winning this will be no easy feat, as you need to obtain a minimum of 5,000 points for max-level accounts, but 1% of the playerbase will be lucky winners of this!
