Kurosa The Covetous

A surge of Chaos has erupted from the underworld of Teleria, as one of the Mythical rulers of the Demonspawn rises at Siroth’s command. Tasked with rallying her demonic forces, she marches to obliterate all who dare stand in their path. Kurosa sacrifices her pawns to fuel her growing power – then, upon their death, she transforms into a ruthless master of destruction, capable of shattering her enemies in an instant.

BASE FORM:

Kurosa the Covetous is the first champion to introduce two unique effects: Fortify in her base form, and Shatter in her alternate form. Through her A3, she applies a 25% Fortify buff to herself, reducing the impact of enemy Ignore Defence effects by that amount. She also places Taunt on herself and Unkillable on all allies. This setup allows Kurosa to absorb targeted attacks while protecting her team from AoE attacks. It’s especially effective in encounters like the Demon Lord, where she can redirect the Stun to herself and enable Unkillable speed-tuning strategies, as well as against the Chimera’s Ram Form to help keep allies alive.

Alongside the Fortify buff, she also passively receives 15% less damage for each living ally, making her feel nearly invincible as long as your team stays intact. This damage reduction is especially valuable if you’re building toward her alternate, damage dealing form, while still using her as a support. Once your last ally falls, she instantly transforms – setting her up to unleash stronger attacks.

Building her with high Attack is essential, even in her support role. Her A1 scales healing based on her Attack, and her A2 provides a Shield to allies also tied to her Attack stat. This A2 also offers a full team cleanse and an Increase Attack buff, delivering a strong mix of defensive utility and offensive setup. Kurosa blends survivability, team support, and strong transformation potential, making her a versatile and dangerous champion.

ALTERNATE FORM:

As she Metamorphs into her winged form, Kurosa becomes a nightmare to face. To unlock her full damage potential, it’s ideal for her Metamorph to occur after allies have fallen – she deals 15% more damage and gains 10% Turn Meter for each critical hit she lands, for each of her dead allies. In this form, she also introduces a brand-new buff: Shatter, which increases a champion’s Ignore Defence by 7.5%, or 15% in her case. This synergizes perfectly with sets like Merciless or Lethal, and masteries such as Helmsmasher, pushing this Ignore Defence further.

In addition to Shatter, Kurosa applies Increase Crit Rate to herself, then places True Fear on all enemies, followed by gaining an Extra Turn. It’s crucial to build her with high ATK, as her debuffs become irresistible against targets with equal or lower Attack than hers. Her A2 follows up with an AoE attack that first steals all buffs from enemies and then applies Weaken, setting her up for a powerful nuke – just be cautious of triggering Polymorph.

Her A1 is a triple-hitting attack, and if the initial target is killed, it deals pure damage to all enemies. The damage equals 30% of the initial target’s MAX HP if they are not a boss or minion; if they are, the value drops to 10%. This gives her an extra burst of damage across the board when defeating her target.
