Watch out for this Progressive Summons Event!

We’ve grown very accustomed to having mid-week Progressive Summons Events on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in recent months, but this one, in particular, is one you want to really think carefully about before pulling for, as there are several upcoming events that will require shards.

First of all, we have the current Fusion for Brewguard Jeroboam which started yesterday – and this event is NOTHING to do with that, meaning it is here to bait us into using shards ahead of the two shard events that are involved in the fusion, a Champion Chase Tournament and a Hero’s Path Event that replaces the Summon Rush in this Fusion.

The Hero’s Path is mandatory, you MUST earn at least 10 of the 20 available fragments from the Hero’s Path Event in order to complete the Fusion, unless you place high in Tournament brackets and pick up some of the bonus fragments, meaning players will want to be very careful and preserve their shards.

Of course in typical Plarium fashion, however, this bait Progressive Summons Event is very enticing with some incredibly powerful Champions up for grabs!

Plarium Announcement

Hey y’all!

I have some news about the upcoming events:

This Tuesday, October 1st, we’re planning to launch a Progressive Chance Event, giving you at least x15 chance to summon the Champions of your choice from the selected pool from Ancient, Primal, Sacred, and Void Shards.

1 Slot Legendary Champions:

This Event will last 48 hours.

What is a Progressive Summon Event?

Unlike x2 events, where the odds of pulling a specific rarity is increased, progressive summons increase the chance that should you pull the higher rarity i.e. Legendary then you have an increased chance of earning the selected champion. If you pull the rarity then the chances increase when you pull the rarity again. The way it works is quite simple:

When you summon a champion, there is a 1 / total possible champions in that rarity. When you take part in a progressive summon, the total possible champions is increased by 14 for the champion you selected and you instead gain a 15 / total possible champions in that rarity + 14. This means the chances of acquiring the 1 champion that you select increases.

To get started, you select 1 champion from the list of available options per rarity and per shard. You will increase the odds by x15. Once you pull the rarity the odds increase to x20 and finally if you pull the rarity a second time it increases to a x25. Naturally, if you go 2 legendary deep then the chances of pulling your desired legendary on the third pull is the best outside of guaranteed summon events.

Who should you choose?

You can only select 1 champion of each rarity per shard so making the right choice is important. Fortunately, you can change your choice at any point during the summon event. Your choice will depend on who is already in your roster and what gaps you are looking to fill. We believe the options below are the best for most accounts as these champions provide the best overall power.

Should you Summon?

As we mentioned above, this event is not included as part of the active fusion event, therefore you should double check you have enough shards to finish the fusion. These events are typically designed to drain your resources distract you from other events and make shards more desirable to summon in midweek.

Not only do we have the Fusion to worry about however, but in the next few weeks we anticipate a Deck of Fates Event for Freyja Fateweaver which will almost certainly require shards for efficient completion, so if you are planning on going for this event, beware of your shard counter – especially if you are also doing the Fusion!

If you are willing to spend and are looking for one or two of the included Champions, then this event could be valuable for you, especially if you are close to pity, but before making any decision and committing to the event, remember that the standard-rates apply and you will not get any increased odds of legendary champions.
