Ultimate Death Knight Release Date Announcement!

Plarium has kept us strung along with the knowledge that Ultimate Deathknight is coming to the game soon… but it has felt like an eternity since we found out that first sneak peek of information!

But that wait has ended with today’s announcement, where Deathknight himself held a press conference to reveal the date he is being added to the game, and it’s soon! Here’s what was said.

“Hey everyone, I’m so proud to officially announce my partnership with Raid as the face.. uh.. skull if you will of the ultimate death knight campaign. I’ll be hosting this amazing event from August 25^th through to October 27^th.”

Deathknight also teased that he will be dropping Promo codes, first looks of his new Ultimate form and “more super awesome stuff” real soon.

What we know so far:

Release date:
August 25^Th as per Deathknights “press conference”.

How to get:
Free for all Legendary Champion as confirmed in DeadwoodJedi’s interview – we assume this will work similarly to previous events such as Ninja, Deliana and Aleksandr, as well as Shaman and Jizoh with a 7-day log-in event.

Rarity:
Deathknight confirmed he will in fact be a LEGENDARY Champion in Hellhades’ Interview.

Affinity:
Deathknight hinted very obviously that he will be force affinity in Coldbrews’ Interview.

Deathknight vs Paragon:
There was also a possible hint that Deathknight could be valuable against Champions such as Paragon in Stoneskin? Whether this was just to build excitement for the event or is actually something to have in mind going forward we will have to wait and see.
