Kurosa The Covetous

BASE FORM

Kurosa brings the Fortify buff through her A3, reducing the effectiveness of enemy Ignore DEF effects by 25%. She now places this alongside Unkillable on all allies, while granting herself Taunt to draw enemy attacks towards her. This combination makes her a great option for protecting allies, particularly against the Demon Lord, where she can redirect the Stun to herself and support certain strategies. She can also provide valuable protection against encounters such as the Phantom Shogun & Chimera’s Ram Form.

Her passive further strengthens her survivability, reducing incoming damage by 15% for each living ally while making her immune to Fear and True Fear. Whenever Kurosa transforms into her Alternate Form, she now fully heals herself, giving her the opportunity to unleash her offensive skills. She also automatically transforms and gains an Extra Turn when her last living ally is killed, allowing her to respond fast.

Building Kurosa with high ATK remains important, even in her support role. Her A1 now restores 10% of each ally’s destroyed MAX HP while providing increased healing based on her ATK, making her particularly useful against enemies that destroy MAX HP. Her A2 also removes all debuffs from allies before placing Increase ATK and a stronger Shield. Together, these abilities provide an excellent balance of cleansing, recovery, and team support.

ALTERNATE FORM

Once Kurosa transforms into her Alternate Form, her focus shifts towards dealing damage and controlling enemies. Her passive now increases her damage by 15% for each dead ally and each enemy under Fear or True Fear, giving her greater offensive potential. She also becomes immune to fear effects herself and fills her Turn Meter by 15% whenever she lands a critical hit, helping her cycle through attacks faster.

Her A3 removes all debuffs from herself before applying a protected 15% Shatter buff, 30% Increase C.RATE, and 50% Increase ATK for 3 turns. Shatter increases her Ignore DEF by 15%, combining well with sets such as Merciless or Lethal and masteries like Helmsmasher. She then places True Fear on all enemies for 2 turns before gaining an Extra Turn, setting her up to capitalise on these offensive buffs. Importantly, enemies with equal or lower ATK than Kurosa cannot resist her True Fear.

Her A2 follows up with an AoE attack that steals all enemy buffs before placing Weaken for 2 turns. This skill now deals 15% more damage for each buff stolen, making it particularly dangerous against heavily buffed teams. Enemies with equal or lower ATK than Kurosa, as well as Bosses, cannot resist these effects, giving her reliable buff removal and debuff placement when built with sufficient ATK.

Finally, her A1 attacks a single enemy three times, with an increased damage multiplier following her buffs. If this attack kills the target, Kurosa deals pure damage to all remaining enemies equal to 30% of the defeated target’s MAX HP, or 10% of their MAX HP against Bosses and minions.
