RAID Update 11.75: New Champions!
Plarium has revealed the Update 11.75 Highlights for RAID: Shadow Legends, with several major changes arriving in the coming days.
The headline change targets the powerful Mercurial Artifact Set and its Total Guard buff. Players will soon have a new way to counter Total Guard through Provoke.
There are also some welcome changes to Progressive Chance Events and regular Summon Boost Events. Progressive Chance rates will now climb as high as x30, while the familiar x10 Summon Boost is being increased to x15.
Update 11.75 also brings changes to Siege, Treasure Tickets, and the previously announced rebalances for Robar and Abbess.
Mercurial Set Is Getting a New Counter
Mercurial has become one of RAID’s strongest end-game Gear Sets, largely thanks to the protection offered by its 9-piece bonus and Total Guard.
Plarium says player feedback showed that changes were needed. Update 11.75 introduces a direct counter without removing the main strengths of the Set.
Provoke debuffs will now bypass Total Guard.
Placing Provoke on a Champion will not consume one of their Total Guard stacks. The Provoke itself will simply bypass the protection and land on the Champion.
There is another key part to this interaction. A Champion under an active Provoke debuff will not receive a new Total Guard stack at the start of their turn if they have run out of stacks.
The Champion must remove the Provoke before their Total Guard stacks can start refreshing again.
How Total Guard Will Work After Update 11.75
A 9-piece Mercurial Set grants the wearer 3 Total Guard stacks at the start of each Round.
Each stack can block one instance of incoming damage from an enemy Champion’s skill and the effects tied to that attack. Total Guard can block effects such as:
- Debuffs other than Provoke
- Guaranteed and unresistable debuffs
- Destroy MAX HP effects
- HP equalisation effects
- HP swapping effects
- Debuff Spread
- Turn Meter reduction and equalisation
- Instant activation of Poison and HP Burn
- Polymorph
Champions with at least one Total Guard stack remain immune to negative effects apart from Increase Cooldown and the newly added exception for Provoke.
Total Guard stacks are still lost when the Champion would take damage from another Champion’s skill. This includes damage received through Ally Protection, Reflect Damage, and Passive Skills that share or reflect damage.
Damage from Masteries, Blessings, and Relics will not remove Total Guard stacks.
Bosses will continue to ignore Total Guard entirely.
How Big Is the Mercurial Change
This gives players a clear way to attack Mercurial teams rather than trying to burn through every Total Guard stack first.
Provoke Champions gain extra value from the change, especially in PvP. A well-timed Provoke can control a Mercurial Champion and stop their Total Guard from refreshing once the existing stacks disappear.
Mercurial still retains its main defensive mechanics. The Set has not lost its starting stacks, and Total Guard continues to block a huge range of effects.
The difference is that it now has a defined counter.
Progressive Chance Events Are Being Buffed

Shard events are receiving another major change in Update 11.75.
Progressive Chance Events currently increase the chance of summoning your selected Champion through x15, x20, and x25 stages.
Update 11.75 increases those multipliers to:
- x20
- x25
- x30
The new maximum is a sizeable increase over the current x25 cap.
Plarium has also changed how players can reach the maximum x30 multiplier. Players will be able to unlock it after opening a set number of Shards or after summoning a Legendary Champion.
The exact number of Shards required was not stated in the Update Highlights.
x10 Summon Boosts Are Becoming x15
Regular Summon Boost Events are getting stronger too.
The existing x10 chance to summon a featured Champion will be increased to x15.
This change does not increase the base chance of summoning a Legendary or Epic Champion from a Shard. It increases the chance that a Champion of the relevant rarity will be the featured Champion.
With Progressive Chance Events reaching x30 and regular boosts moving to x15, Update 11.75 raises the featured Champion multipliers across both event formats.
Siege Gets a Useful Battle History Feature

Siege is receiving a small but useful quality-of-life update.
During the Prep Phase, Clan members will be able to view their Clan’s map from the previous Battle Phase.
A dedicated button will appear within the Battle Report tab.
This gives Clans an easier way to review their previous Siege performance. Players can check defensive placements and see how the previous battle played out before preparing for the next opponent.
Treasure Tickets UI Changes
Treasure Tickets are receiving several visual and interface changes in Update 11.75.
One of the clearest additions is a new Free Roll button.
The button will appear directly within your Bastion whenever you have a Free Roll available. This should make available rolls much easier to spot without checking the feature manually.

Four New Legendary Champions Join RAID

Four New Legendary Champions Join RAID
Update 11.75 also introduces four new Legendary Champions across the Dwarves, Sylvan Watchers, Skinwalkers, and Shadowkin.
The new Champions are Thralia, She Who Stands, Owein Winterflame, Thayla Hammerhorn, and Miyoko, Flower of Yakai. Each brings a very different kit, with mechanics built around Destroy MAX HP, Shields, Reflect Damage, debuffs, and skill cooldowns.
Thralia, She Who Stands
Legendary | Magic | HP | Dwarves
Thralia is built around Destroy MAX HP and gains more power as enemy MAX HP is destroyed.
Her A1, Crystalline Fury, attacks one enemy and ignores Shield buffs. It also ignores 1% of the target’s DEF for every 1% of their destroyed MAX HP. Killing an enemy resets the cooldown of her Stand With Me! skill.
Stand With Me! attacks all enemies twice. Each hit ignores Unkillable buffs and 15% of each target’s DEF. The skill gains another 1% DEF Ignore for every 1% of destroyed MAX HP on the target. A kill resets the cooldown of Unflinching Bulwark.
Unflinching Bulwark places a 30% Increase C. RATE, 30% Increase C. DMG, and Shield on Thralia for 3 turns. The Shield equals 30% of her MAX HP, and she gains an Extra Turn.
The Passive part of the skill makes Thralia immune to Ignore DEF effects used against her while that Shield remains active.
Her Passive, For Runegarden!, pushes the Destroy MAX HP theme even further. Her attacks destroy 2.5% of the target’s MAX HP, while attacks against her destroy 5% of the attacker’s MAX HP. These values are reduced against Bosses.
Thralia also increases her own MAX HP as she attacks or receives attacks, stacking up to 50%. She deals 1% more damage for every 1% of the target’s destroyed MAX HP.
Her Aura increases Ally HP in all Battles by 40%, but only for Dwarves.
Owein Winterflame
Legendary | Spirit | Defense | Sylvan Watchers
Owein Winterflame is a defensive support Champion built around Shields, Reflect Damage, and the newer Magma Shield mechanic.
His A1, Latesummer’s Ward, attacks all enemies twice. Each hit has a chance to remove Shield and Magma Shield buffs, plus one other random buff. This removal cannot be resisted if Owein has a Shield or Magma Shield active.
Emberwatch’s Boon equalises the HP levels of all allies and brings them up to the ally with the highest current HP. It then heals the team based on Owein’s DEF.
The skill also places a 30% Reflect Damage buff on all allies for 2 turns. Allies already at full HP receive a protected version of Reflect Damage.
Ever-Burning places a 60% Increase DEF buff and Shield on all allies for 2 turns.
Its Passive effect places a Magma Shield on an ally for 1 turn each time that ally’s Shield expires or gets removed. The Magma Shield value scales from Owein’s DEF.
His Passive, Winter’s Flame, reduces incoming damage by 25%. That reduction becomes 50% while Owein is protected by a Shield or Magma Shield. The reduced damage is then reflected back to enemies.
Owein can also place Unkillable for 1 turn when he or an ally kills an enemy through Reflect Damage, passive Reflect Damage, or a Magma Shield.
Thayla Hammerhorn
Legendary | Magic | Support | Skinwalkers
Thayla Hammerhorn brings buff removal, team healing, debuffs, a full-team revive, and one of the strongest support Passives in this group.
Her A1, Skullbreak Swing, attacks one enemy and has a 75% chance to place Block Buffs for 2 turns. She also heals all allies by 10% of her MAX HP.
Devastating Ram attacks all enemies twice. The first hit has a 75% chance to remove all buffs from every enemy.
The second hit places a 60% Decrease DEF and 30% Decrease SPD on all enemies for 2 turns.
Herald of Loriaca revives all dead allies with 50% HP and 50% Turn Meter. It then places a 60% Increase DEF and 30% Increase SPD on all allies for 2 turns.
The skill also places Stun on all enemies for 1 turn and can still be used with no dead allies.
Her Passive, For the Herd, makes enemies under a debuff placed by Thayla receive 15% more damage and deal 15% less damage.
Her Aura increases Ally SPD in all Battles by 20%.
Miyoko, Flower of Yakai
Legendary | Void | Attack | Shadowkin
Miyoko is built around putting enemy skills on cooldown and punishing teams that rely on cooldown reduction.
Her A1, Murderous Slice, attacks one enemy and ignores 25% of the target’s DEF. It also has a 50% chance to increase the cooldown of one random enemy skill by 2 turns.
This cooldown increase cannot be resisted if the target already has at least one skill on cooldown.
Seductive Saboteur attacks one enemy twice. Each hit ignores 25% DEF, plus Block Damage and Stone Skin.
If Miyoko kills the target, she randomly puts one skill from every other enemy on cooldown and gains an Extra Turn. The cooldown effect cannot be resisted.
Graceful Bladework attacks all enemies. Each target can receive extra hits based on the number of active skills they have on cooldown, up to 2 extra hits.
The damage increases by 5% for every remaining turn of cooldown across that enemy’s skills, stacking up to 50%.
If at least one extra hit lands, Miyoko places a Magma Shield on herself equal to 300% of her MAX HP for 2 turns.
Her Passive, Two Steps Ahead, prevents enemies from increasing her own skill cooldowns.
Enemies with skills placed on cooldown by Miyoko cannot land critical hits against her.
The Active effect punishes enemy cooldown reduction. If an enemy uses a skill that reduces cooldowns, Miyoko reduces the cooldown of every ally skill except her own by 2 turns.
Her Aura increases Ally SPD in Arena by 30%.
