Noct the Paralyzer Overview

This champion was bitten by a venomous spider which should have paralyzed him! However this has infused a power within him to paralyze anyone in his path! Noct The Paralyzer is a Legendary Magic HP champion from the Dark Elves faction.

Noct has a versatile skill set to crowd control and debuff his foe, whilst having the potential to protect & heal your allies. With the Dreamer’s Demise (A2) he attacks all enemies, and has a 100% chance of placing two 5% Poisons and a Sleep debuff. Although this excels for controlling & killing waves, you can also utilise this to daze Al-Naemeh The Sand Devil, which coincides perfectly with his passive that has a 40% chance to sleep enemies who attack allies under Ally Protection. The passive effect of his A2 grants two additional poisons when Sleep Debuffs are removed or expired after an enemy takes damage, further adding to his value. Noct’s A1 is simple yet effective, granting an 80% chance of placing a 50% Decrease Accuracy Debuff, alleviating the intensive Resistance stats required for encounters such as the Iron Twins Fortress or Bommal The Dreadhorn (As examples).

Moving on swiftly from the core mechanics of his kit, he can also provide a good range of support for your team. Noct can place a 50% Ally protection buff on all allies, whilst placing a 15% Continuous Heal buff on them. This strong form of protection can be vital for survivability, especially for the Clan Boss when paired with his poisons to fulfil multiple key roles. Heading in to the unique part of his kit, the Somnolence passive can heal himself by 3%, and his allies by 1% every time a poison debuff ticks on an enemy. This not only enables solo potentials for the Dragon and Ice Golem dungeons, but also works tremendously for the Doom Tower granted you optimise his HP.

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
