RAID May Rebalances: Septimus and Yoshi the Drunkard
Plarium has rolled out May balance changes for two older Legendary champions, Septimus and Yoshi the Drunkard. Both updates focus on strengthening their existing kits rather than changing how they play.
These buffs aim to improve consistency, damage output, and overall usefulness across modern content.
Septimus Rebalance Breakdown

Septimus receives a damage-focused update that pushes him back into relevance, mainly in wave-based and faction-restricted content.
Key Changes
His A1 now ignores 30% DEF. This raises his base damage and improves his chance to secure kills, which still trigger Extra Turns and cooldown resets on his A2.
His A2 (Holy Sword) is now an AoE attack instead of single-target. It still ignores Shield and Block Damage and scales from enemy MAX HP, but now hits all enemies on a shorter 3-turn cooldown. The damage multiplier has increased as well.
His Passive sees two major upgrades:
- Debuff extension now triggers on every hit and cannot be resisted.
- He gains 30% increased damage when attacking enemies with higher MAX HP, which applies in most boss fights.
His Aura increases from 23% to 30% Ally ATK in all battles.
How Strong Is Septimus Now?
Septimus performs much better in wave content. His AoE MAX HP hit gives him strong clearing power, especially in Faction Wars Hard where damage caps do not limit him.
The improved A1 creates better turn cycling. He can chain kills, reset cooldowns, and move straight into his AoE nuke.
In boss content like Hydra, he gains some value from the passive and debuff extension. Still, his single-hit MAX HP scaling limits his damage compared to multi-hit options.
Overall, this is a solid upgrade, but it targets mid-game and faction-focused content more than top-end meta teams.

Yoshi the Drunkard Rebalance Breakdown

Yoshi receives a broader upgrade that improves his control, support, and burn utility across multiple game modes.
Key Changes
His A1 now places a Stun with a higher chance. If the Stun fails, it applies Decrease RES for 2 turns. This gives consistent value, even against bosses that cannot be stunned.
His A2 changes from random hits to a full AoE attack. It now places Decrease ACC and HP Burn on all enemies, making him far more reliable for Burn strategies.
His A3 (Battle Toast) now includes a 20% Turn Meter boost for all allies. It still places Increase ATK and Increase ACC, and now applies True Fear to all enemies with a higher chance.
His Passive increases Turn Meter gain from 4% to 5% each time an enemy receives a buff.
His base Speed increases from 103 to 108.
How Strong Is Yoshi Now?
Yoshi becomes a much more complete support champion. He brings team buffs, Turn Meter control, crowd control, and AoE HP Burn in one kit.
His A1 now helps land debuffs through Decrease RES, which pairs well with his Increase ACC buff. This makes him strong for progression teams that struggle with accuracy requirements.
The AoE Burn on a short cooldown stands out. It gives him strong value in Spider and other wave-based content.
His Turn Meter boost adds tempo to teams, which makes him useful in Arena, Hydra, and Chimera setups.
