Nais the Shadowthief Overview

Ancient scriptures written by Arbais The Stonethorn mentions an oversized crow that lurked in the shadows… leaving distinctive marks on his prey. A local thief searched the forests in hope to find this beast, however, he was slashed by talons without laying eyes on the threat. As he stumbled back to his home, his blood was infused with the powers of this beast, turning Nais in to the crow he searched for. Nais The Shadowthief is a Mythical champion from the Sylvan Watchers Faction.

BASE FORM
As a mythical champion, Nais can switch between two Metamorphs, with each form granting a different set of skills. His base form is revolved around inflicting damage to his foe, and unleashing his ultimate power against bosses. It’s this Thief’s Omen [A3] to sense danger, so he deals double damage to bosses, whilst destroying various stats & the MAX HP of enemies, then blocking their revive if killed. The more you can decrease your targets stats, the more powerful he becomes, whilst being a strong counter to the likes of Sun Wukong. Nais can also ignore various conditions, such as Shields, Block Damage & Unkillable with the A1, then Shields, Stealing Turn Meter & not triggering counterattacks [A3]. This will be powerful for slaying enemies such as Leorius & Valkyrie, and cycling turns effectively to inflict more attacks. Lastly, Nais will deal 5% more damage for every 10% your enemies has lost, whilst preventing his death upon fatal hits, forcing him into his Alternate Form.

ALTERNATE FORM
After preventing his death with a Feathershield, Shadowthief’s alternate form is revolved around self protection & crowd controlling enemies. The synergy of removing Debuffs, placing Continuous Heals, then Counterattack & Block Damage buffs will replenish the health from his base form. As this champion can place Provoke or Stun effects according to his health percentage, this may lead to more counterattacks to enable the A1 heals, or potentially killing enemies to revive your allies [P]. Lastly, various stats will be increased by 15% for every dead enemy & ally [including bosses & minions], making him a real tough champion to take down!

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
