Senna Amberheart – Champion Spotlight
Senna Amberheart is one of the most unique Turn Meter manipulators in Raid: Shadow Legends. Her passive fills the Turn Meters of all allies by 5% whenever a Continuous Heal buff is activated, and with her A2 placing two of these buffs herself, combined with allies who bring this effect, she can provide significant Turn Meter boosts to cycle your team’s turns rapidly. Beyond this, Senna’s revival skill allows her to bring back fallen allies and immediately team up with them to attack an enemy, which is valuable for unique boss strategies in content such as Fire Knight. She also places Increase Speed buffs to coincide with the boosting, and an A1 that activates Continuous Heals on allies. In today’s article, we’ll explore Senna’s potential, optimal builds, and the areas where she shines the most!
FIRE KNIGHT HARD 10
In this Senna based Fire Knight Hard team, the strategy revolves around allowing the boss to wipe out all allies except Mikage and Senna, and the team would open with their default attacks. Senna’s revival skill is then used to bring back fallen allies and trigger the Ally Attack, followed by Mikage, which together depletes the boss’s shield counters using multi-hitters in your squad. In the showcased example, Old Ghrukkus and Thor ensure key debuffs such as Heal Reduction, Decrease Attack, and Decrease Speed are applied to slow the boss and sustain the team. Genzin and Thor provide multi-hits for quick shield depletion and wave clearing. Even if the boss takes a second turn, Mikage’s Ally Attacks and multi-hits bring the shield down again, while Decrease Attack reduces incoming damage, and Heal Reduction prevents healing, ensuring the run finishes smoothly without needing Freeze champions.
The Phantom Touch blessing is used on various allies to help deplete the shield counters faster. Senna is equipped with Stoneskin gear to avoid taking damage or receiving Decrease Speed on the boss’s initial attack, allowing her to revive allies instantly. Her Increase Speed buffs, Heals, and Turn Meter boosts keep the team sustained & cycling turns rapidly, so they can maximize damage output in a short amount of time. It’s worth mentioning that Mikage isn’t the only champion capable of making these teams work; however, she’s a strong choice due to her Shadowkin synergy for additional attacks and her ability to include all allies in the Ally Attack.
This strategy concept was initially showcased by Farbstoff, whose version features two Coldhearts and a Stag Knight, fulfilling similar roles as Thor, Genzin, and Old Ghrukkus, although it features multiple Enemy Max HP attacks for faster runs. Champions like Gnut can also be considered in similar setups, offering Freeze for Turn Meter control and unleashing Blessed Bash to quickly deplete the boss’s health.
HYDRA CLAN BOSS
Before and even after the Hydra Clan Boss rebalance, Senna Amberheart remains a top tier support option for many teams. With decapitated heads now having HP bars and respawning more frequently, her Turn Meter boosting becomes even more valuable. Coupled with Increase Speed and her A1 to activate Continuous Heals, she allows allies to cycle back to their active skills faster, so they can maintain control over the Hydra heads. When built in a 9 piece Protection set, Senna not only protects her buffs but also boosts ally damage by 5% for each buff she places on them. As a champion you want to build fast, Senna can frequently place Increase Speed and multiple Continuous Heals, stacking the buffs to further amplify the Protection set’s damage boost. Additionally, the Continuous Heals help keep allies sustained from the Hydra’s attacks, while her Revival is strong for times where allies are taken down.
How To Build Senna Amberheart
When building Senna Amberheart, your choice of gear sets should align with the specific encounters you’re tackling. For most PVE content, a 9 piece Protection set can boost ally damage, Relentless can help turns for more Continuous Heals for additional Turn Meter boosts, or a simple Speed set can be great. For areas like Fire Knight or Arena, Stoneskin is an excellent option to ensure she survives the boss’s initial attack before reviving allies or stays alive in Arena to bring back fallen teammates for an ally attack.

OTHER PLACES TO USE SENNA AMBERHEART
As shown in the screenshot above, Senna is a strong option for Clan Boss, excelling at maximizing damage output in the shortest time possible. While speed tuning her can be challenging due to her A1 activations and extensive Turn Meter manipulation, she can still outpace the boss to consistently heal and enable more attacks. Pairing her with champions like Wythir the Crowned, who can instantly activate Continuous Heals, can further enhance the team by granting allies more turns throughout the battle. Additionally, ally attack champions can help trigger her A1 more frequently. For damage output, prioritize allies who bring crucial debuffs like Decrease Attack, Decrease Defence, and Weaken, while contributing enough damage to reach the 1 key mark in Clan Boss. She’s a fun champion to experiment with, even for late game players.
Overall, Senna’s versatility makes her a valuable support champion in nearly all areas of the game, from Doom Tower waves and boss fights to Dungeon progression, Cursed City stages, and turn cycling in the Arena!
Seems like you could add content about her role in Chimera.
Also, I’d be interested to know if her ability can stack with Opardin Clanfather? Would she benefit from a nine piece Supersonic set?
As far as synergies go in different content, can you get more bang for your buck with buff extenders or with guys like Stokk the Broken who throw down more continuous heal.
