Blizaar the Howler Fusion Guide – Raid Shadow Legends

Welcome to our Blizaar the Howler Fusion Guide, the 2023 Christmas Fusion, where we will provide all the information necessary to complete this Fusion Event, and get your hands on this brand-new Legendary Champion.

This is a first-of-its-kind Fusion; featuring the first-ever Hero’s Path Fusion Event, which holds 50 Fragments on its own (double any other event!) – however its important to note, that you do not NEED to complete this event, if you complete every other event – with 450 total fragments being available out of a required 50, you can either choose to skip the Hero’s Path, or Skip two other events completely.

Be sure to check back each day, for daily updates as events are released.

Blizaar the Howler Fusion Type: Hybrid

Blizaar is a Hybrid Fusion, rather than the standard ‘Fusion Event’ or ‘Fragment Collector’ – This means, instead of simply collecting Fragments or Champions to fuse Blizaar, we will be collecting 4 Epic Champions, to fuse him – however, those 4 Epic Champions will be obtained by collecting Fragments.

Once you have collected enough Fragments for all four Epics – you will need to rank them to level 50, rank 5 – and fully ascend them!

These Fragments will be collected by completing Fusion Events and Tournaments, which will be rewarded at specific Point Milestones.

One important thing to note with Hybrid Fusions is just like Traditional Fusions – you will need to finish this Fusion (and Summon Blizaar) during the window, which is clearly labelled with a countdown – you CANNOT hold off summoning him for the future unlike with a Fragment Collector.

Hybrid Fusion Requirements:

With Champion Levelling and Ascending playing a key role still in Hybrid Fusions, here is a breakdown of what you will need.

The Champions involved in the fusion are:

Blizaar the Howler Fusion Events:

As part of the Blizaar the Howler Fusion, we will have 2, maybe 3 Summoning Events in the Fusion Schedule, with the Summon Rush and Champion Chase being guaranteed, there is a Hero’s Path on Christmas Day that MAY well include summoning (we unfortunately can’t confirm this yet…)

  • Friday 15th December – Summon Rush Event – 2x Primal and Progressive Chance Event
  • Friday 22nd December – Champion Chase Tournament
  • Monday 25th December – Hero’s Path Event – Unknown if this is a summon event or not.

To reduce the amount of time spent in Dungeon Tournaments, Plarium has started activating Super Raids for Fusion Events and this will be the case in the Blizaar the Howler Fusion also, with the corresponding Super Raids lining up with their adjoining dungeon in the Fusion Calendar.

  • On Thursday, December 14th, we’re planning to enable Super Raids in the Dragon’s Lair.
  • On Sunday, December 17th, we’re planning to enable Super Raids in the Ice Golem’s Peak.
  • Also, on Thursday, December 21st, we’re planning to enable Super Raids in the Fire Knight’s Castle.
  • And moreover, on Sunday, December 24th, we’re planning to enable Super Raids in the Spider’s Den.

As this contains a Summon Rush Event, you will need to plan ahead to determine if you can achieve this. We don’t know the exact point requirements for the summon rush so far but you will need to be prepared. Use our summon rush calculator below to see how many points you can currently earn.

Day 1:

New Events:

Starting off this Festive Fusion, we have a Training Tournament and a Dragon Tournament!

For the Dragon Tournament, acquiring 2250 Points would typically work out as roughly 140 runs of stage 20, assuming the most unfavourable drops of 5* rare accessories.

However, it’s important to note that this number may be substantially reduced based on your personal drop rates. This will consume approximately 2250 energy. It’s worth mentioning that running Hard Mode Dragon could further adjust these numbers, as the Mythical Artifact Drops offer an additional boost to your points.

And as for the Champion Training Tournament trying to acquire 5150 Points. To maximize your points, it is important to level up your chickens before using them as food. You can easily achieve this by adding some brews to the 4*/5* chickens before feeding them. This simple step will greatly assist you in achieving the necessary points to successfully complete the tournament.

Day 2:

New Events:

Next up in the Fusion we’ve got the Summon Rush Event, which will line up with the Primal and Progressive Chance Event, so check them out; pick your Champions, and get pulling!

This will also count towards the Yuletide Titan Event, with 300 Snow Points up for grabs!

Day 3:

New Events:

The Dungeon Divers overlaps with 3 other energy-spending events, allowing you to double-dip your energy and farm points for multiple events at the same time, currently, we have Dragon and Champion Training, whilst on Sunday the Ice Golem Tournament begins, so fear not if you’ve not maxed the Dungeon Divers Event after completing the Training and Dragon, as you will be able to wrap up any remaining points from Ice  Golem!

For the Arena Tournament, make sure to utilize all of your daily battles. Monitor your points closely and consider using 1 or 2 gem refills if necessary to reach your target points, depending on your arena tier and win rate. Prioritize winning fights and avoid using tokens on uncertain battles.

Day 4:

New Events:

Next up for the Fusion, we’ve got an Ice Golem Tournament, Acquiring 2250 Points would typically work out as roughly 140 runs of stage 20, assuming the most unfavourable drops of 5* rare gear.

However, it’s important to note that this number may be substantially reduced based on your personal drop rates. This will consume approximately 2250 energy. It’s worth mentioning that running Hard Mode Ice Golem could further adjust these numbers, as the Mythical Artifact Drops offer an additional boost to your points.

As for the Artifact Enhancement Event, you’ll need 4775 points. Here are some efficient methods to save silver while achieving this:

  1. If you previously upgraded your gear to levels 7, 11, or 15, spend silver to increase each piece by one level for quick and easy points.
  2. Another effective approach is to clear out your gear inventory. Upgrade items you may want to keep to observe their stats and sell those you don’t need. Refer to this helpful guide for more information.

Day 7:

New Events:

  • Champion Training Event – 10 Fragments – 6200 Points

To maximize your points in this Event, it is important to level up your chickens before using them as food. You can easily achieve this by adding some brews to the 4*/5* chickens before feeding them. This simple step will greatly assist you in achieving the necessary points to successfully complete the Event.

You can use this time to level up some of the Epics you’ve acquired so far if you’ve fused them!

Day 8:

New Events:

  • Fire Knight Tournament – 2250 Points – 25 Fragments
  • Artifact Enhancement Event – 4775 Points – 25 Fragments

Next up for the Fusion, we’ve got a Fire Knight Tournament, Acquiring 2250 Points would typically work out as roughly 140 runs of stage 20, assuming the most unfavourable drops of 5* rare gear.

However, it’s important to note that this number may be substantially reduced based on your personal drop rates. This will consume approximately 2250 energy. It’s worth mentioning that running Fire Knight Hard could further adjust these numbers, as the Mythical Artifact Drops offer an additional boost to your points.

I find it interesting that just after the fusion event started, I had souls for both Blizaar and Bovos show up in my Soul Merchant. One of my clanmates reported the same. But I’m sure the soul merchant is completely randomized and not being used in any way to try to promote the events, right Plarium? :P

You’ve mentioned Emic in this guide a couple of times instead of Blizaar.

some of the points requirements are getting crazy, 4000 for dungeon divers ? a year ago that was only 2850 for Gnishak(who was a much better champ), 2 years ago it was just over 2000.
the only good thing is some of the events overlapped with the Yuletide (Tormin) event so if you were doing both you could use the points to obtain 2 champs.
