Neva – Free to Play Series Update

Spacer

Well, I suppose it’s about time that I update everybody interested in my account progress in the HH Gaming Free to Play series of 2023.

First of all, I feel like I should answer the question many people may have – since I’m not a Streamer, and I’m not a YouTuber, who am I?

I’m the Head of Content and Takeovers at HH Gaming, so nearly all the articles that you’ll see on Hellhades.com, whether they be about Raid: Shadow Legends, or Eternal Evolution (or even other games that we dabble in from time to time) – They usually are from myself, I’ve been working for HH Gaming since the website actually went live in December 2020 however it was only part-time initially alongside my old job, and I have been completely full-time since July 2021.

I may be behind the scenes for many of you, but I’m always here quietly working away!

The Free to Play Series:

Phixion bigged me up in regards to this event in the initial Draft which I was unable to make it to, and I was branded as the Dark Horse due to my past experience in competitive gaming, and the fact that I simply can’t help but compete to the best of my ability, and things won’t be any different here!

As many of you would’ve seen I was dealt the semi-unfortunate hand, starting with the almighty Galek, which on paper seemed like a negative, however as time passes I’m learning to love this green guy – despite the fact that I had previously started with every other option but actively avoided him.

Along with Galek, I did, fortunately, get Deacon, (I can’t imagine what would’ve happened if I got one of the less favourable options, I would have never kept up with Saph!)

Update #1 – Day 5 or so

So, we’re 5? Days in now… I think. I’m honestly losing track of it at this point, but not for negative reasons, I’m truly enjoying the fresh aspect of the game that I’ve not experienced in several years and it’s really breathing some life into the game at a time when I really needed it.

I was the first of the bunch to get their Starter Champion to 60, on the fourth day (That’ll teach them to shame Galek in the future!) and have since begun developing the rest of my team, pushing my arena all the way to Gold 1 with a team of:

Yes, that’s right, I pulled Gorgorab and Apothecary during the 2x Ancients Events, but unfortunately no legendary Champions unlike some of the other challengers (Deadwood and OddOne I’m looking at you two…)

However, that’s really where things end, I’m back to farming 12-3 Brutal to build up food for my next project, and am currently undecided whether that will be Ronda when we get her, or Deacon – however he is serving well at level 40 currently, so I may leave him at level 50 till I am a bit more comfortable with resources.

I will keep everyone posted with another update before too long, although for the next week or so it will likely be lots of hitting Replay in campaign, without much to add!
